Chapter 5

After the introductions, the teacher went on to explain the rules, the curriculum and so on. And with that, homeroom ended, and break time followed. As soon as the bell rang, Shousuke's table was swarmed with girls, asking him all sorts of questions.

"You work as a model right?"

"Yes."

"Your hair color is so nice! Did you dye it?"

"Ahh, no. It's natural."

"It looks so fluffy! Can I touch it?"

"I would prefer it if you didn't…"

…

Tomori was observing the chaos when she heard a familiar voice

"Well, he's still as popular as ever. You gotta take your shot before the other girls snatch him away you know~."

"HUH?!"

She got flustered from the idea alone, with her face turning bright red. Behind her was none other than Kuroki himself, with a wide grin on his face

"Or you can settle with me? I'm somewhat of a handsome guy mysel–"

"Stop harassing her you idiot."

Haku then followed with another chop on Kuroki's head

"Can you stop hitting me in the head? What if I get dumber?"

"Than you already are? I doubt it."

"Why do you think I'm in class 1-2 then?"

"Sure sure, now get outta here."

The two were joking around, like two friends who have known each other for a decade.

"Thats kind of mean you know Haku-kun." Tomori said

"See Shousuke, even your girlfriend is defending me!"

"Shut up, and Tomori-san, he deserved all this."

Tomori blushed bit, she thought to herself 'Why didn't he deny me being his girlfriend? Maybe be-No that can't be it, he-'

All of a sudden, two figures approached the three. It was Ueno and Kurosawa.

"You know violence isn't the answer to everything right, Haku-chin?"

"Yes. It's a question. And the answer is always yes, Ueno-san."

Behind Ueno was Kurosawa, who stood there anxiously, with a small frown on her face, the exact opposite of Ueno's happy expression. They were total opposites, but maybe that was why they were such close friends.

"So what brings you here, Ueno-san, Kurosawa-san?" Shousuke asked

"I'm surprised you remembered my name, Haku-chin, since you were sleeping through most of it."

"How could I not know the school mascot girl and her best friend?"

"You're e-exaggerating, Haku-kun, I'm nowhere as popular as Ueno-san…"

"Anyways, we're here to tell you that the class is going out to karaoke after school today, are you guys in? Excluding the orange-head of course."

"HEY! I WANNA GO ALONG TOO!" Kuroki said, as if a great tragedy just happened in front of his eyes.

"Sadly you aren't a part of this class Carrot-kun. "

"I'm in, what about you Tomori-san?" Shousuke replied.

"Uh yeah! Since i have nothing to do anyways."

"That's… awesome. See you guys then!"

There seems to be a note of annoyance in Ueno's voice.

"Oh yeah, we should all exchange contact information, and maybe make a group chat!"

"Uhhh… sure. Tomori-san, give me your contact information too."

"Oh, yeah, please wait a minute."

"Can I join?" Kuroki cut in with eyes of anticipation.

"Fine, Carrot-kun. Only because you're their friend."

The group exchanged their Lime IDs and formed a group chat. And as soon as it was created, the bell rang, and everyone rushed back to their seats, waiting for the next period.
