Chapter 42

It was the first day of camp and everyone was training like there was no tomorrow.

The training consists of best 3 matches with each team playing against the other teams at least once for the day. However if a team loses a best 3 set they have to do a punishment. The punishment for this training camp is to sprint up a hill.

Karasuno had a rough time since they have been losing to the other teams. Daiki hasn't been using his planning skills at all and mostly has been focusing on his other skills.

This allowed everyone else to have a tougher time as they needed to adjust to the other teams pacing and observe their them to predict their next moves.

For each best of 3 they have won one set for each match. They were trying perfect some new weapons while also training to cover up some of their weaknesses.

Coach Ukai looked at his team as they tried to change.

' They are getting better. The loss hit them hard but it's also serving as motivation for them to try harder.

Nishinoya has great stamina and ball control. It's obvious he is the best libero but his problem was in sets and overhand recieves. Jump floaters were always the bain of his excistance.Having him practice sets should allow him to get a feel on how to do it.'

A jump floater headed towards Nishinoya.

' Alright just like you practiced Nishinoya just think of it as you setting the ball. '

The ball hit is fingers and went out of bounds. Nishinoya starred for a few seconds.

" Dammmit!"

'Tanaka is more suited to spiking but his recieves and blocks are just as good. His timings and control needed to be polished a little but now their ready to be used. Having many oppentents who vary in different fields for volleyball will allow him to get more experience.'

Suga sent the ball over to Tanaka. Some blockers came into his vision.

' Alright I'll aim for his hand for a block out. '

Tanaka spiked the ball into the blockers hand and bounced to the left before falling on the floor.

" Hell Yeah!!"

'Asahi power while spiking diffently gives him the title of ace and his recieves are also good but he needed more weapons. The jump serve he is working has come together nicely the only thing left was to give him a place to use it .'

Asahi got ready for a serve.He bounced the ball a few times before throwing the ball up for a jump serve.He ran up and hit the ball. The ball flew through the air but it went out of bounds.

" Damn. " Asahi says with irritation.

" Relax you can get another chance. " Daichi said.

' Daichi has been improving his defence. All he needed was stronger oppentents to help him. '

Daichi watched as the serve came out him. It was a fast jump serve. Daichi got under the ball and got the ball into the air. It then went to Suga.

' Kurokawa has been more focused on technique now. He used to do things on instinct but now he's able to follow the ball and get it in the air. '

The spiker was about to hit the ball when he changed to a faint. Kurokawa noticed and ran up to save it.

' Sugas stamina was the problem for most of the matches. The fast pacing of the match didn't help. Right now he could still go on during a match. He knows everyone's favorite set by heart so their isn't much needed for his sets individually. The biggest problem was that people could predict where the ball was going to go based on his body language but after awhile it's no longer much of a problem. '

Suga got into position and did a quick eye contact to Daiki who understood. He ran up and jumped as Suga sent the ball to him. He hit the ball to floor before anyone could react.

' As for Daiki he's trying to become a decoy. After that match he realised that he make spikers think there's an area where they can hit when it's guarded by Daiki. When they hit the ball he's already there to receive it. The best way to perfect it is by pacing strong oppentents. '

Daiki watched as the spiker came to spike. He then lifted himself up to make his back straight. The spiker saw this and decided to use a feint. The ball was dropping but out of no where Daiki came and recieved it.

The spiker was shocked but Suga just got under the ball and sent it to Tanaka who spiked the ball to the floor.

" Nice one. " Daiki said.

" Thanks. " Tanaka said.

' The team is coming nicely. Once we're done here I'm coming for revenge you old midgit. '

*At Shiratorizawa*

" AAACCHHOO." Coach Washijo sneezed. ' That tall lanky shit must be thinking of crushing me. Bring it on I'll just crush you. ' He thought while releasing a aura which made the whole team shat themselves.

' We are so dead!!' They thought. Their coach looked at them with A devil face.The tram started sweating bucket loads while some had their hands together praying.

' Goodbye world.'
