Chapter 13

A week has passed since we won the tournament. When we got to school the next day everyone cheered for as and congratulated us. We also had no club time as we had extra classes to cover the ones we missed.

It has been 1 week since this happened and the school festival is coming soon. Which leads to the situation im in right now.

After the fact we won the tournament by beating the previous champions the school president called me and asked me to participate in the school festival. To make sure I do so he signed my name on the sheet with the attraction being a food stall.

" I want you to do this as I asked your brother if there's something your good at other than volleyball and he said cooking. Also you can't get out of this. Good luck. "

" Alright however the school will give the funds for the ingredients. "

" What?? "

" Why so surprised. You think I would agree with right out. It's you who wrote my name down. I never asked to sign. So if you want me to do this you'll be paying the fees. "

" You think so huh. You forget no one knows you didn't sign it. There's no proof..." As he was saying this I pulled out a tape recorder.

" You sure about that. "

" Alright what do want. " He said with fear on his face.

" The ingredients will be bought by you. The profit from the sales will be 60 to 40. "

" What!! Now you're pushing it. "

" Ha but you forget I have to get people to help me which means I have to give them some of the profits for working. But you don't seem cooperative so I guess I'll just..." I say while getting ready to expose him.

" No wait I'll do it. But one question why won't you help us. "

" Simple I just wanted to stay at home while watching TV as a Gravity Falls marathon was going to air!!!! "

" So you would not participate in the school fair so that you could watch a TV show!! "

" Yes. That's my top priority. "

He slaps his forehead before saying " Just go. "

I then leave.

I head to the gym to ask about my situation.

" Yo Dai chan what's up. Why did the school prez call you. " Tendou asks.

" He signed my name to make a good stall for the festival. I can't run it by myself so I need your help. "

" Hmm alright. One question will we get paid?? "

" Yes the school prez will use his money to pay for ingredients. The profits will be 60 to 40. He will get 40 since he has payed for most of the ingredients while we spilt the rest between the 6 of us. "

" Alright I believe the best course of action is to crush the competition. "

" True. "

The festival was tomorrow and in these two weeks I was not idle. I finally came up with the dish I wanted to make in the first week.

It is variations of wraps. I decided to make two kinds of wraps being a Tofu wrap and A Chicken wrap. The best part was that I made many types of sauce. I made sweet, spicy and a combination of the two.I had Shoyo and Natsu be my guinea pigs for the expirement.

The second week was training. I knew how to make the wraps but my work force didn't so I made them practice hard.Tendou will be the cashier. I made sure to make their skills perfect and we did it. The teamwork is excellent and we are ready for battle.

Today is the day of the festival. Me and Shoyo get up early have breakfast and head to school. Once we arrive we head to our stall to set up our equipment. There we see Tendou, Totsubo, Kagame and Aomine.

" You took your time. " Tendou says

" Yeah yeah. " I reply.

" So when will we open. "

" We will open at 1pm and close at 7pm. Each wrap is 300 yen and each sauce is 100 yen. Now let's prepare. "

We prepared our ingredients and got ready to open at 1pm. But before that we needed to attract customers luckily we have someone to try.

" Yoho Dai chan I heard you were making a stall. I come to try it. "It was Oikawa and he came with Iwazumi.

" Oh Oiwa chan this is perfect. I need you to try it. "

" So what can I get you?? " Tendou asks.

" I'll get the Tofu wrap with the sweet sauce. " Oikawa states.

" I'll have the Chicken wrap with the spicy sauce. " Iwazumi states.

" Coming write up. That will be 400 yen each. "

We got to work. While making the wrap we let the scent of the food in the air to attract customers.

" My god this is delicious!!!!" Oikawa yells.Iwazumi doesn't say anything he just has a content smile on his face.

" Oh that smells good. "

" Those kids look like they are enjoying it "

" Lets go try it"

People started coming towards us.

" Alright people. To your battle stations. War is on the horizon. Remember show no mercy!" I state.

" Yes Sir!! "

With that we went to war. The enemy forces kept coming without signs of slowing down but we kept going. We trained like maniacs to survive this and we will show the fruits of our labour to the world.It was a rough journey but we managed to survive the attack and came out victorious.

" Dai chan are you done with your monologue. "

" Yes but the viewers needed to know "

" I see. That makes sense. Anyway how much did you earn."

" Luckily we managed to borrow the machine used to print out receipts so we managed to make over a million yen for our troubles. " Tendou says

" Seriously!!!! "

" Most of the customers came back for seconds "

" I see that makes sense. "

" Anyway can you help us with packing everything. We are tired. "

" Sure."

We talked most of the time before heading back home.

We spilt the profits as promised the next day. I gave the prez his share before leaving.

I headed to the gym where we would have our next meeting.

" Alright good to see all of you in one piece. " Ms Yama says. " Now that the school festival is over we will begin volleyball training again. The third years will leave soon so they will help us with training. In this time we will go over new formations and old ones. I will also increase your stamina training. We will also focus on basics and your strengths. Let's get to work. "

Like always hell came. We completed everything but before going home Tendou came up to me.

" Dai chan take a look at this letter. "

I take a look at it and my eyes widen.

" Tendou sempai. You got a invite to join Shiratorizawa!!! "

" That's right. "

" What Tendou got into Shiratorizawa. "

" Let me see that.Its true. Congrats man ."

Everyone congratulated him. We had toast to celebrate before heading home.
