Chapter 12

With the semi finals over the next match is against Shiratorizawa in the finals. This will be a hard match. Ushiwaka or Wakatoshi Ushijima is on the team. If you haven't watched the Haikyuu series then you should. This guy is a monster. His height and power allows to plow through most teams as most of them can't block his spikes or receive them.

He is left handed so he plays as the opposite. When he spikes his power allows him to get past blocks with pure force. For receives almost no one can. The spin on the ball allows the ball to bounce off as most players are used to right handed spikes. Even if they did get used to it the power behind it would still make them unable to receive it most of the time.

But he is not the only threat. Their enter team has height. There defence is also solid. All in all they are a strong team.

" My plan to beat Shiratorizawa is this. "

I then explain to them the plan. Manipulating their movements was a given. To Ushiwaka I decided to use the total defence tactic from the series. What we are going to do is narrow his choices to use straight shots. We will have Kagame there to defend to get his shots in the air though it will take time for him to get used to the shots.

For scoring points we will make sure to weaken their defence with the manipulation before striking.

We then headed home to get some sleep before the big game.

It was now the day for the finals. We headed to the gym to warm up. On the court we warmed up and Shiratorizawa did the same.

" Yoho Dai chan. " I looked up to the stands and saw Oikawa.

" Sup Oiwa chan. What are you doing here. "

" Just here to cheer. Anyway how's it going. "

" Pretty good. Mostly excited. "

" Well then good luck. Don't lose cause if you lose it will make it so I lose as well. " He said as he walked away.

The match then started with Teiko serving first. Daiki was up to serve. He used a jump serve to send the ball straight right in between their libero and wing spiker in a second. Point 1 for Teiko.

" Did you see that??!!"

" That serve was insane!!"

The audience was going crazy from that serve.

' That serve was as hard as Oikawas serve. ' Ushijima thought.He didn't think Teiko would get to the finals or beat Kitagawa Daichii so this was a surprise.

Daiki got ready for another serve. He sent to the other side where their libero managed to predict where the ball was going and got the ball into the air. However the ball then headed back to Teiko side.

Aomine got the ball up and sent it to Daiki. Daiki got under the ball and sent it to Tendou. He spiked it down but the ball got recieved by their wing spiker. The ball went to their setter who sent the ball to Ushiwaka. Tendou and Shoyo got in front of him but the ball went through Shoyos block and hit the floor.

' That was so cool. ' Shoyo thought.

' Damn this guy is insanely strong. ' Tendou thought.

Ushiwaka looked at Daiki while releasing pressure. Daiki felt it and realised it's a challenge. To respond he released his own pressure at him( No he does not have conqueror haki. Ushiwaka can release a pressure from his body or intent. Daiki is doing the same thing. )

From that point on, it was chaos. Kagame was able to get Ushiwakas spikes into the air but it wasn't perfect. Daiki still made use of this for the plan. Shiratorizawa was in the lead for th3 first set due to Ushiwaka but Teiko kept. Ushiwaka also took an interest with Shoyo for his skills.

During this time however Daiki made sure to lay down his plan. He managed to complete it before match point. They gave it their all to catch up but Shiratorizawa won the first set 25 to 23.

The second set was a different story. Daiki then used the plan. Teiko managed to beat back Shiratorizawa to gain the lead. They kept it up before winning the set. With the foundations already in place in the first set manipulating the other team to gain points was easy.

Their attacks become predictable so Tendou and Shoyo kept blocking most of them. Shoyo and Daiki quick managed to cause havoc on the court. Totsubo and Aomine kept getting past blocks with block outs and getting points when their was no one to stop them with blocks or receiving their spikes.Kagame had his work cut out for him for receiving. Ushiwaka spikes were insane. Most of the time he couldn't get the ball into the air as the ball bounces off his arms.

However Shiratorizawa didn't give up at all. They kept up the offence with Ushiwaka and managed to keep up barely. Ushiwaka was smiling though. He was on the losing end but was having fun. He didn't have many people who were good enough to give him a challenge.

It was soon time for the third set to start.

" Ahh the third set is upon us my brethren. " Stated Tendou. " We must now go on full out rage to claim victory!!"

" Yes sir. " Shoyo said.

" Sigh you never stop do you. " Kagame said.

" Nope. "

" Well he's right though. It's the final set let's get that victory. " Ms Yama says.

" Yes ma'am!!!" Everyone said.

The third set started and everyone was giving 100% of their strength. Both sides were going at it with each other. Teiko kept using the plan and kept scoring. Shiratorizawa wasn't in despair though as Ushiwaka kept the moral up by scoring points. The other attacks they executed also worked most of the time getting them points when Tendou or Shoyo didn't deny them.

" What's with this match??!!"

" This is on the level with Teiko vs Kitagawa Daiichi!! It's intense. "

The audience were in awe at the match. Each time a point was scored they cheered.

Excitement was in the air as match point arrived. Teiko was in the lead 24 to 23. Shiratorizawa increased their concentration to get the point. Teiko were in it to win.

Daiki was up to serve. He took a deep breath threw the ball into the air and spiked it hard to the other side. Their libero got it up into the air. The ball went to their setter who sent it to Ushiwaka. Tendou and Shoyo came with the total defence so he spiked it to Kagame.

Daiki used observation haki on the ball and noticed that the ball would bounce off Kagame hands and go out of bounds behind him. So he rushed to the place where the ball was going to go. Just as predicted the ball bounces off Kagame hands.

" Shit " He exclaimed.

The ball was going to touch the ground but before that happened Daiki was there under it and got the ball up.

' He caught up to the ball with the amount of distance he had to cover ' Ushiwaka thought while having a grin.

The ball came back to Tendou who sent it to the other side. They got the ball and sent it to Ushiwaka who spiked. Tendou who was there used his left hand to block the ball.

" One touch!!!"

Aomine got under the ball and sent it up. Daiki was already there after returning to his position and sent the ball to Shoyo. The blockers came to stop him but Shoyo saw this and aimed it at the blockers fingers which sent the ball to fly back to the end of the court. Shiratorizawa tried to get to the ball but it was out their reach. The ball fell to the ground.

The whistle blew.

" Hell yeah!!!! " Teiko cheered. They started to celebrate.

The audience were in shock before they started to cheer as well.

Shiratorizawa were exhausted as they lost. Most stood there in contemplation.Ushiwaka stood for a few seconds before going towards Teiko.

" Hinata Daiki. You won. I wish to play against you again. "

" Heh we will play again no problems their. It will be in high school. " Daiki said. Ushiwaka nodded at this.

" That goes the same for you Hinata Shoyo. "

" Of course. I'll beat you in high school. "

Ushiwaka said nothing else as he left the court.

It was now time for the award ceremony. Daiki won the best setter award. Tendou won the best middle blocker award. Ushiwaka won the best wing spiker award.

Soon after they got the trophy and lined up for the picture. Shoyo held on to the trophy in the picture as he was in front.

After that they headed home. On the way out they meet Oikawa.

" Dai chan you lucky bastard. I try to beat Ushiwaka for 2 years but you do it on your first try. I call hax!!!"

" Suck it up Shittykawa. We are better. " Tendou says.

" No one asked you!!"

They continued to argue while Daiki stood next and laughed while joining in sometimes. They then headed home to sleep.
