Realization

Murasakibara felt himself slip into the state once again. He wanted to let go of his restraints and give it his all but he stopped himself. He remembered what happened against Nekoma.

For the first time in his life Atsushi decided to ask something from his teammates, "I'll trust you guys to follow me in defense, so trust in me to take you to victory."

The entire mood around Fukurodani changed since that set. Every set since then the blockers followed Murasakibara's movement and matched him. They built a formidable defense around Atsushi and trusted him. They were still wary of him and didn't completely buy what he told but they knew how much he hurt his pride in asking for help.

For that reason they helped him create a brand new Fukurodani. A team as good in defense as it was in offense.

The practice was over for the day and most of the teams started heading back to their rooms to rest. Kuroo and Bokuto stayed back to practice while Akaashi was setting. Atsushi was packing when he saw them call the blocker from Karasuno.

They practiced a few shots but the blocker soon left. He heard him say, "Its because you put so much effort that you regret it later."

Murasakibara replied, "Then leave the team."

"I didn't see you there. And not everyone is as talented as you so don't judge me."

"I know, that kid and setter are better. That's why I told you to quit. You are wasting them."

Tsukishima replied angrily, "You know nothing about me mr. best blocker of the camp."

"I hate it when people allow their team to do bad. Such weakness should be cut off. I should crush you right now."

"Shut up. You don't understand anything. I have seen people be dropped for not giving it their all."

"Then they are weak. Its better that you quit before you become weak as well." Murasakibara left after saying that to me. As he left he could hear Tsukishima muttering, "None of you understand it."

The sets went quite well the next day. The team soon improved and their playstyles changed. They were dominating the sets against the opponents and were slowly perfecting their playstyle.

The remaining of the time went by normally and soon the last day of camp started. Most teams were excited for the barbeque. The last day proved to be extra tough as the coaches had increased the punishment and practice. The teams were getting exhausted and the Nekoma's setter nearly fainted when Lev missed a set and crashed into him.

At this point the only teams who were active were Karasuno who seemed to find a burst of energy entered the final set against Fukurodani.

The match was much closer than previous ones as their plays had improved throughout the session. Bokuto had become dejected and their offensive power fell. But this did not mean the end as other players started shining more. Their defense improved with Murasakibara taking the lead.

He started shutting down their plays with the bunch shift they had improved. The two blockers observed Murasakibara instead of the setter. While this slowed them slightly since they reacted slightly slower, they gained a scary amount of accuracy with triple block.

No synchronized attacks or feints worked on the team and they managed to always get a triple blocker to stop the opponent.

Bokuto soon joined the party and showed the reason he was considered a top 5 ace. They won the match with a cross shot that crossed the block and fell on the other side of the court.

The training camp came to an end and the teams soon went towards the clearing for the Barbeque.

While others started eating Murasakibara decided to take an entire grill for himself. He began eating them while making sure nobody came near it. Most simply decided not to approach him since he had a menacing look on his face.

Everyone enjoyed the atmosphere and had plenty of fun. They had undergone strict training for the past week and finally got some time to relax.

The Spring Tournament was beginning soon and this time it was held at Tokyo. They had 3 spots to qualify for nationals which was the most in the country.

Fukurodani was well prepared for the Tournament and were aiming for first place. They were confident in their ability to win and their record at the training camp convinced them.

The matches were already decided and were starting in a week's time. They were lucky this time as they had little competition till the higher levels. They would meet the powerhouses at the quarter finals. This meant that even if they somehow lost at that stage, they still had a chance to qualify.

Even after last tournament's upset plenty of people believed that they would qualify to the Nationals. The other teams were Nekoma and Itachiyama. Itachiyama was the favourite and plenty believed that they would win the tournament.

AN: Its a small chapter so sorry for that. I will try to make the next one bigger since I will be covering the rematch against Nekoma.

Just wanted to clarify to everyone that while Murasakibara is op, he would not be taking entire teams by himself. Many of you guys hated the first match against Nekoma so I hope you will like the rematch.
