Chapter 24 Training Zoya

Hadrian was now modifying the Horcrux cleansing ritual,he was making progress as Zoya came next to him and asked"How is everything going?"

Hadrian not looking away replied"It is good."

Zoya leaning her head on and hugging Hadrian from behind and nuzzle into his neck.She then rests her head sideways on Hadrian's back.

Zoya and Nina both had a talk with Hadrian about their feelings,Hadrian seeing the girls were serious about the relationship accepted their feelings.Both of them were happy about this.Nina became more daring with her stunts same can be said of Zoya,who was slightly more reserved.

Zoya then asked"When are you going to do this ritual?"

Hadrian sighed and replied"Maybe tomorrow,since it's a full move and therefore a perfect time."

Zoya then with slight fear spoke up"I can't believe General Kirigan is the Black Heretic."

Hadrian understood her disbelief,he was able to tell this information to only Nina,Zoya,Genya and David with Kirigan's permission.They were all shocked by the news,but having heard his side of the story they could tell the creation of the Fold was an accident.

Hadrian simply replied"He made the Fold by accident,after all his mind is also being clouded by his father's whispers.Also it didn't help the fact his wife died and the king was hunting him because of paranoia."

Zoya nodded agreeing with Hadrian and said"So did you know the people are now calling you Saint Hadrian of Hope."

Hadrian was surprised,he had read about saints basically Saints are Grisha and others worshipped in Ravka and by religious minorities abroad, often posthumously for the miracles they performed during their lifetime or martyrdom. There are thirteen Saints in the Istorii Sankt'ya, each of whom has a following. 

Hadrian groaned and muttered"Just another title,it doesn't matter to me."

Zoya smiled hearing this was the man he fell in love with,she then decided to change topic and said"Come on you were going to train with me today."

Hadrian actually started to train Zoya in other Grisha powers like Inferni,Tidemaker and Fabrikator.

Zoya's fingertips are on fire,she snaps her fingers and they go out.It was amazed her as normally a Inferni couldn't be tidemaker or Squaller,but here she is able to use it without any issues.Although she has not fully able to control her Tidemaker ability.

Zoya with awe said"It still amazes me."

Hadrian hummed and replied"Grisha are only using some of their potential,some of them are able to tap into it and do things we deem impossible.Also

Small Science is the art of manipulating matter at its most basic form,So aren't we made of matter as well."

Zoya nodded she had to agree with that,also she knew Nina was able to start her Fabrikator training too.Zoya remembered she had the ability to turn into big white tiger too.

Flashback

Zoya looking at Hadrian with confusion asked"Why do you mean I can turn into the White tiger of Ilmisk ?"

Hadrian calmly explained"in ancient times Grisha would let their amplifiers kill them while they killed their amplifiers which was the proper way to make an amplifier. This way not only made more powerful amplifiers but also granted the Grisha the ability to transform into the species of their amplifiers as the two become one."

Zoya was shocked it was something she never heard of,but she did know some of the saints were able to turn into animals.

Hadrian with serious tone said"First calm down and search inside you for the feeling that you had when you merged with your Amplifier."

Zoya nodded took a deep breath,it took sometime.But she remembered that feeling next thing she knew,she lunged into the air and burst into huge white tiger.

Hadrian helped her transform back and even configured a dress for her.In excitement Zoya kissed Hadrian in lips,she also away envied Hadrian's ability to transform into a firebird.Now she was able to do that too.Hadrian was slightly surprised,while Zoya grinned at him.

Flashback ended

After her first time transforming she felt the hearing and strength increase,it was amazing feeling.

Also then Zoya remembered,had has heard from Nina about their little escapade during their mission in Fjerda,so she wanted her reward to as she smirked,putting her arms around Hadrian's neck and play with his hair,while saying "You know since Nina was able to get a reward during your mission in Fjerda,O should get one too".

Hadrian chuckled hearing that,as he held her by the waist and pulled her close into a passionate kiss,it slowly became more serious that night.

Also Hadrian now had atleast 300 Grisha under his command all were loyal to him,the ones with most potential were Polina and Pavel  a set of powerful Inferni twins.They were well known for there fire manipulations and were also taught how to mix martial arts with their power.

Another was Marie an Inferni as well,she was with her friend Nadia a Squaller.

Hadrian himself trained them,the twins were

As an Inferni the twins are capable of directing flame. Unusual amongst Grisha and are capable of summoning fire with only one hand.

The Inferni among his group produced blue flames which was hottest they could produce followed by white. After that, yellow, orange and red are the common colours you'll see in most fires.Even then the hotter the flames went the more energy they were drained.
