New assignment

Shiro opened his eyes, nearly going blind due to a bright light.

" It seems you've woken up. " said a familiar gentle voice.

Turning his head towards the origin of the voice, Shiro was greeted be the smiling face of Midnight.

Looking around in his surroundings Shiro could tell he was in a hospital. Being slightly reminded of his time being experimented on, Shiro panicked a little and he unconsciously use a portion of Gura Gura. The building began to shake and the glass began to crack.

Seeing what was happening and the clear panicked in his eyes Nemuri put, two and two together and began to console him.

" It's ok your safe no one will hurt you. " said Nemuri as she brought him in a gentle embrace.

For some reason being in Nemuri's embraces calmed him, the room then stopped shacking. After a little while of being in her embrace Shiro finally caught hold of his emotions, he then pushed out of Nemuri's embrace. Even though she brought him to safety he'd be a fool to trust her so quickly.

Looking at her with wariness Shiro the suddenly thought of something.

" Why are you here? " Shiro asked with suspicion.

Pouting at his obvious distrust of her Nemuri then replied to his question.

" I thought it would be better if you saw a familiar face, after waking up at in an unfamiliar place alone. " said Nemuri.

Looking at her observing if her intentions were entirely pure Shiro finally lowers his guard just a bit still not 100% trusting her.

Seeing that he was as guarded as before Nemuri smiled beautifully. Seeing her smile Shiro was captivated by it, he felt as if he was at peace seeing her smile.

He was then cut from his thoughts as the door to his room opened.

" Yikes what happened in here? " asked an unfamiliar blonde haired man as he observed the partially ruined room.

Looking to Nemuri for an explanation as to who the blonde haired man was, Shiro once again raised his guard. Seeing his reaction Nemuri sighed.

" Shiro allow me to introduce you the the number 1 hero, All Might. All Might this is Kyojin Shiro. " said Nemuri as she introduced them.

" HA HA, it's a pleasure to meet you young Kyojin. " said All Might with a big smile and strong but gentle voice.

Surprised that the number 1 hero had come to visit him and that at the aura he gave off, Shiro slightly bowing towards him with respect. Seeing the gesture All Might chuckled before saying.

" There's no need for such gestures young Kyojin, I just hope that you'd be more comfortable around me. " said All Might.

Shocked by his request, Shiro just looked at All Might oddly before nodding his head. Seeing that boy had agreed to his request All Might's all ready huge smile seemed to get even bigger.

All Might then turned towards Nerumi.

" Midnight everyone who was part of the mission is required to meet back at HQ. " said All Might seriously.

Hearing him Nemuri nodded and got up from her chair.

" I'll be back to check on you later ok, try not to have any more outbursts alright. " said Nemuri with care.

Nodding at her words Shiro closed his eyes and went back to sleep.

Walking out of Shiro's room All Might and Nemuri quickly left in order to get back to HQ.

After arriving they immediately made their way to the meeting room. Where they saw, Endeavor and the Dark green and yellow haired man from earlier.

" So you to finally decided to show up. " said endeavor coldly.

" Ha Ha sorry about that everyone we were just visiting one of the children. " said All Might.

Sighing the man with dark green and yellow hair looked at All Might.

" All Might as the symbol of peace you must set an example for other and always arrive on time. " said the man.

" Yes your right I apologize Mirai. " All Might said solemnly

Suddenly a humanoid looking mouse suddenly spoke up.

" Everyone remember why we are here. " said the mouse.

After being reminded of their purpose every became much more focus. Seeing that everyone had become serious the mouse spoke again.

" It seems that this time around we truly took a hit, out of 150 kidnapped children only 20 survived and out of those 20 kids 5 were injured severely, and 10 remain unresponsive. "

After hearing this the Temperature of the room seemed to have dropped. Everyone's mood seemed to have soured.

" Have the families of all the children been contacted? " asked All Might holding back the anger and regret he was feeling.

Looking at him with a little concern the humanoid mouse nodded his head.

" All but one child has been reunited with their family. "

Suddenly Midnight interjected.

" Are you referring to the boy named Shiro why hasn't his family been contacted. "

Nodding his head to confirm her suspicions yes I am referring to the child know as Shiro, and the reason that we haven't contacted his family is because he doesn't have any. His mother died giving birth to him, and his father killed him self due to grief. "

Hearing this Midnight felt even more sorry for the boy then she already did. But the mouse wasn't done.

" It also has come to my attention that before he was taken by the side branch of the League of Villains, he lived in an orphanage but his life there wasn't any better than it was being a test subject the caretaker abused the children forcing them to go days without eating, physically and mentally abusing them. "

Hearing this truly broke the heroes hearts even the usually cold Endeavor felt a bit of pity for the boy.

" The boy has never once experienced happiness it is truly a terrible thing. " said All Might sadly.

The room once again became silent.

" Theirs one more thing you should know. " said the mouse.

" What is it? " asked Midnight in a foul mood.

Looking at everyone before Speaking up.

" After going through some of the footage recovered from the mission we came across a video of the boy obliterating one of the scientists into a bloody mess. "

Hearing this everyone was shocked, no one knew how to react.

" But due to it being self defense the boy won't be charged but he must be watched and monitored heavily so that he doesn't walk the wrong path. "

Hearing his words everyone nodded in agreement.

" That is why I want to assign the boy to one of you, so that he can be guided and watched over properly. " said the mouse looking at everyone seriously.
