WHO IS PRETTY MISS TO YOU?

"Pretty sister, I'm so glad you're here!!!"

The voice exclaimed and the whole table turned towards the source of the voice, sighting a cute Chinese teenage boy around the same age as them.

Kiaraa gaped at the boy dumbfoundedly not understanding a single word he just said because he spoke in Chinese. But noticing the expression on everyone's face except Yuna, she regretted not taking her mandarin classes seriously.

She turned towards Mia, still casting uncertain gazes at the approaching Chinese boy, "Mia, what did he just say?"

But instead of answering her question, Mia asked back, "Queen, do you know him from anywhere?" Kiaraa shook her head and then returned her gaze to the cute Chinese teenager who was now standing in front of their table with blue eyes sparkling with exciting emotions.

He raised his hand sheepishly and gave a cheeky grin, revealing his white teeth.

"Annoyeosayo!!!" he greeted in Korean and bowed slightly which made Kiaraa smile noticing how he decided to change his language because of her.

Adrian was the first to speak in Chinese, "What are you doing here Liang Sheng?" his voice was cold and domineering which made the boy flinch slightly.

Kiaraa noticed how the boy flinched at Adrian's words but because she couldn't understand Chinese she didn't know what Adrian said to him. She frowned and glared at Adrian, "Hey, what did you say to him? Don't scare him ok?"

Adrian didn't reply but just silently stared at her before turning his head to look ahead.

The boy seemed to notice that he was being supported by Kiaraa and his cute smile grew more definite.

"Pretty sister, I'm Liang Sheng," he introduced himself in Chinese and Kiaraa's brows furrowed.

'Again with Chinese? I thought he switched to Korean just a while ago.' She sighed inwardly and regretted the fact that she could only understand English, Korean and Spanish.

She had no other choice but to look at her best friend from China, Mia for translation. Mia just shrugged at her, not showing any intentions to help her.

Kiaraa scoffed at her then turned to Li Shen and he stared at her with marked reluctance before turning his head towards Adrian as if asking for permission before translating for her.

Realizing that Li Shen was out of question, she expectantly turned to Yuna who looked as confused as her. Obviously, the girl didn't understand Chinese too. She seemed to have forgotten that Yuna was half Thai and Canadian.

Sighing despondently, she had no other choice but to settle her gaze on Adrian who didn't spare her any glance but just expressionlessly stared at his phone with crossed legs.

Kiaraa was about to say something to him when she heard his cold voice that was not hard, not loud but it held such a chilling weight.

"Liang Sheng, If you can't speak English or Spanish then don't bother saying anything." He spoke in Chinese again without raising his head from his phone and Kiaraa was on the verge of pulling her hair, feeling left out among others.

Liang Sheng blinked his baby blue eyes cutely, staring at Adrian despairingly.

"But big brother," his voiced echoed lowly, "Pretty sister is so cute. I've always wanted to meet her since the day I got admitted here but she didn't show up for my lunch date invitation.

"Big brother, what's your relationship with pretty miss here? I know you're not the kind of person to interfere or even care about a girl's matter."

Ok now, Kiaraa was beyond infuriated. A hint of truculent impatience roughened her demeanor. She slammed her hands on the table harshly with an evident glare of fury.

"I am about three seconds away from going crazy if you all don't stop this heart wrenching suspense and explain to me what's going on."

"Too noisy," Adrian complained softy and looked away.

But despite her heated gazes and threats, no one seemed to care as they all turned to Liang Sheng wanting to hear more of what he has to say.

Kiaraa was caught between laughter and tears. She had never felt this ignored in her entire life and who would think that the cause of this was because she stubbornly refused to learn how to speak Chinese. What a joke!

Li Shen turned to Liang Sheng with not much expression displaying on his handsome face. "Sheng, how did you get admitted into an English-speaking school without learning how to speak English? Tell me, are the schools in China not enough? If I remember clearly, Bayside Academy is also in China."

Liang Sheng pouted slightly at his question, "What do you mean by that brother Shen? Bayside Academy is a school of elites around the world, am I not allowed to be here? Spare me the questions, I'm simply just a transfer student."

Adrian frowned, "Say a word to her and you'll get a phone call from your brother urging you to return back to China," his cold voice rang out lowly.

Adrian's voice held an eminent threat in them and Liang Sheng flinched gazing at the pair of expressionless silver eyes.

Despite the obvious threats, he still rant on. "But big brother why am I not allowed to talk to pretty miss here? Although I don't know the relationship between you two, but if you're worried that I'll betray her then I promise that I will take care of her exceptionally. I won't treat her like my other girlfriends in China. I swear, I swear on my brother Liang Ming's life."

Adrian's gaze became colder, "Shut up!" he scowled, "One more word and I'm sending a message to Liang Ming."

Liang Sheng's expression became desolate. Seeing the person in front of him acting like a stern father-in-law refusing to give his daughter's hand in marriage, gloomy clouds floated at the top of his head.

But once again, he refused to back down on his resolute and pleaded on earnestly, "Please big brother. Just give me a chance. But I'm wondering why you are this persistent. Sorry to say...but I just want to know, who is pretty miss to you?"
