Chapter 9

"You dumbass can't see anything other than food. No need to butter up."

Dion's expression gets darken upon hearing this from fena.

"My Lady, I was serious when I said I was worried about you. I kept roaming around outside your room continuously for three days."

Dion made a very painful expression on his face and looks at Fena.

"My lady! I felt helpless. I couldn't do a thing for you. When you helped me. I promised myself that if you ever get in trouble I will be there to help you but when the time came I couldn't do a single thing and I felt so pathetic."

I was trying to tease him but didn't expect Dion to get serious. I haven't given thought about how he was feeling.....

When I saw him making such a painful expression on his face. I couldn't help but Pat's his head lightly.

"It's okay! You can do that next time and if you are worried about your promise then it's not a big deal. You can just make a promise to yourself again. About helping me if you are that concerned why don't you become my knight? Ha, ha, ha....."

I said things without giving a second thought to it and just blurted out thinking he won't take my words serious. Since he knows I said only to cheer him up.

Today is windy day. Everything is blowing away by the pressure of wind and only the sound of leaves falling on the ground remains. I was busy watching the leaves falling on ground.

Dion gets surprised after hearing what fena says to him and thoughts why he didn't think of such a thing. If he is planning to become knight anyway then why doesn't he just become knight of Fena. At that moment Dion didn't care about anything else.

Dion chuckles, "Gets on his one knee and takes Fena hands, My Lady, I here by promise to give you my life and swear a knight oath. I will do that once again when we will be grown up."

After saying that Dion kisses Fena hand and gives her the red roses.

Fena standing there speechless and creeps out at the same time.

'Wait! What? I seriously just said those things because I thought of him as a child. I didn't expect him to get serious. Does he even knows what he is doing? What he will have to go through if he become my knight. He said he will do it again, When we grow up. He doesn't know that there is no chance for that to happen. Since I didn't plan to stay here for so long.'

Fena starts pulling her hair from every angle of her head.

"Do you even understand? What you just said? Is it okay for you to decide this easily? Give a thought to it. I don't accept this."

"Why my lady? Didn't you felt my sincerity? Do I have to do in other way?"

"It's not about sincerity. It's just you're deciding on a whim. Right now you are deciding by your emotions later you might want to do something else. I am leaving for classes and I will see you tomorrow."

Fena runs away from Dion without looking back and keeps avoiding Dion for days and Dion keep following her. He keeps repeating the knight oath and his promise in front of her. Fena rejects him every time he does.

I got tired of Dion persistent and I agreed in the end and accepted his Oath for the time being.

"Now that you are my knight, You better keep following me, Got it!"

"Yes! For the rest of my life."

Rin, Rio and Ray comes in front of fena and circle around her. While giving the hateful expressions.

Ah! I was wondering where you people been all these days. Seems to be you were punished. So what did you come here for? Trying something again?

"We won't let you get of the hook so easily. We will always hate you. Furthermore, we are going to make your life hell from today onwards you trash."

Fena looks at them blankly and gets closer to rin and looks down on her.

"Hmm! You really are the youngest child here? Because there is nothing cute about you. Aren't you the leader of this trio? I'm amazed at the fact how come older ones are following the younger one so easily and shamelessly."

Rin pushes fena while saying," Don't look down on my brothers. You don't have the right to say like this about them."

"Is that so? Then I challenge you three go ahead and do whatever you want from now. Let's start the game from here on."

"Hmph!"

And from that day on the three of them started their tricks on me.

First Day," They threw water on me."

Second Day, "They mixed worms in my meals."

Third Day, " They teared my all clothes."

Fourth Day, " They threw my shoes and my other stuff in trash can."

Fifth Day, " They threw paint on me."

Sixth Day, " They put jelly in my hair."

Seventh Day," They put poisonous flowers in my bedroom vases.

The three of them was so irritated by fena unfazed reaction. It didn't bother her at all.

So, "Are you going to give up now? Before you do that I have something for you three."

The three of them stands there confused by fena words.

Honestly, I was at my limit after witnessing. How the things they did to me wasn't challenging at all?

"I think now it's time to give you all punishment."

I got closer to all of them and grabbed Rin by her hand and pulled towards me. She falls down on my lap and I started spanking her.

Rin gets so embarrassed by getting spanked by fena and starts crying. She have never been punished this way before.

Fena did same to twins too. All of them gets embarrassed, Curse fena and runs away.

Dion who was watching the whole scene from a far gets closer to Fena while saying.

My lady," Is it okay to do that to them? What if they complained to the duke or made up worse things on their own. They are truly evil believe me. They once did that to me."

Ha, ha, ha.....

Fena starts laughing hard at Dion words.

"Don't worry they won't do that. Since they are the one who started after all."

And after that day the trio never came or did something to me. It must be that they are still embarrassed by the fact that they were spanked.

Days passed by, And I learned a lot of things together with Dion. I got good at using sword.

My dancing also got better, But there are times when I still step on other foots. I can even play some instruments too.

Two days are remaining to royal banquet. Old man didn't tell me that the royal banquet is there because it's his majesty's birthday.

Fena was busy in her own thoughts, That the door suddenly breaks down and duke's enters, Starts dragging Fena as usual.

"Old man you should stop breaking the doors. Just how much money you got that you keep breaking such expensive doors without blinking an eye and why my room door only you break."

Duke's continue dragging fena while walking forward to the carriage.

"If you so bend on to the fact that I shouldn't break the doors of your room. Then you should keep opened or open at once when I call for you."

"I would keep the door opened if you give me something for it. Isn't it good the money you spent on new doors? Why not give it to me?"

Duke looks at fena with hopeless eyes and says,"You can't think of anything else besides money. Are you trying to make a deal here which only profit to you? Aren't you too young for this?"

Duke sighs and throws fena inside the carriage.

"Old man, Where are we going so early in the morning? The banquet is after two days not today."

Duke's smacks fena on her head and shouts at her," You idiot, Who do you think I am? Of course, I know it isn't today. I am taking you out to show you outside and for shopping. In order to attend banquet you need to wear something nice. You need to look good. Do you get it now? Or What? Don't tell me you thought of attending banquet in your causal dress."

(She did think of something like that)

Fena tries to avoid the duke's eyes and looks outside," Of course I didn't! I know this much. Ha, ha, ha....."

Duke looks with suspicious eyes at Fena but let it go since he doesn't want to waste energy at all.

Fena and Duke's walk around the streets and visits every boutique shops one by one.

"Are you trying to kill me old man? Is this some new kind of torture did you found for me? I am at my limit. I lost all energy. Likewise, I can't try dresses anymore."

"Okay! Let's stop here since we get what we wanted."

'My granddaughter sure took after her mother in beauty. She looks pretty in everything but as I thought pink goes well with her.'

Fena tries a lot of dresses on duke's order and gets hair cut too.

While walking on street fena sees the ice cream and cake shop and asks duke's to take her there.

Duke's takes here there since she obeyed him well today.

Duke's order tea for himself and watches fena enjoying her snacks.

Fena have hard time with the eating cake in a Noble way and the fork drops from her hand. The nobles in shop looks at fena for a while and starts Whispering between themselves.

Isn't that the duke Blanchester? No way, What is he doing here?

For real then it means the girl sitting next to him must be the rumored illegitimate child of the house.

Heard she came from very lowest place. No wonder she doesn't have etiquette well. No matter how much she tries to act like a Noble.

Both of them were hearing the things that Noble were speaking between themselves.

Duke's looks at fena who is looking down and the bangs in front of her eyes were hiding her eyes. Duke's stares at fena for a while as he was about to say something.
