Chapter 3

'Let's see how I am getting welcomed by other kids. I think I can guess a little bit by seeing this one kid.'

While I were lost in my thoughts I didn't notice what I am stepping on while entering the main gate of the mansion.

'Suddenly I started to have a bad feeling for some reason I don't want to look down. I feel if I looked down. I am going to see something terrible. please let it be just my imagination.'

I stepped back a little without looking down and slowly slowly tried to look down and when my eyes met the ground i was freeze in shock that I can't take a step back.

'As I thought I shouldn't looked down. Because I didn't knew that I was stepping on the tail of a dog. Look now how the dog is glaring at me. Even the dog wants me to get lost. Indeed its true that someone once said pet's resemble their owners.'

I stand there firmly and didn't move a muscle but I tried to keep smile on my face. Since I can't show that I am totally freaked out by the dog otherwise they will take advantage of it later on. Thanks to the novels that I used to read. I know alot of tricks.

When I entered a little further into the mansion. I got to see the other four kids of blanchester family. Each and every child is shining. My eyes are hurting by their beauty.

I screamed in my heart,"Are you sure they are your grand children's Oldman and my step siblings. Aren't they looking like a person who came out of a painting."

While I was busy looking at them. Someone called out to me.

"Welcome Mrs Fena to the Blanchester mansion."

As I looked at the person who called out to me. I saw a man nearly 40s in age standing infront of me. The moment I saw him I knew. He is the butler of the mansion the way he dressed up and he seems to be a polite and kind person.

"Ah, ha, Thank you...."

The butler started blabbering about alot of things but I didn't pay that much attention to it. Since I was busy in observing the kids behind the butler until the moment I heard this I started paying attention.

"Seems like rumours were true that my grace was going to bring in a child who totally looks the splitting image of late duke But to see in person my lady beats the duke in beauty indeed the children's of Blanchester family are charming kids."

Fena looked at the old man with twinkling eyes and then she made a proud expression.

'Beauty he says indeed this old man understands and noticed my beauty. Its a pity that others failed to notice. You won my heart old man. I will place you first in my favourite list.'

( She totally ignored the part where he described fena and her dad looks the same. she only noticed the word beauty.)

The butler looked at fena then he suddenly remembered something and said, " Silly me, I forgot to introduce myself to the lady. I am Jean and I am the butler of this mansion for 20 years. Its a pleasure to meet my lady. Please feel free to call me whenever you need something."

Fena looked at butler and then she gave her greeting to the butler.

" I am Fena and it's a pleasure to meet you too old man. I don't know how greetings works or etiquette since I came from a road side. So I can only do this much."

Fena walked towards the butler and kept quiet for few minutes then she raised her head and looked at the butler.

"Old man won't you show me my room for how long I am going to stand up here to greet one by one person my legs are hurting."

'I am serious its been hours I am walking and standing. Crossing one by one obstacles here.'

The butler looked at fena in amazement and takes a steps back and looks at Grand duke who is quiet from a long time and just quietly watching the both. Grand duke starts talking.

"Yeah, butler will show you your room after meeting up with your other siblings."

'Yeah! Yeah! let's get over with this for once and all. It's tiring me out.'

Fena starts walking towards the other kids and she stops infront of them. She start introducing herself but she gets interpreted by Alex.

"Hello! I am Fena. Its a pleasure to meet you all and I will be in your care-"

"Care? Pleasure? You say, don't make a fool out of us as if we can't see the expression on your face that you are trying so hard to hide. Don't come near me or disturb my life You are garbage of this family."

Fena in shock looked at Alex and realizes that Alex is the smart guy. No wonder he see through her act.

'I have to becareful of this guy. he is dangerous for my comfortable life.'

12 Years old Alex the eldest son of the blanchester family. Famous for being genius. Outstanding in everything. Red hair like red flames and purple eyes like violets.

The girl standing next to Alex is Viola who starts walking towards Fena.

"You will never be acknowledged here no matter what you do. Don't even think of becoming one of us. You will never be one of us. After all you are the daughter of that women."

11 Years old Viola the second daughter of blanchester family with same red hair and purple eyes as Alex. Widely known for her beauty and cold attitude towards men's in society.

Fena stands there quietly and stares at Viola heels and comes forward with curious looks in her eyes and asks.

"These heels are pretty and looks expensive. If I were to sell it. Will it worth of 50 gold coins. Isn't it amazing wearing such expensive high heels and act like it's no big deal. Will I also gets to wear these kinds of heels. I will take it for selling but not for wearing. Since I like flat shoes and they are comfortable. It's understandable you want to look tall but it's fine since I am also too short."

Fena starts spinning around Viola and keeps observing her from head to toe.

' I am amazed at how beautiful and expensive jewellery and clothes she is wearing but acting as if it's nothing big. Indeed life at duke's states are same as they mentioned in novels.'

Viola gets angry with the behaviour of Fena and ignores her.

'What is this? Just now I degraded her and she is totally immersed in heels. She is creeping me out.'

Fena pass by Viola and stands infront of twins kids Rio and Ray.

Ray with red hair and purple eyes and Rio with green eyes and pink hair. Both are eight years old but both are sick.

Ray can't speak and Rio can't hears. Rio learned to read lips. Only family members can understand Ray humming and signs.

"Hmm! what are you writing kid on the board that you are holding?"

Fena looks at the board and she sees the words written on the board are "You're ugly pig."

'I am feeling the same irritation as before when I met rin in garden sure they are siblings after all.'

At the same time Rio comes forward and stands infront of Ray and stares angrily at fena.

'Wait does he think I want to hurt his brother. Why glaring when you look this cute. Well! whatever none of my business.'

As fena passed by both of them she heard a voice from behind saying, " We will never be family and we will never welcome you as our elder sister."

Fena turned and looks at Rio then she turned to the front and starts walking While saying.

'I am so bored hearing again and again same things. Can't they all say at once when they only have one thing to say.'

Fena smirked and laughed saying, "Ha,ha,ha,Family you say I think you guys are misunderstanding. I didn't plan to become family nor I am here to make you guys acknowledge me."

Fena stops walking and says loudly with a cheerful expression while looking back at all of them.

"I am here to make my life comfortable. As long as I can get to eat and dress to wear. I am fine with it."

Everyone standing there went silent and looked at the back of fena who was walking ahead towards the stairs with the two maids.

Butler and Grand duke looks at each other in surprise with the fact that the kids stayed quiet. Because if it were to be any other day they would have made a ruckus.

Butler laughs lightly and says to grand duke, "You sure have found the right person to deal with the kids."

Grand duke stops laughing and stares blankly at the butler and then he looks at the back of fena and says, "Maybe not right only but someone understanding. She maybe can change the kids."

Extra Story

Maid 1 : This is your room miss Fena.

Maid 2 : I wish you a beautiful night.

Fena : Wait! Wait! Where is dinner? I am Hungry right now.

Maid 1 : But isn't late of night already!!

Maid 2 : We will see if there is anything available? Is there anything special you need ?

Fena : Yup Burger with French Fries

Maid 1 and 2 : Ehhhhh! What is that? Is that something you eat? What it looks like?

Fena : Ah! I forgot there is no TvT Burger here. Forget it! I will sleep....

The other day maids tried to find out in each and every cooking book and visited every chef of the empire to find out about Burger.
