Beyond you and your ambition

"Do you believe in gravity?" Kotei asked, a large smile plastered on his face, betraying the seriousness of the current situation.

Despite his instinct shouting at him to move away as far as possible, AFO's pride could not allow him to take anyone other than OFA's possessors seriously.

Thus, ignoring his sixth sense screaming in his head, he remained standing unmoving, a few meters away from Kotei, a smile appearing on his face.

"Kotei Juryoku was it?" He asked, unhesitantly.

From his research, the young man in front of him was quite different from his peers.

He did not seem to hesitate to cripple his opponents without a slight change on his face. The thing giving him even more confidence was that he did not seem to care much about heroes and villains.

With that in mind, the one nicknamed the king of villains extended his hand toward Kotei, using his charism to sway him to his side.

"I can offer you anything you wish. Quirk, money, power. Once we are done with All Might, Japan will be at our feet. Join me Juryoku... No. Join me, Nova."

Hearing that All Might began to panic a little. What AFO offer is way more than anything he or the government could offer to Kotei.

He was also sure that there was no way he could beat AFO and Kotei at the same time, certainly not in his condition.

"..." Kotei did not answer nor made any movement. His eyes were focused on AFO's outstretched hand as if he was pondering on his proposition.

The viewers behind the cameras were looking at the scene with anxiety. They began to understand that Kotei's choice would determine the future of Japan.

"You did not answer my question." Kotei simply stated, uncrossing his arms.

Finally understanding what Kotei really meant with his question, the villain opened his mouth trying once again to recruit him.

"Yo-" AFO's voice was quickly cut by Kotei's punch meeting his face with a strength not inferior to All Might's.

The hit sent his body flying like a ragdoll toward a building.

However, before he hit one of the few standing buildings, he came to a stop in the air.

"Kids nowadays are so disrespectful." He said, the injury of the hit he received visibly healing.

A second later, his scarred face had no sign of the Kotei's punch.

"Behind you." Kotei appeared behind the flying AFO, ready to deliver a downward kick on his head.

A dangerous layer of gravity was surrounding his leg, the light abnormally bending.

However, this time AFO was quick enough to retaliate as a frightening gust of wind left his hand. The two attacks met and the shockwave completely reduced the nearby building to useless scrapes.

The helicopter flying and recording the fight was forced to retreat as they were almost thrown toward the ground.

The two monsters currently fighting were blown away after their first confrontation.

AFO just had enough time to stop himself from flying when he was forced to augment the strength of one of his quirk, [Air walk], to remain in the air. Indeed, the gravity on him was way stronger than a second earlier because of Kotei.

Seeing the fast-approaching Kotei, he extended his hand toward him but this time, it was not to offer him a job.

His fingers morphed into red tendrils and rushed to meet Kotei at a frightening speed.

Kotei simply created a layer of gravity around his body, blocking all tendrils from harming him.

His right hand was seemingly shaking, ready to deliver a devastating hit to the villain.

"Naive child." AFO said calmly.

At the same moment, his chest opened as a waterfall collided right in Kotei.

The sudden attack made him stop for a few seconds before he continued to swing his fist toward where AFO was supposed to be.

However, the few seconds of hesitation were sufficient as the villain slipped behind him, totally dodging the punch which made a path through the water and the clouds for a few kilometers.

AFO used a quirk very similar to a gigantification quirk as he grew to the whopping height of 3000 centimeters, 1000 centimeters more than Mt. Lady. Using the opportunity, AFO grabbed Kotei in his hand and began charging all his quirks to be sure of completely crushing him.

"[Amaterasu's wraith]" Even though he did not hear Kotei's voice, AFO felt a great amount of danger, and quickly, it was as if his hand was melting. It was as if he was holding... the Sun itself.

A black fireball engulfed his right hand holding Kotei.

The fire was the hottest thing AFO ever felt in his entire life. He could feel his flesh and bone quickly melting. His right arm became charred black, but he did not stop charging all his quirk in his left hand. Once the fireball disappeared, Kotei was seen standing in the air, arms crossed on his chest.

"You are the naive one." He simply said, looking at the villain without a hint of impressiveness in his eyes.

'This is quite... underwhelming.' Kotei thought, looking at the slowly regenerating hand of AFO.

Shaking his head, he glanced at the slowly approaching left hand of AFO.

It was slow to him, but to the civilians, it is surely too fast for them to even comprehend what is happening.

"Let's stop this masquerade, this is not fun anymore." Kotei said, raising his hand toward the horizontal tornado approaching him.

It had electricity, fire, water, and some kind of black energy mixed inside.

It is visibly something made to kill.

"[Singularity]"

A single word caused the totality of Japan to be speechless as they saw what happened next.

The tornado launched by AFO disappeared, seemingly absorbed by an invisible dot in the sky.

If the latter had eyes, they would be jumping out of their sockets right now.

As if unbelieving, AFO began to scream, angry at Kotei.

"It isn't real! No! It can't be!"

"It can be... and it is." Kotei said, snapping his fingers.

At the same moment, it was as if space cracked above AFO. The same tornado that came toward Kotei was now hitting him with a much stronger strength.

Once he hit the ground, an explosion raised a cloud of dust everywhere, hiding the aftermath from the cameras.

A few seconds went past and the camera could finally focus on the two figures inside the giant crater.

AFO was defeated on the ground, his body was visibly broken and blood was flowing from his mouth. He would probably not die from this, but this time for sure, he was defeated.

A few meters from his unmoving body, Kotei was floating, hands crossed behind his back.

"As expected... Gravity is beyond your comprehension."
