How much you mean to me

"It means I might kill you if I try to go beyond the kisses. You might die Lilith".

"What do you mean by that? I will die? Why?" She looked a bit scared.

"Listen" he held her both hands as he spoke

"I once told you that i am not really here, that l am still stuck in a star with the rest of my world".

"Yes" she nodded. "But I can see and feel you".

"That is only because you have me in here" he touch her head like he did the first time they met.

"I am confused Andreas. If you are in my head, then why can I feel your touch, inhale your scent, hear your breaths, Just why? And why will I die if you try to touch me?" she had lots of questions going on in her head right now and she needed reasonable answers to them all.

"You only have those feelings around me Lilith because you welcomed me into your head. You made my story your favorite story because you loved me. I have always felt this attraction towards you since you were born and I remained stuck in your shadow till I found the time right to finally be with you but I am so sorry that I can't go beyond how close we are right now because..." he hesitated.

" Because of what?" Lilith was beginning to loose her patience already. She wanted to hear the real reason why he couldn't touch her farther than he already has.

"Because I am now dark Lilith".

"Dark?"

"Yes dark. Since Gorgor my world has been lost in the galaxy, all we her children have turned dark. We now remain under shadows, never to come out to light. But you Lilith brought me into you marvelous light and I am afraid that was a big mistake".

"What do you mean by 'a big mistake'?"

"If I dare to do what you ask of me, I might consume you with the darkness in me and you might not be able to bear it because you are not of Gorgor blood. So now you know Lilith that I too am hopeless in this situation".

Lilith's heart felt pained. Does this mean that they would never get to feel each's others warmth? Does it mean that they will remain this way for rest of their lives? No! She wasn't going to let that happen. She would not just relax on what she told him, she would look for a way to find a solution to it.

"Is there no solution to this?" she asked with a sad voice. "I mean, is there no way you can do what I ask of you without me dying?"

"That is not possible Lilith" he said plainly, not minding if it hurt her the more. She deserved to know the truth and not get her hopes up for nothing. "That cannot happen unless you are planning on bringing light back to Gorgor" he snorted.

'Bringing light back to Gorgor?' "What does that even mean?" she puzzled.

"Nothing reasonable Lilith" he turned away.

"Tell me Andreas. I want to know" she tried so hard not to sound desperate, but to be honest with herself she really was.

"That won't be possible either Lilith".

"Just tell me what it means, I will say if it is impossible or not"

"You are getting desperate Lilith" he neared her again. "It pleases me to know that you want to be with me so badly. It shows you long for me".

"Of course I do Andreas. I do. You are the only one I have learned to love and you don't expect me to give up on being with you not after the time I have spent waiting for you to say that I old enough to feel your touch. And now I have gotten there, you say you can't. All because you don't want to kill me. Tell me Andreas, what girl won't be desperate to get a solution to this. I want you Andreas. I want to be with you for the rest of my life and I will do any and everything to make that happen. I will do whatever it costs to find a solution and end this problem. Now please, tell me how to bring light back to Gorgor".

Lilith was not shy any more, she was done being that. Now was the time to face reality and one of it was finding away to bring light to Gorgor and set him free from the darkness it brought upon them and she was determined to make it possible no matter what it would take.

He pulled her to a tight hug and kissed her hair. "I love you so much Lilith" he spoke to her with his sweet voice, making her sob lightly into his chest. "I love you more than you can ever imagine. And I will do anything for us to be together except risking the lives of everyone on Omania".

She drew away from him immediately she understood what he said.

"Every one on Omania?"

He nodded.

"What has every one on Omania got to do with bringing light back to Gorgor?"

"Everything Lilith. Everything. Once light is restored to Gorgor, We will be free from the abyss Triven put us in and we will finally spot our location in the galaxy and you know what that means?"

She shook her head.

"It means that the door has been made open for my father to take his revenge on all of Omania especially Triven. And trust me Lilith when I say that with the height of the rage burning within him, it would be a death sentence for you all and sweet revenge for him. So no. I won't tell you how to restore light to Gorgor, for the sake of greater good" he said sadly.

"Is there no other way to relieve you of the darkness?" she asked again, not really hoping to hear something good but she had to ask.

"There is no other way Lilith".

"Then we shall go with the first" she blurted making him almost believe she was insane. "Are you out of your mind?"

"Just listen to me..."

"You are out of your mind Lilith. You want to give up the safety of this whole planet just so you can be with me? You are being too emotional right now!"

"I don't care Andreas. Let's just say that is how much you mean to me. The other worlds can protect themselves from your father's thirst for revenge and do can Triven. I only wish to save you, and that is what I will do even if it means putting the whole planet in danger".

"No Lilith" he objected, rising from her bed. "You are not thinking straight. My father is very powerful and dangerous. So many Triven rangers at that time sacrificed their lives when he attacked. Do you want history to repeat itself and turn their sacrifices to be in vain only because you are in love with me? Our love is forbidden Lilith. It was never meant to be, so please don't make rash decisions because of it. Be reasonable and understand that we were never meant to be".

"I don't buy that Andreas! I am not accepting that. I can't live without you Andreas" she took his hand and placed them on her cheeks. "I don't want to loose you, I can make this work. I will find a way for us to be together, another way. Don't ever say that we were not meant to be together, because I do not feel the same way. I know that we were meant for each other and nothing can change that" she kissed his hand.

"No Lilith" he pulled his hand away. " That can never be. Stop imagining things and face reality. As long as Gorgor remains lost and I have darkness within me, we will never be together because it will only cause your death and that is something I would never wish for. I love you so much Lilith and I am so sorry to say that I can't remain with you any longer".

"What? You are leaving?"

"Yes"

"For good? Forever? Never to return?" she stood from the bed to meet him with wide eyes.

"Yes Lilith. It would be best we stay apart from each other, since we won't be together anyways. I would only bring you more pain if I remain here when it is clear to you that I would not remain by your side. I am so sorry Lilith". He went closer to her and kissed her forehead before pulling away.

"No Andreas. Please." she pleaded. "I can't survive without you being here with me. I need you beside me, you promised me your sweet voice would be the first I hear every morning and the last I hear every night. And in return, I promised to protect you. To use my ruthless fighting skills against all your enemies, why do you wish to leave now. Who would protect you? Who would fight against your enemies? Who would always be here for me? Please Andreas don't go, stay, we will talk this out"

"There is nothing to talk about Lilith. I will only hurt you more if I remain here. Goodbye Lilith" he exhales deeply before walking passed her and left her room through her closed door.

She stood there frozen for some seconds before suddenly collapsing to the floor...
