91. Confrontation
"Oh, I am the strongest hero of Earth Prime". Alex said with a smile while conjuring another Throne and sitting down on it.
"Fantastic, then we have more reassurance". Lex smiled and nodded with satisfaction.
"But is his words credible?" His smile faded and he asked the others solemnly.
"Yeah". All of them nodded at the same time.
"That's good then". He nodded again and bought out a map for all of them.
"The Regime is currently trying to take over this part and meeting strong resistance. Only reassurance is that Superman is wary of us and not shooting them himself but it won't last long.
So we have to get the support of Atlantis and Themiscyra soon to contain the Regime. We can handle the high end combat power but we have to have someone to contain the grunts as well". Lex finished speaking and looked at the others in the room.
"I will go with Diana, Mera and Arthur to make sure that they surrender quickly". Alex voiced his opinion.
"Yeah that'll be a good idea". Diana nodded her head in agreement.
"I am also in support". Arthur said while nodding his head.
"Then it's settled. You four will go to take over the two places while we will distract the Regime". Led smiled and concluded the plan.
"Let's go". Alex said and the hatch to the bunker opened.
All of them flew to the sky and blasted off to the distance.
They had to carry Aquaman and Mera with them or they will be coming behind them while running.
They soon reached Atlantis and descended into it with full force. They wanted to conceal themselves and do it as fast as possible.
"We are going to Wage war against the insurgence and his excellency will not tolerate any failure". An angry voice came out of the main hall of the palace.
All of them stopped in front of the gate and listened to what was going on inside the hall.
"Your Majesty, are we really going to take orders from a Tyrant?" One of the ministers asked in worry.
"I don't want to as well but we have no choice. If we don do it, he will destroy Atlantis and I can't see it get destroyed". Arthur replied back with a sigh.
"No you don't". Alex barged into the hall with a band and said.
Aquaman, Mera and Diana followed behind him. They were vigilant and ready to fight if they saw any unfavourable movement.
"Who are you?" Aquaman asked while preparing his Trident and using his powers.
"You might not know me but you should know this guy". Alex said and grabbed Arthur's hand and pushed him to the front.
"What?" Aquaman was astonished when he saw Arthur.
They were carbon copies of each other. He thought that this was his clone and his anger was about to burst.
"We are from Earth Prime. Summoned by the Insurgency to stop Superman". Alex saw the mood fluctuation fo Aquaman and said to appease the atmosphere.
"It's impossible, you won't be able to stop him". Aquaman shook his head and denied without even thinking.
Superman's terror was instilled into their bones after all these years. Aquaman couldn't help denying their words.
"That might not be the case". Alex said and conjured a throne of his own.
He likes to sit and talk to everyone in style. Several other chairs appeared and others sat down as well except Arthur and Aquaman.
"Join us and we will stop Superman. Atlantis only needs to take care of the low level goons". Alex said while resting his on his hand.
"And how are you so sure?" Aquaman asked while squinting his eyes at Alex.
"Because I am strong". He smiled and with a wave of his hand immobilised Aquaman.
Aquaman felt like he didn't have the will to fight at all. He just couldn't muster up the courage or will to fight against Alex.
"I understand". Aquaman finally relented because he felt a greater oppression From Alex than he ever felt from Superman.
"Our armies will not invade and work together with the Regime from now on but we will also like to make sure that we only handle the dispatch that we feel is reasonable". Aquaman stated his view and looked at Alex seriously.
"That is feasible. You won't have to worry about Superman's revenge against your decision". Alex nodded his head with a smile.
"Well then to our agreement". Alex said and everyone felt a glass appear in their hands.
They looked at it and it was all filled with Alcohol to the brim. They smiled wryly and lifted their glasses.
"Cheers!" Everyone cheered and downed the glasses in one go.
The atmosphere in the Throne room eased greatly and everyone had a smile on their faces.
The ministers were also happy that they didn't have to take orders or associate with that lunatic anymore.
"We are finally free from that Lunatic's rule". The Ministers sighed with emotion and said to each other.
"Yeah, all because of these friends". Aquaman looked back at Arthur and shook his hand strongly with a smile.
Alex felt that it was a bit awkward looking at the two talking and shaking each other's hand. They were just that similar.
"Now that you have made the great and wise choice of joining the Insurgence. I will help you contact the HQ". Alex said and took out a device that could help with communication.
This device could not be tracked and could only be used for communication and was a great way to make sure that their location was not found.
They still had to go and try to Convince Themiscyra . He was sure to be able to convince them but he still didn't want to take any chances.
They might encounter attacks along the way and he didn't always want to use World over Heaven to solve everything.
Otherwise, it might just make him. 'I still know the fate of every Reality Manipulator from Marvel and I don't want to end up like them'. Alex shuddered when he thought about it.
