Chapter 13: Is it all just a coincidence?

"Can't hold on anymore!"

Sasuke felt like he had devoured a lifetime's worth of noodles. Despite ichiraku Ramen's undeniable deliciousness, he reached his limit, lying down at his desk, surrendering to the struggle. Itachi followed suit, falling shortly after.

Just holding on a second longer than his brother – that was the pride and dignity of being an older brother.

Kakashi, not fully committed to the game, finished eating unnoticed and put down his chopsticks.

Naruto, working hard, triumphantly finished his ramen before the game time ended. "I'm done eating!" he shouted loudly as if accomplishing an arduous task.

"Cough cough!" Satoru cleared his throat and continued. "Now that the game time has come, it is up to me to announce the final winner of the super big game.

The winner is Uchiha Shisui!

Satoru announced the answer under Naruto's stunned expression. People indeed can't be judged at first glance. Unexpectedly, the final winner turned out to be the gentle and seemingly weak Shisui.

"Hey?"

"I lost?" Naruto said in surprise. Everyone looked at the eventual winner, Uchiha Shisui. To their astonishment, Shisui was smiling, his eyes crescent-shaped, and an empty bowl in front of him.

"So strong?" Sasuke opened his eyes in disbelief. Even Itachi, who regarded Shisui as his best friend, raised his eyebrows in surprise. Shisui had worked exceptionally hard today.

Kakashi was equally astonished, wondering where they all found room to eat. Observing the thin Uchiha Shisui, Kakashi fell into doubt.

"Brother Shisui, you are so strong!" Naruto ran to Shisui and said enthusiastically.
