13th Hold On

Dark Dark left the hallway, went upstairs and entered the second floor. Infront of him was the aisle with the one part of the libery and the indoor training room on the right. The three rooms of Thrill, Fade and Numb were on the left.

Although Fade's room was nearer, he wanted to ask Numb first, so he ran comfortably to the end of the aisle and knocked on his door. Then he stepped back and realised the little sign on the door everyone had to inform about their status. In this case it said "Not here" Numb wasn't in his room. I will have to speak with him later.

Fade was sitting on his bed in his room playing bass, when he heard a knock on the door.

Hm? Who could that be?

Carefully he put his bass down and stood up quickly. He opened the door and Dark Dark looked at him.

"Hi, can I talk to you?", he asked.

"Sure, come in", Fade answered and they went to the table. "Have a seat. What's wrong?", Fade said and Dark Dark replied: "well, you know, how Frosty is, right? While fighting... She is... So strong... And..." It was hard for him to explain and admit he has a problem with her.

"You want a new fighting partner? You know, Frosty is good and you are not that weak. You should be more confident and believe in yourself", Fade answered. Disrespectful Dark Dark looked at him and contered:"I'm not. She is way to powerful and I wanna fight with you."

Little smiling Fade answered "I'm flattered but I wanna keep Trick. Surprised Dark asked:" you have Trick? As a fighting partner?" Fade defended him:"don't be so shocked, that's rude. He is quite good and we are friends. He is a little scared sometimes but it's ok."

"So you don't wanna swap", Dark Dark sumed up. Fade was shaking his head.

"...Okay. Have fun with Trick", Dark Dark said. Worried Fade answered quickly:"it's not his fault, please don't blame him. Don't be angry at him." Dark Dark took a deep breath and replied: "I'm not." Fade went on:"you sound like it."

Staying silent, Dark left the room. "Bye", he was his last word and disappeared. "Ok bye", Fade said altough he was already gone.
