what the heck is wrong with you kid ? ! ". a man questioned Quingtan as she bumps into him by mistake which led to the items he was carrying to fall off his hands .

". my dad woke up ! my dad woke up ! ". Quingtan didn't care about that as she keeps running forward bumping into more people as she runs forward.

lei pi was walking home with several guards on his left and right looking around with intimidating eyes that scared people away.

he was the Fourth out of five sons and two daughters. he was a handsome young man who tried his best to be who he wanted to be and not what his father lei ju wanted for him. his father was the Deen of sky shelter and he rules it with an iron fist more like the rest leaders of the other shelters did. different from his brothers he wanted a normal life where he could get rejected and accepted and not just feared by all. he wanted love and all the drama that came with it but to his family he was crazy. and that tagged him as the weird one in the family.

he was just coming from the sand wave mountain where he was supposed to supervise the work of the miners working there and that didn't end up well for him

Black beast wolves attacked the mines and killed lots of workers and destroyed over sixty yang vigor stones which was harder to get than a diamond. he was going to get in trouble for that. " maybe I should just go with lei xi's plan. at least I'll get a say I'm my life then.". lamented to himself.

" yeah that's the only way I could get over this all. but his plan won't be on effect until... ". bang....

he bumped into someone or rather someone bumped into him. but who was that? who would even have the chance to get close to one of the prince of sky shelter without his permission . and to think this person hit him.

he turned around to look at who this daring person is. on looking back it was a she,. a beautiful one at that. she had auburn hair and a smooth and soft skin as he felt when she bumped into him. she looked tall but young, about his age or so. she looked sorry for what she had did and was looking at him with eyes that compelled him to say sorry for blocking her way. her eyes were deep blue, they looked beautiful to him. " who is she ?" that was the first question he thought of but didn't think it appropriate to say it out loud.

" sorry. !! ". the girl said as she continues her stroll across the street. it was Quingtan,. she had tried going through a different route but it was all blocked thanks to a pack of wolves that attacked the city. her only route was this way which was also blocked as the prince was passing by. but she didn't mind thinking she would be sneaky and not attract attention. who would think she would be bumping into the prince. well she didn't care she wouldn't even mind bumping into the Deen lei ju. he was the one who caused this to her father and she never forgot about it. but what was odd was that the prince was starring at her with eyes like an hungry lion.

she turns around and continued her stroll just as she did before bumping into several people . " what's making you so happy Quingtan?". a woman asked Quingtan as she saw her with a smile over her face as she walks and twirls heading straight.

". my dad woke up ". Quingtan said with glee.

" get down to work now !!" a guard yelled at a group of workers mining in the middle of a cave

" this thing's gonna work I'm telling you and when it does I'm gonna rub it in your face" .

" Liu Kang forget about it. do you think you can ever find a red yang pineaca and not to talk less of a yin Pearl all by yourself". a young man of about seventeen years of age said to another besides him holding a ring which glowed a bright red.

" yes I can with the help of this ring. it was created with the pearl from a dark spin dragon and some other rare creatures. my father gave it to me on my coming to this mountains in the hope of me finding a yin Pearl and I think the reading I am getting here says if we go that way we could surly find something ". Liu Kang said

" whatever just don't do anything stupid "

" come-on Lin Jin this is our chance see over the last two years three people have found yin vigor stones in this same mountain don't you think we can still do the same"

" I don't know Kang , but don't let the guards catch you with that thing "

" you think you are more cautious about this than me ?". Liu Kang said while moving in deep into the cave . he turned back and noticed Lin Jin wasn't following.

" come on Lin Jin. ok fine if you come with me I'll give you the crawl mount you asked of " Liu Kang said

" and the pearl that came with it ?" Lin Jin asked .

" ok fine and the pearl. but whatever we find I'm the owner .".

" just go!" Lin Jin said to Liu Kang as they both walked in deep.

After a while of walking Lin Jin felt tired as they still didn't find any yin Pearl " Liu Kang I'm getting really tires of this long walk maybe we could just go mine the fields and if we get lucky we could find something good ".

" no ! didn't you notice , the more we walk in the brighter this thing gets and that's how it's supposed to behave if we're close to a yin Pearl ". Liu Kang said pointing at the ring on his hands which was now as bright as a glowing bulb .

" wait a minute, that's true maybe it's just something wrong with your ring . it can't be that easy to just find a yin Pearl ". Liu Kang said.

" someone in my family once used this thing to find a yin Pearl and you know that so why are you still doubting?" Liu Kang asked stressed out by Lin jin's constant doubting.

" ok fine I'm with you for just twenty more minutes and I'm out of here.

" ok fine twenty more minutes" Liu Kang said still walking in with his ring growing brighter by the second.

they walked in for about ten minutes with Lin Jin complaining with every step they took the ring grew brighter as the walked in not until they got to a dead end where there was just a smooth wall in front of them . it looked normal but it was still strange to see a smooth wall as that in a cave deep in the mountains.

" this must be it. maybe behind to his wall there the yin Pearl lies " Liu Kang said with glee.

". or maybe on the other side lies a bunch of hungry beast with maybe sixth or seventh clacks and they jump out to eat us the minute we break down that wall.". Lin Jin said . he was hesitant about the whole idea.

" relax there's nothing to be worried about , just stand back. ok ". Liu Kang said as he clutched GIS hands into a fist.

Lin Jin steps back as Liu Kang stretched out his fist ready to break down the wall with it .

Aaargh..

Liu Kang punched with all his might but all that only resulted in a small crack on the thick wall. if he continue he was only going to get his bones broken.

". you see,. you're at the brim of completing your fourth body clack and still you couldn't break down that wall. it's useless to try and it's not safe.". Lin Jin warned again.

". where In hell do you see someone whi found a potential yin Pearl and turns around to leave ? huh ,. we're gonna break this wall ok. now give me one of those cold pearls your sister makes so I can break this thing down !"

" I told you not to say anything thing about that . come on we've talked about this !" Lin Jin said.

" ok just one lat pearl please". Liu Kang begged.

". ok fine ". Lin Jin tossed him a small round blue orb about the size of an eyeball .

". thanks now step back " Liu Kang replied as he took the blue pearl in his hand. he threw it in his mouth and immediately his eyes turned blue with a bright light enveloping him.

Liu Kang punched the wall again. but this time the thick smooth wall had a big round hole in the middle where Liu knag's fist collided with . he punched again a few times and there go thick wall crumbling down to small rumbles of rocks .

" wait a minute, there really is a yin Pearl " Liu Kang looked surprised about this. though he was the one who brought the idea, he didn't think finding a yin Pearl would be that easy.

" you were right Liu Kang that must be a yin Pearl ". Lin Jin was also suprised by the outcome. " but how do we know this is a yin Pearl, I mean we haven't seen one before ". Lin Jin enquired.

" well I've seen one in a book before and it looks just the same ,. I'm going to see if I can take it ". Liu Kang answers

" be careful!" Lin Jin warned

Liu Kang stretched out his hands slowly wanting to take the yin Pearl. he couldn't see it clearly based on the bright light it illuminated. but he was damn sure he could take it .

when his hands got close to it he was blasted far off hitting his body on a rock nearby.

he caughed a mouthful of blood as he stood up and headed for the yin Pearl again.

" Liu Kang is it supposed to behave like that?". Lin Jin asked but he was too late he was sent soaring again and at the end hitting his body hard in the ground.

". you damn pearl rat thunder ! ". as Liu Kang said that his body increased In size a little as he ran towards the glowing yin Pearl in blistering speed. his fist was wreathed in thunder as he punched towards the pearl .

Liu Kang punched the pearl with the result of a loud sound as the lights around increased in a second and decreased immediately.

Aaargh...

Liu Kang cried out in pain as his fist which struck the pearl got stuck on the pearl.

Aaargh...

Liu Kang cried out louder as the pain increased. " what the? ". Lin Jin was shocked as he noticed his friend Liu Kang was shrinking in size, he looked pale and somehow his body was distorting or rather still the space around him was distorted.

Aaargh..

this time it was Lin Jin yelling . he took out a pearl from his clothing held it tightly as his body tuned a blue bright light .

at this point Liu Kang was already fully sucked into the pearl. he was no longer with Lin Jin .

Lin Jin punched at the bright pearl but this time he wasn't stuck to the pearl rather the Pearl was stuck on his fist.

Aaargh.....

Lin Jin punched the ground with the pearl on his fist trying to get it off but it got stuck and the more he tried the more the pearl grew brighter soon he could see a thing thanks to the brightness of the pearl .

boom.....

now the pearl just somehow disappeared from his hands " where did it go ? where is Liu Kang ?" Lin Jin was surprised about this.

now everything just went to normal with the pearl nowhere to be found and Liu Kang disappearing with it.

" oh no ! did that thing just disappear with him." Lin Jin said as he looked around for Liu Kang. " maybe he just somehow disappeared and appeared somewhere else maybe home ." as he said that he found out he was being sarcastic.

" oh no I've got to get out of here ." Lin Jin was now here alone and he didn't want to be next.

he ran all the way down to the point where they first started walking. he expected to see people there who he could tell what happened but all he could see was a group of dead bodies and dead black wolves.

" hey you what are you doing there ?". a man with a holding a sword looked at Lin Jin he was standing over a pile of dead wolves with a bag of pearl on his hands .

" sir I'm Lin Jin a worker here . I and my friend Liu Kang went in there and we found this crazy pearl it.. it sucked my friend in and I don't know".

" hey shut the f*ck up and get out of here you lousy thief ." the shoulder replied with disdain.

" I'm not a thief and why is everyone dead ?". Lin Jin asked .

" black beast wolves attacked the mines killed everyone lucky for no one the soldiers got here after everyone was dead . I'm here to pick up the body of the dead beasts. now get out of here. ". the soldier replied.

" oh Christ ! ". Lin Jin was shocked about this. it was normal for beast to attack the mines but it was unusual for them to kill so many people.

Lin Jin ran out straight for the exit and when he was about to leave he heard someone call out his name.

" Lin Jin !!. Lin Jin!!. Lin Jin!!! ". he could hear someone calling out his name from afar and that was a voice he clearly recognized.

" what's Quingtan doing here ? ". he wondered as he moves in haste towards the caller .

when he got close to the entrance he could see her clearly now . she was standing holding a huge cabbage on her right hand. ". what are you doing here ? " .

". dad woke up !". she said.

" dad did what ? !! ". he was so surprised that he had to question her words.

" dad woke up for real ". she didn't mind the question as she was as well happy.

". we've got to go,. let's go see him.!". he said with haste as he runs even faster than Quingtan did.
