How it all began

Waking up with cold sweats on his back Basem sighed and kept inhaling and exhaling trying to regain his composure to face what was banging on the metal door. While trying to regain his composure Basem kept thinking why does this he keep dreaming the same dream multiple times, as he was thinking he remembered one common thing that happened the day he dreamed of the memory was having contact with an afro As he today bumped into an afro and the last time he dreamt of that dream was when he talked with the CEO secretary about a new project. trying to come up with a conclusion made him dizzy.

Deciding to think about it some other time he tried shaking off his thoughts to face what was banging on the door as he had this bad feeling lingering in his heart. looking towards the banging door he clenched his fist and strengthened his heart to what was about to come. 

Picking up his new weapon that he had worked on for the last 3 years he looked at it with love-struck eyes and said" From today you will be called Belta" Basem named his new weapon and surprisingly as if understanding what Basem said the weapon lit up for a few seconds then dimmed down.

Smiling he headed to the door reaching the door he perked his ears to listen to any sound on the other side of the door. He heard ragged breathing and a bit of snickering then he heard a voice he could have sworn he heard somewhere but he could put his hands on"Hey are u going to open it or not midget" "On my dead body "responded a voice Basem was familiar, Its Bob Basem colleague, Bob still had confidence that the company will know of the misconduct that happened and give him his rights, but that will shatter soon enough." punch his face more till he bleeds and then pit his blood on the dna scanner and the door will open" said another voice Basem couldn't recognize sinisterly.

Basem's heart skipped a beat as he wondered how the stranger outside knew of the secret mechanism of the door scanner so he concluded that he must be someone who has a high position in the company. Basem continued listening.

On the other side of the door

Ben said stuttering" No no you can't do that that's a preach of the company security u could get expelled "Looking at the faces of the two afros in front of him through blurred vision because of the punches he was hit by he saw them going silent, taking their silence as a sign of hesitation he continued "yes u could get expelled if you leave now I could forget what happened today "suddenly ben heard a laughter to his right, looking slowly to his side he saw a face he would have never have thought he would see"Mr. CEO wha what are you doing here "

Looking toward Ben the CEO laughed and smiled warmly but that smile to Ben was like a devil's smile, turning to his subordinates he looked at them coldly and asked"Why are you taking this long just to steal one item" Both subordinates trembled at the ceo question but the one that Basem didn't recognize managed to answer shakingly"Basem that bastard changed his office security so the company master card can't open the door but we found a secret way to open it"

"Oh let me see," said the CEO fiddling and looking at Basem's office door security, couldn't figure anything out the CEO wasn't mad but the opposite he was excited and mumbled "I know he was amazing "

Back on basem's side

Basem was both surprised and not surprised that they were trying to steal something from his office as he saw some nobodies snooping around his office several times, what surprised him though was the involvement of the CEO, even though he valued himself greatly and knew that his creations are groundbreaking he didn't think he would grab the ceo attention as he was high up in society and geniuses like him knock on his door every day for a job at the company.

Basem decided to open the door to rescue his friend and confront the predators in front of his office. steeling his heart he pressed the button named open.

On the other side, the CEO was about to instruct his subordinates to open the door using the secret method, But before opening his mouth they all heard Kling. They all looked towards the metal door and noticed it opening which brought a smirk to the CEO's mouth "So you're here after all " said the CEO under his breath.

"Tsk tsk the mighty CEO of Techlex went so low to trying to steal his employee's things how low could u go, "said Basem as he laid his eyes on the CEO and without stopping looked at the two other culprits and kept his eyes at one of them " you spilled the coffee on my shirt this morning and this night you're trying to rob me how brave of you" then looked at the afro left"I don't know you but how did you about the secret method "

Ben seeing Basem talking to the CEO rudely went pale but seeing his indifferent face as he looked at the predators and he was filled with some courage to stand beside his friend "Do u have a plan"Standing beside Basem Ben whispered, Basem looked at Ben and seeing his disfigured face he was angry for his friend is also worried so he asked" I don't have a plan but don't worry whats important here are you okay "hearing Basem Ben smiled and gave a thumbs up.

Seeing this Basem returned his attention to the trio. The CEO found it amusing that Basem talked rudely to him and even ignored him and started checking on Ben so with a calculated smile he said" Did you two caring friends finish talking because I was getting bored" " So let's do this you Give me the all

Knowing eye and I will Forget your insolence here and you will continue working here as normal" continued the CEO" And add the security system you used on the door I like it "

Hearing what the CEO said Basem was dumbfounded at the ceo knowledge of the all-knowing eye and his empty hand involuntarily came up to his chest and grasped the necklace around his neck and his other hand clenched around his new weapon .steeling his nerves he looked in the ceo eyes
