Tour Outside

"What a lovely day isn't it big 'ol clock and furniture? It is very warm outside, I can sense the breeze of the summer sun. Although I cannot feel it. Well, I wanna go outside since 2 years ago but every time I open the door, I come back near you clocky. I gave up opening that oldy door in year 1. What if I try to open it again?"

Hannah had this exciting idea of opening the big door again after a year to see if she could finally go outside and make a tour to the town. All she can see in her window are trees, in her highest window, she can see a glimpse of light in the town area and there is nothing more.

"Open the door, open the door, Abracadabra!..." she sings enthusiastically while dancing and getting nearer the house door.

"It is the time! Is this the right time? AHHHH whatever! Just gonna try it to see. If it works then good! If it doesn't... then fine I'll stay here inside this dirty house for... FOREVER!"

Her mixed emotions were up to the ceiling. She really wanted to go outside that badly. As she gets nearer the door, her heartbeat skips so much beat, although she doesn't have one... she still considers she has it.

"The moment of truth..." She grabs the two doorknobs and twists them slowly with all her aura concentrated on her both hands while her eyes were half closed and are only peeking at what she does.

Then finally, she already twisted the doorknobs enough. All she has to do is to push it outwards.

"Tadaaa!"

"Wow! It... it didn't open." she cheerlessly said.

She walks away as far from the door as to her dismay.

"Well, what do I even expect? False hope really stings me like a bee sting." she grabs her bell and rang it as many times as she can.

"Ice cream, who wants a piece of rotten chocolate ice cream!" she jokingly said while ringing her bell.

Hannah was bored and all she can do was laugh at her own jokes and talk to every object at her house. This house that she calls her house was not even her own home but she got used to calling it 'my house'. Her favorite friend was the big clock which she thinks also talks back to her by making the noise of tik-tok.

"Oh, big old clock, how I wish I can go and see what's outside beside these trees. I am really curious about myself and my existence. What is even my purpose for staying in this world for almost 12 years? I thought souls should go to paradise after they die? I'm a ghost so definitely I die in some particular accident that I do not remember. Do I have unfinished business on Earth? Everything is a mystery. This house, my scary form, the bells, the bracelets, master... do I live here to be a servant?"

She looked at the clock with a sad eye while sitting at the couch and realize that again for hundred times that it does not really talk back to her.

"Whatever! I'll just eat some spiders."

Hannah make up her mind after eating some spiders which she did not totally eat in the real dimension, that she will try and try to open the door until it opens up for her.

"I won't give up! I'll open that nasty door no matter how long it may take!"

She then stood up and do what she needs to do and count every trials and error that she made.

"Hundred and fifty-one trials, still do not succeed." She tries to open the door.

The sunsets and bright orange color of clouds appear in the sky but Hannah is still trying to open the door.

"One thousand five hundred and twenty-five, one thousand five hundred and twenty-six. Ouch, my hands hurt so bad. But thou shall not lose thy hope! Keep twisting Hannah!" she kept twisting the doorknobs as much as she could.

"Five thousand nine hundred ninety-nine... nothing at all. I will give thine last ounce of strength. Six thousand, please open!"

(old crack of door sound)

The door finally opened.

"Holy smokes! It opened big old clock! I have opened the door!"

Hannah jumps out of excitement and then quickly prepares all her things and gets ready for her trip outside the house.

"My white dress, check! my goody shoes, check! my summer hat, check! My bell, a big big check! Bye clocky, now I must go and see the beauty of the outside. I'll tell you stories once I have come back if I will ever come back which is a big no."

She then walked away quickly and navigate her way outside the woods. After minutes of walking she then finally reached the town.

"Wow, so much light. There are so many people here. Is there a festival?"

Hannah was overwhelmed with joy and brimming with new hope about getting a new master. But it seems like no one can see her in this town. She then grabs a chocolate ice cream from the ice cream stall and sat down on the bench by the corner of the tree while watching young, and adults walk around.

"It is so nice to be outside after 2 years." She closed her eyes, smiled, and feel the breeze that is passing through her.

"Mommy I want some ice cream." The youngster said.

"Okay honey, let's go get you some chocolate ice cream." The mother replied.

"The typical mother and daughter bonding at night outside. How I wish I have a mother or even remember what my mother looked like." She licked her ice cream while moving her feet alternatively.

"But at least I got outside of that boring house, unlike clocky. So there is no time to be sad about not having a mother Hannah! You should be happy!" while continuing to eat her ice cream.

"Oh look, that's Johnny and Tommy! So they lived here in this town. But I wonder if they can still see me."

Hannah gets up and brushes off her dress to remove some dirt and tidies it up then follows Tommy and Johnny.

"Where are you going guys?" She asked.

"Well, guess you don't see me again." She added.

"Tommy this is our chance to be part of Leon's group! Embrace yourself, we will not be an outcast or bullied anymore!" Johnny said with an excited voice.

"Oh yeah! Leon's group! I'm sure you'll be part of their group Tom and Johnny! No doubt about it! Are we going to them?" Hannah joined the conversation.

"Are y-you really s-ure about this Jo-Johnny?" Tommy said stuttering.

"Of course! What will be our haunted house adventure if we will not let them see the video clip wherein we encounter a monstrous girl."

"Monstrous girl? Do you mean me?" She exaggeratedly said while still following them.

"But... you don't even want to watch the recorded video yourself. H-How would we e-expect them to w-watch it." Tommy replied.

"I already experience it! So... so I am not watching it!" Johnny excused.

"But you l-let me watch it"

"Because you left me all alone at the haunted house while you run for your life. You do not know what I have encountered all alone with that monster ghost girl. She even smirked at me as if she wanted to eat me alive and whole." Johnny explains with his voice shaking in fear.

"I didn't mean to scare you Johnny, I'm sorry that's not my intention. I will not eat you, I just want to be friendly." Hannah sadly replied.

"I'm... I'm sorry, I j-just panicked Johnny..." Tommy said.

"Well if you are really sorry then hurry! We will be late for our meeting with Leon's group."

"Okay o-okay." Tommy responds.

Tommy and Johnny were supposed to meet Leon's group at an abandoned junk shop at 9 pm sharp. The time is already 8:50 pm.

"Whew, we made it in time! But where are Leon and his group?" Hannah utters.

"Where i-is Leon?" Tommy asked.

"Let's wait, there's still lots of time, maybe they were a bit late." Johnny said with a smile on his face.

30 minutes have passed...

"Look Tommy they are here!" Johnny excitedly said.

"Ready the recorded video Tommy!"

Tommy opens his backpack and opens up his laptop where he saved the recorded video form Hannah's house.

"Wow! That is my house!" Hannah said.

"And... that is Leon and his gang? But I am still curious as to why you would want to be in their group. Are they some kind of fraternity group that protects you from being bullied?" She added.

"Hey, nerdies!" One of the guys in the group said.

"What are you so excited to make us see here Johnny the weirdo? Are you gonna make us see something frightening? Or are you going to dance and entertain us with your fat kiddo friend Tommy?" The boastful-looking guy told Johnny.

"Who's that kid? I don't like what he's saying... I think they are the ones that bully you two. Then why would you want to join their group?" She said irritably.

"Leon, you told us if we were brave enough you'll let us join the group. So we have prepared this recorded video for you guys. As a sign of our braveness!" Johnny proudly spoke.

The boys gathered near where Tommy place his laptop. And the clip of the paused video you can already see the inside of the haunted house where Tommy and Johnny bravely got in.

"What's that?" Leon asked.

"I-its t-the haun-haunted house in th-the middle of the w-w-woods." Tommy utterly speaks.

Tommy speaks utterly whenever he is nervous or shocked, that is why he was bullied besides from him being a fat kid.

"O-o-ohh s-s-spooky" Leon imitated Tommy then all the boys in the group laughed.

"I hope you did not pee on your pants when you enter that house Johnny and Tommy the weirdo buddies." One of the boys teased.

"No! And there is a great find there Leon, you can see something in there!" he proudly defended.

"Oh oh! Did I get caught on camera? Tell me Johnny and Tommy!" Hannah said excitedly while trying to sneak a peak at the laptop.

The laptop is being crowded by the boys so she cannot see clearly what was recorded in it.

"Then, go ahead and play it. Our time is getting wasted so make it quick." Leon said while he was yawning giving the feeling of being bored and having no interest in what Johnny and Tommy are saying.

"I really don't like these kids." Hannah stated.

"Go, Tommy, play the video." Johnny commanded.

"O-okay."

Tommy clicks the button and the video played.

Everything that they went through and said was caught on the video. Leon laughed at how clumsy and scared Tommy sounded in the recorded video.

"Is this what you call frightening?" Leon laughed.

"I think that's more like a joke show." Said the guy at the back who is thinner than Johnny.

Everyone laughed and Hannah doesn't like it. She is getting angry by the attitudes of those kids towards Johnny and Tommy which she considers friends even though they think that she is a monster ghost girl.

"Leon just look!" Johnny said.

Everyone shuts their mouth seeing how serious Johnny looks. They continue to watch the video and the part where the bell was dropped is now playing.

"I seriously believe that a rat has dropped that bell." One of the guys in the group said.

"No, I thought too, but it isn't." Johnny stated.

Johnny rang the bell three times and Hannah was caught suddenly appearing in the camera near Johnny.

"Oh, that's me! And yeah, I look...pretty horrible. Now I know why they call me a monster. But I am so curious... If the camera saw me appearing in that form, then that means I am visible to the human naked eye." she curiously speaks.

Johnny paused the video shakingly to where Hannah's form appeared.

"See that!? We have encountered that monstrous-looking ghost girl inside that haunted house! I have encountered more than Tommy had, it even spoke to me that I should not be afraid of her!" Johnny said.

"Huh? What are you talking about? There is only a couch beside you on that video." Leon said.

Tommy, Johnny, and Hannah were shocked knowing these guys does not see what is on the camera.

"No, look! This is the girl!" said Johnny while pointing his finger at the screen of the laptop where he can totally see my scary form caught on camera.

"You weirdo! There's nothing but a dusty couch on that! Who do you think your scaring!?" Leon shouts and hit Johnny in his head.

"Come on guys! We just wasted our time with these two weirdos." Leon walks back and everyone follows him leaving Tommy and Johnny behind.

Hannah was so frustrated and angry when Leon hit Johnny. Due to her build of emotions, it made her bell appear on the ground like it was dropped by someone creating a loud noise of bell ringing. Leon and the other boys who are walking away in the junk shop suddenly stopped and looked at where Tommy and Johnny were.

"H-hey, Johnny... I-I th-thought y-you d-d-d-did not t-take t-t-that be-bell with you?" Tommy curiously asked shaking and breathing heavily.

"No, I swear I left that at the haunted house. I did not take it with me!"

Johnny's eyes were so shocked that almost his eyeballs were going to pop out of his eye socket.

"What's happening? Is it because I am angry?" Hannah was in shock too after seeing what happened.

"Johnny ring the bell! I am so frustrated that these guys do not believe in what you have encountered! Let's make them see what you have seen! Come on! Now is your chance!" Hannah shouted.

"Is that the bell from the video?" Leon asked while going back to where Johnny and Tommy are.

"Y-yes" Tommy utters.

"Is that real gold? I am gonna be rich if that's gold!" Leon added as he walks and gets nearer the bell.

"No, Leon! If you pick up that bell and rang it three times it will make the monster dripping in blood appear so don't do it!" Johnny shouted with his worried and scared face.

"Oh, really?" Leon sarcastically said.

"What if I ring this bell for real? Let's see if you two are telling the truth." Leon picked up the bell and is teasing Johnny and Tommy about ringing it.

"N-no Leon!" Both Johnny and Tommy yelled.

"If there's a dripping bloody girl that appears, then you'll be at our group." Leon teased and everyone in the group laughed.

"Go on, ring the bell you nasty rotten to the core boy!" Hannah exclaims.

Leon rang the bell slowly, three times, and nothing happened.

"Come on self! show yourself! Save your friend from being bullied!" Hannah closes her eyes and is trying hard to let herself show up.

Suddenly at the corner of the junkshop, someone is appearing little by little, making a scary noise. The boys in the group were so shocked they could not speak. One of the boys was pointing at the back of Leon and Leon slowly turned his body to the back and finally sees Hannah... IN HER SCARIEST FORM.

Leon could not move an inch, he shouts but nothing comes out of his mouth.

"T-that's the m-m-m-monster Johnny!" Screams Tommy.

Hannah appeared as a girl covered and dripping in blood, with a broken neck and eyes wide open.

"It was... it was more worst t-than what we have s-seen Tommy" Johnny speaks utterly.

Hannah looked to where Johnny and Tommy were and said, "Do not worry, I am your friend."

She did not speak it literally but spoke to them in their minds. Tommy and Johnny were still in shock that they are trembling in fear. Hannah took the chance to scare Leon and his group to death. Leon peed his pants and the group run clumsily outside the junkshop crying and screaming the word monster. Johnny and Tommy were left at the Junkshop.

"I am your friend, I consider both of you as a friend, thank you for visiting me at my house the other day, that makes me gain hope. I do not know why I appear in my scariest form whenever you are near when someone rings my bell but I just want you to know that I want to be your friend. I understand if you are too scared of me, who would not be?" Hannah said while hiding somewhere in the darkest part of the corner so that the two would not be scared of her while she is talking.

"Now, allow me to get my bell so I can disappear. You can close your eyes so you cannot see me walking." she added.

The two boys were still in shock that what they could only do was listen, they close their eyes and Hannah took the chance to get her bell as quickly as possible. Before holding her bell, she said one final word.

"I will now go, I hope I'll see you again somewhere where you cannot see me." Then she happily picked up her bell and disappear to the naked eye.

The moment Tommy and Johnny opened their eyes, the bell, and the scary form Hannah was gone. They both looked at each other and think of the words Hannah have told them.

They packed their things and returned to their home while Hannah goes back to the bench where she was sitting beside the tree.
