Chapter 74: Warning Louis To Keep Secret...

When Jojo tried to call Louis, who was his new client, to warn him about the impending danger looming over his family and the village, the call didn't connect.

"Damn..."

Seeing Louis not picking up the call, Jojo cursed and instructed Jenny to put this case in the level 4 category.

He also asked her to try and contact the client to warn him not to do something stupid before they arrived there.

After a few minutes of walking, Jojo and Freya entered Elijah's place and walked inside the room where Elijah was lying in the ruins, unconscious.

There, Jojo informed Klaus that he needed to return home due to an important case.

"What case needs urgent attention? I heard you have a team who attends these cases in your stead, right..."

Noticing Jojo was in a hurry, Klaus raised an eyebrow curiously.

Before coming here, Hope told Klaus about Jojo and how he is from an organization or something that solves supernatural cases.

Klaus might be angered easily, but he is not a fool.

According to his sisters Freya, Hayley, and Hope, Jojo is very strong.

"Well, it's a level 4 category, which may take many lives silently before others could find out if it's left alone for a long time."

When implementing DMC, Jojo, and Jenny decided to divide the cases into level categories according to the difficulty and potential.

Harmless ghosts, psycho killers, and frauds come under the level 1 category.

While ghosts who were corrupted by darkness and only wanted to kill, evil cults (normal humans), cursed objects with minor curses, and curses that cause minor damage to the person who is affected by it are under the level 2 category.

Demonic spirits, lesser demons, vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters, cold ones, cursed objects with dangerous curses, and curses that are life-threatening to the person who is affected by them are classified under the level 3 category.

Based on the knowledge Jojo had, he divided the levels.

If they come in contact with something more potent than this, then they will increase the level category like level 4, level 5, level 6, etc.

Before this case, there was only one level 4 case registered, which was Pennywise, and now this is the second one in the level 4 category.

Listening to Jojo's explanation, Klaus, Antoinette, and Freya were impressed and asked how many cases Jojo had solved.

After a few minutes, Alice broke from the trance state, indicating her vision was complete.

"Are you okay, Alice?"

Bella, who came along with Edward, asked worriedly at Alice.

"Jojo has arrived at the airport..."

Alice's face lit up, and she told the others about Jojo's arrival with a wide smile.

"Oh... it's been two months since I last saw him."

Hearing Alice, who was happily jumping in excitement, Bella thought about the boy who she thought was a normal human like her in the circle.

"Hehe~ this time he is going to solve this new case with me. Who knows how many days it takes."

Rosalie, who was supporting Alice, grinned and her thoughts became wild thinking about how both Jojo and she were going to spend time-solving the case.

All the eyes in the cafeteria were on them when they entered the cafeteria and took their usual spot.

When Eric and his group saw the Cullens usually took the same spot, they turned their attention back and started chatting.

"It's been two months since I last saw Jojo... do you have any idea why he is on a long leave?"

Jessica asked Eric, who started eating the food after the Cullens took their seats.

"I don't know. Maybe he changed schools or some accident might have happened which needed a long break to recover."

Mike, who heard Jessica, answered her with a smirk and took a bite of his food.

"You can ask Bella about it, right? She always hangs out with that Edward."

Mike pointed at Edward and gave his opinion on this matter to Jessica.

Jenny picked up Jojo and Freya from the airport in her car.

"Were you able to contact Louis, Jenny..."

Jojo asked Jenny seriously after some light conversation.

Sigh...

"No, Jojo... but we are still trying to contact him... but he is not answering any calls."

With a sigh, Jenny started to shake her head.

They arrived at Jojo's house.

When they entered the house, they were greeted by Alex, who was playing with the PlayStation.

"Sara, were you able to locate Louis?"

Jojo, after patting Alex's head, asked Sara, who welcomed him home.

"Yes, sir. The case was filed from the village Ludlow, Maine."

Sara gave the location from where the case was filed.

In Ludlow...

Ring... ring...

Louis, who lost his mobile in the woods, finally found it ringing and took the mobile and saw the caller ID.

He answered the call and placed the mobile to his ear.

His bloody eyes had dark circles under them, indicating he hadn't slept well for the past few days.

In Forks...

"Sir, the call connected."

After the call connected, Sara informed Jojo immediately about it.

Jojo immediately put the call on speaker and started the conversation.

"Is this Louis... we are from DMC."

The room became silent as Jojo started the conversation immediately.

"Yes... yes... please save us, sir..."

Hearing Jojo is from DMC, Louis pleaded desperately, asking them to help them.

"No matter what, your daughter must not find out about this matter, otherwise your family will be in danger."

After calming down Louis, Jojo instructed him not to do anything stupid and to act normal before his daughter until they arrived there and complained to him regarding his daughter's not finding out about this matter.
