Later before dawn.

Jack decided to check the specializations before everyone got up for the morning. So he clicked "???" next to his race

-Increase energy costs when multiple people are near.

-Decrease cost when someone is alone.

Poltergeist

-decrease energy costs when using physical paranormal phenomena.

-Grants telekinesis to produce physical phenomena.

Phantom

-Will induce more fear when scared by the phantom.

-Grants possession capabilities costing energy per second. Note: making someone do something they will normally not do will increase costs exponentially.

Demon

-Touching will inflict physical harm

-Grants increased regen for draining people and will cause the target to become angry and more violent.

As Jack read through the window he immediately crossed out the demon specialization, for now, He doesn't want to hurt this family even if they give him diabetes with their wholesomeness.

'The obvious choice is phantom, I need to level up more than anything right now.'

Thinking so Jack doesn't second guess his choice and chooses it immediately.

After Jack chose he felt like he grew a third limb and instantly knew how to use it to possess people.

' So weird, by the way, what time is it?' Jack thought as he started looking for a clock or something. not finding anything in the living room he thought to go to the kitchen to check the microwave.

As Jack moved there he saw it was just about 6 a.m.

'They should be waking up here soon.' Jack returned to the hallway and decided to just wait there while watching the television.

A little while later.

Sarah groggily woke up. and checked the time. She saw it was half past 6 and groaned. She has to wake David, He has work soon and she had to prepare breakfast, and since it's a weekday a PB&J lunch bag for Angelica as she promised last night.

She stretched, got up, did her business in the bathroom, and then got changed. As she finished she started getting closer to the door she noticed the television was on. Confused, she swore she turned it off last night. It couldn't have been David, she would have felt him get up. She recognized the sound of one of Angelica's favorite shows.

'I swear if that girl got up in the middle of the night I'm going to spank her.'

Sarah thought as she opened the door and walked to the living room entryway closing the door behind her to not wake David. She turned the light on and saw no one. Suspicious she went down the hall to Angelica's room and opened the door to peek inside.

Seeing Angelica sleeping soundly she wondered if maybe a neighbor's remote is affecting their television as she walked to the living room and turned the television off.

Meanwhile, Jack is appreciating the morning eye candy. He watched her start making breakfast and lunch boxes for father and daughter bending and reaching, She showed off all those sweet curves.

Soon breakfast was done so she set the table and walked to her bedroom door.

"David, wake up it's almost 7:30."

Sarah walked to David's side and shook him while speaking.

"I'm up. I'm up. five more minutes." David mumbled. Sarah hears this and sighs exasperatedly. David is always slow to wake in the morning. She left to wake Angelica up.

Jack seeing this decided to scare David. He walks up to David's side leaning next to his ear.

"Hey" Jack speaks in the deepest voice he can.

"Who!?!?!" David not expecting a man's voice instantly woke and quickly looked around. Not seeing anyone he thinks maybe it was a dream.

"Ow." Seeing David pinch himself, Jack started laughing, and then he checked his status and saw a 15% increase making his total experience 40%.

' Not bad for a quick scare. '

Jack thought even though the energy that he had just got back is emptied now.

David was now completely awake after the spook decided to go to the kitchen for breakfast. So he did his business in the bathroom and got dressed, he exited the bedroom, and made his way to the kitchen.

As he entered the kitchen he saw the table set so he sat down in his seat waiting for his wife and kid. no one touches the food before everyone is seated.

"Good morning, daddy!"

"Morning, honey."

A few minutes later Angelica rounded the corner with Sarah in tow looking tired in comparison to Angelica's morning energy.

"Good morning, ladies. mwah." David happily said as he stood up to receive a hug from Angelina kissing her forehead and then a hug from Sarah right after.

The family sat down at the table with Jack watching the happy family from the side enviously.

He can't even do anything to vent because he doesn't have much energy.

"Dear I think the television is being turned on by a neighbor's remote or something because it was on when I woke up earlier."

David hearing his wife speak about the television turning on again gets suspicious. One or two times can be a coincidence but combined with the light turning off and the voices he heard from nowhere, It's starting to add up.

He doesn't want to jump to conclusions and seem crazy and embarrass himself. Let alone bring up his theory with Angelica here. He doesn't want to scare her.

"I told you I turned it off yesterday before we left." Said David who responds teasingly and smiles at her.

Sometime later the family has finished breakfast and are all doing their morning routine.

David is getting ready for work, and Sarah is getting Angelica ready for school.

"Honey I'm leaving!" David yells as he walks toward the door.

"Don't forget your lunch on the kitchen counter!" Sarah yells back making David stop in his tracks and walks back to the kitchen grabbing his lunch box before heading to the door again.

"Thanks for reminding me!" Hearing him say thanks and leave Sarah smiles as she helps Angelica dress.

"Go grab your lunchbox on the table sweetheart, don't be forgetful like your father."

Hearing her mother Angelica rushes to the kitchen and grabs her lunch box before rushing back to her mom waiting for her at the door.

"Come on mommy will wait at the bus stop with you." Said Sarah while smiling at the energetic little girl before opening the door while walking out and closing it behind them.

Jack watched this having no idea what he should do. Being a ghost isn't that great when he can barely interact with the world of the living.

'I wonder if Sarah will come back, it might not be too bad if she's here at least ill be have some enjoyment.' Just as Jack had this thought, he suddenly realized he hasn't tried to go out of this place.

'Well, no time like the present.'

Just like that Jack decided to go through the door.
