"What's the plan?"

Watching from the wall, I shivered at the thought of meeting those enemies head-on. I won't say I'm confident dealing with this situation.

The Abyss Order is going all out this time. How could they not be, their goal is within their sight.

"Defend," Rizark replied condescendingly staring at the distance.

"Rizark, The reinforcement will arrive in two days," Lisa said.

"We are in a tight situation. The Abyss Order has the City surrounded." Hertha.

"Captain Hertha, when did these troops arrive? Seeing the number they would need time to arrive here right?" Amber asked.

What she said makes sense. It wasn't long since we defeated the blockade, they shouldn't be able to respond quickly. I was so worried that I didn't think hard about the matter.

I don't know myself. Shaking my head, my aching head calmed down as I saw Eula safe and sound.

I approached her, grabbed her hand, and interlocked it with mine. Amber hugs her other arm.

"They arrived at midnight," Hertha replied not knowing what we were thinking.

"Captain Rizark, Captain Hertha, and Eula I have information about the Abyss Order." I suddenly spoke.

"What is it, Ronan?"

"The Abyss Order can revive themself..."

"!!!"

The three looked at me with a shocked expression. Amber and the others nodded after hearing that, they also were shocked after learning the information.

"Is that true?"

"Yes, remember the Pyro Abyss Mage?" I turn my head to Eula. She nodded as she gripped my hand tightly.

"That Abyss Mage is one of the Abyss Mages blocking the road. You see, I can understand any language at least that's what I've known so far. To what extent can I understand, well it appears I can understand Abyss Order language or Hilichurls language."

I spoke with confidence. I mean why would I keep it a secret when Amber said others like me have supernatural abilities?

I recounted the part where I lured the Abyss Mage to spurt nonsense. Hertha and Eula cried out that the Abyss Mage doesn't know how to keep secrets, and such people should be punished severely.

"That's why we are worried that Calla is in danger."

"Seeing that they are not attacking yet proves that the Pyro Abyss Mage wasn't resurrected yet." Rizark rubs his beard.

"Probably, that will give us time. But that's it if that Abyss Mage revived before our reinforcement, we will be forced to defend. Most of our soldiers are normal people without vision. We are at a disadvantage."

Hertha reported the overall situation. The morale of the knights and soldiers was low, when I looked around.

She glanced at Rizark.

"Even Rizark's iron-clad voice wasn't able to lift the morale."

"Hmph! Bunch of cowardly maggots! If they cannot face such a situation, how long are they able to last? Their Freedom is crumbling!"

Rizark cursed loudly, some knights who heard that trembled.

"I'll have to implement a good training regime after this. To think I have cowards in my army. That wouldn't do.." Grinning evilly, Rizark's eyes turn ferocious.

The knights nearby who heard it nearly lost their balance and almost fainted. The training is already harsh and you want to add more? Just kill us!

"In the end, we can't just be sitting ducks. Is there any plan?" Lisa asked she looked around to find some answers.

I raised my hand. I know I cannot face the enemy head-on, that's stupid. I was forming a plan in my mind.

"Captain Hertha, Do you have a map of the current situation? Where do the enemies lie?"

Hertha nodded as she took out a map. She handed it to me. The map wasn't big, but it was just around the city. There are marks where the Abyss Order resided.

I pondered for a while, I approached Lumine to talk about something.

"Lumine, do you have any teleport waypoint around this part!" I pointed somewhere on the map.

Lumine confused nodded, she pointed at the map where she had acquired the waypoints during her free time. Some parts were vital to the plan I formed but she did not have any waypoints there. I'll just put it in the unfortunate category.

"Lumine is there any limit can you teleport in a day?"

"No, the only limit is the number of people I can take with me. I'm not using the Starlight, the waypoints are connected to leylines and leylines have infinite energy." She explained to me. I smiled widely.

"Can I kiss you?" I whispered.

"...Don't joke around."

The two of us were talking privately behind the wall as I didn't want others to know Lumine's secrets.

"I'm not joking, I'm just overjoyed... Lumine your ability to teleport is very helpful. I know this sounds not very good for you but I want to use your ability to turn this disadvantageous situation upside down."

"You know, I'm always glad to help."

"I know, you are a very good girl. That's why I'm very afraid of tainting you."

Lumine looks at me softly. "You are very honest."

"I'm always honest with you. As your companion, I will not lie to you."

Showing my teeth with a big smile. True to my words, I made a promise to not lie to her. No matter how stupid or shameful it is, I will tell her. Where did unfounded trust come from? Who knows, I always follow my instinct.

"I will do the best of my ability."

"Great!"

I almost screamed.

"Can I still kiss you?"

Lumine averted her eyes. Face flushing red "Are you still into that?"

"Hehe." Scratching my cheek. I shrugged.

She shakes her head. She turns her head to the side. "You can do it on my cheek."

Grinning, I push my lips on her lovely cheek. Wrapping my arms around her body, as I embrace her tightly. With a smack of the lips, I let go of her.

"Let's go. Time for a great show."

In war what's the most effective method to fight against an advantageous enemy?

Guerilla warfare.

In modern times it's called Never let them guess your next move. Because this battle is not about who is stronger, but who is smarter.

Number one plan. Lure the enemy, making a part of the enemy troops into a trap. But never let them know it's a trap.

How?

I'll be the one to shame myself in this part. I will become a wood logger who cannot return in time.

"HEEELLLPPP ME! ANYONE! HAAAA HAAAAA why is this happening to me?" snots and tears covered my dirty face. Ragged clothes with my tears. I continue to run and stumble.

"Hahahaha Poor human. Your out of luck!" laughter sounded from behind. It was an Abyss Mage snickering a laugh out of my ass off.

It was toying with me. It never took me seriously. Behind it is a bunch of Mitachurls and co. Following their leader.

A small number, I thought. But I was never discouraged. This is only the first part. Laugh all you want, because I will be the last one to laugh.
