"WRRRRRAAAAAHHHHH!!!!" Osial roared before firing the charged up beam at the falling meteor.

*BOOOOMMM!!!!*

The meteor was slowing down but it was not slowing down enough. It was still charging towards Osial's seven heads.

Osial put more of his power into the beam.

"RAAAAAAAA!!!!!!" He screamed before the slowly descending meteor crashed onto his seven heads.

"Grrrrrrrrrr!!!!!" Osial held the meteor with his seven heads and the meteor stopped falling. He then tried to fire a beam at it.

"Watch out for the second one." Aether warned while smirking.

*BOOOOOMMMM!!!!*

A second meteor, even bigger than the first one crashed onto the first meteor and Osial couldn't handle the weight he was holding.

"AGGGGHHHHH!!!!!" Osial screamed at the pain he was feeling. He was carrying too much weight.

Osial's seven heads were pushed back into the water. The meteors created a giant splash and made a giant wave.

"One is going to have so much fun teaching him." Cloud Retainer muttered. Moon Carver nodded in agreement.

The Jade Chamber slowly flew above where the Osial is. Aether still did not get off.

"Why is he not getting off?" Keqing asked while still getting princess carried by Aether.

".... Goodbye old friend...." Ningguang muttered looking down in sadness.

"One senses Tabibito's Will." Mountain Shaper commented.

The Jade Chamber stopped flying. The Jade Chamber had giant cracks everywhere. Only the adepti could see it but they did not say anything.

The Jade Chamber in it's final moments slowly descended.... and descended..... and descended.....

The Osial who recovered from the meteor shower moments ago rose up from the sea water to look up at the perfect moment.

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!!!!*

The Jade Chamber lit up in a giant explosion. Aether may have added his adeptal energy into said explosion to make it more powerful.

"Oh shit! Aether!" Keqing shouted out in fear. Ningguang looked on in shock.She looked back at the clone carrying her.

"Oh, thank Rex Lapis." She muttered breathing a sigh of relief.

"H-hey, where's the real Aether?" She asked the emotionless clone. The clone looked at her and smiled a little. He kissed her forehead.

"He'll be fine. You just have to look cute." The clone said. Ganyu blushed a deep shade of red and wished she could just stay in this position forever.

The smoke was immediately cleared out by a flap of Cloud Retainer's wings. The clouds were parted and they can see the clear blue sky and the orange sun again.

"But where's Aether?" Keqing asked getting worried every second that Aether was not in front of her.

"Oh damn." Mountain Shaper whistled looking at the sea. There was Aether in the sea, slowly walking up to them. His clothes were soaked to the brim and he had a grin on his face.

Aether got closer to them and stopped moving. Everyone was waiting for himeto say something. Aether raised his hands and gave them a thumbs up and grinned brightly.

The Qixing smiled, Ganyu had a sigh of relief, the adepti nodded their heads. Xiao huffed and looked away.

"Are you okay?" Ningguang asked him.

"Yeah I'm fine. That dive I took was pretty fun." Aether said smiling a little. Ningguang nodded and smiled back.

"Idiot." Xiao muttered. Aether chuckled.

"Still looking cute." Aether muttered back. Xiao blushed and growled at him.

"Well done mortal, you've done well. But one noticed that you have something missing." Cloud Retainer said looking at Aether's waist. Aether looked down and shook his head.

"Enma's still here. But in order to make the Jade Chamber go down I had to plunge my other sword into it. It's destroyed now. There's no saving it." Aether said.

"Losing one's weapon is like losing one's family. " Keqing said. Aether nodded.

" It has defended me from multiple battles with a dragon. Hah, destroyed by a falling palace. That's a good memory to laugh at. " Aether said and chuckled. No one found it funny.

Far away, at Yujing Terrace.

" The young man has done it, Morax. " Madame Ping said to the retired god. Zhongli nodded and sipped some tea from his cup.

" As expected. Why didn't you join the battle, Madame Ping?" Zhongli asked the old adeptus. She chuckled.

"These old bones are too much to handle. A battle will be like the world on my shoulders. One part is to make the adepti and the mortals see past their differences and actually work together for once. I already acknowledge the mortals, so there's no need for me to be there. Now it's their turn to do the same. " Madame Ping explained her reasons.

"Well I think that worked wonderfully. Did you sense Aether's adpetal energy reserves? " Zhongli asked while finishing his cup of tea.

" Yes, it was a surprise for me and you to see a mortal wielding that divine energy of the adepti. My guess is that the adepti will take interest in him now." Madame Ping poured more tea for herself and her old friend.

"If not then I will. That power has to be controlled. His body is not ready for the energy. I don't need to talk about his mental fortitude. Both of those need to be heavily trained before he could even use that energy properly." Madame Ping declared.

"Aether is a mortal. Mortals can't use that energy for long. Their life will be shortened if they overuse it constantly. We sensed his heart stopped in the middle of that battle. " Zhongli said with concern in him.

"That is also a problem. Well, we shouldn't discuss this that much. I fear that if we touch this topic for too long, one of us will decide to make the mortal a god. I'm looking at you, Morax." Madame Ping eyed him suspiciously.

"Hah! A funny idea. Making a god at this age? The world will be in an outburst. But that would never happen." Zhongli laughed. Madame Ping raised her eyebrows at Zhongli.

" Please do not make him a god. But if you do, don't let him take your place." Madame Ping sighed in defeat.

" Who says I will make him a god? To do that, he needs to earn his place like the Archons did." Zhongli said sipping his tea.

Back at the beach. Aether was being slapped by Xiao. She had grabbed his collar and proceeded to 'beat the stupidity out of him'.

" Baka. Baka. Baka. "Xiao muttered while slapping him. Aether had covered adeptal energy into his face but that didn't do shit.

" Okay. Stop it Xiao. Don't kill our new student. " Cloud Retainer said placing a hand in between them.

"Our?" Mountain Shaper raised his eyebrow at her.

"Yes, our student, brother." Cloud Retainer said and placed her wing on Aether's head. He felt his whole energy being rejuvenated.

"There we go." She muttered.

*GROWLLLLLLL!!!!*

Aether and Ganyu looked at their stomachs. Ganyu blushed im embarrassment while Aether snickered.

"Lunch? Anyone? I know a good place." Aether suggested.

"Where, mortal?" Mountain Shaper asked.

"Wanmin Restaurant." Aether said. Cloud Retainer widened her eyes in realization.

"Ahhh, the place where Marchosius works now. That restaurant, Rex Lapis always preferred it when he visited the Harbor. We adepti didn't see why he liked it." Cloud Retainer said.

"Well, it isn't too late to try something new." Moon Carver said and the adepti from Jueyun Karst disappeared to Wanmin Restaurant.

Before Xiao was about to disappear with them, Aether grabbed her hand.

"Yeah no you're staying with us." Aether said.

"Get your hands of me, mortal!" Xiao warned. Aether teleported along with the clones that were still carrying the Qixing and Ganyu.
