24. No Return Phantoms

After Meixiang provoke them, she calmly turn her head and took her steps toward the entrance of the cave.

The young man also in white robes exited the cave. When he saw the other party's identity, he was frozen to the ground until he heard Meixiang's low voice.

"The shadow is a fiend. We will seek light."

The young man in white frown not understanding Meixiang's words until MeiMei and Shi Jinhai state the same words one after another.

"The shadow is a fiend. We will seek light."

When he understood what the other party is trying to do, he followed suit.

The young man didn't respond more and guide Meixiang and the others to enter the cave. They then entered the cave leaving the people in shadows dumbfounded at what they have just witness.

To be honest, they are not sure of what they have just seen. They doubted more at what is the identity of the young man wearing mask. This is the result Meixiang wanted to receive from the powerful figures lurking in the shadows.

These powerful people from the Central are smart and careful enough not to attack the people inside the cave without knowing their identity. Now, they would be more careful of their action after what they have just witness.

First, Meixiang intimidated the viewer's cultivation with Shi Jinhai's commander level strength. Second, she wanted them to doubt her and MeiMei's real strength. She hides her cultivation while they can't feel MeiMei's fluctuation of qi simply because she is a phantom creature. Shi Jinhai, a commander level cultivator as a mere follower of a little boy without fluctuation of qi would make them doubt her and MeiMei's identity and strength. Third, Meixiang simply fabricate a statement that looks like it's a code of their fake organization. Lastly, the exchanges of Meixiang and the young man strengthen their assumption that their fabricated organization is indeed a powerful one.

Black Mione Metal to just simply give to their outer disciples is not an ability of an unnamed organization right?

While the powerful figures outside the cave are questioning their strength, Meixiang is satisfied to the view she is seeing. She is checking out the enermous resources of black mione metal and different kinds of crystals. Meixiang nodded too satisfied and look at the young man in white and his party. Fifteen Black Deon Gophers, stage three spiritual beasts. Their leader is now on his fourth stage while the rest are still on their third stage of cultivation. The other five cultivators are with unique identities. They are called unsummoned back phantoms or no return phantoms.

Meixiang summon BaiBai who hurriedly stand at the side of MeiMei hiding at the back of Meixiang when he sees the other party.

The phantom plant that is in his little boy appearance step forward calmly walks toward Meixiang. "The little girl must have something on her possession to wave two phantom plants interest."

"If not agreed, we can all die here in the hands of those people outside. Your group must already know their existence that is the reason of the show you put off in the past few days."

The Black Deon Gophers and the four other phantoms look at the phantom little boy who stands as the leader of their team, the little boy nodded.

Meixiang stated once, "Then senior must wanted to see Little Meixiang's possession first?"

The little boy once again nodded.

"Meixiang would appreciate if senior's company would be instructed first."

The little boy understood. He then warned his companions. "No one will act rashly."

Meixiang smiled and wave her hand to summon the little boy inside the sacred book.

The phantom beast squinted his eyes and his fangs are showing. He is angrily looking at Meixiang. The young man is calmer and tried to calm the phantom beast.

GuoGuo seeing this scene, his cute face frown and pull the hem of Meixiang's sleeve. "Bis Sister, I don't like that boy. Big sister MeiMei should also not like sharing with him."

Meixiang just helplessly smiled and pat GuoGuo's small head. "Our resources are abundant. It is enough for all of you. GuoGuo must not worried."

GuoGuo's small cute face make a complicated face, "But---but what if Big Sister MeiMei will be irritated with their presence?"

Meixiang understood what's with GuoGuo's reaction.

MeiMei who is with low EQ just calmly stated, "I wouldn't mind."

Meixiang just chuckled and weakly patted the two little heads.

She then turn her head towards the other party and summon back the little boy.

When the little boy appeared, his face is still calm but his eyes are no longer gloomy. He raise his head and look at Meixiang and said "State your arrangement."

Meixiang smiled looking at the unending resources inside the cave. "Meixiang wanted all this resources. In exchange, seniors and your companions are to be covered by this Little Meixiang."

The two phantom weapons can't verbally state their emotions, but the pressure they are releasing is obvious of disagreement with Meixiang's words. The phantom beast and the young man also frown with Meixiang's words. But these reactions are only ignored by the little boy who agreed in just a second after Meixiang stated her proposal.

Meixiang smiled. GuoGuo frown. MeiMei didn't care at all and so with Shi Jinhai.

The little boy's companions wanted to speak but knowing their leader's ability, they can only get curious of what did the little girl show to him to surrender the abundant resources of spirituality they just found out a year ago.

The little boy instructed his team to prepare all the resources while he's having a conversation with Meixiang.

Meixiang then know how the group have been thru.

After the war, the summoners summoned them died. They barely survived.

The little boy is named Lotus. When the war ended, he started to look for survivors and brought two unsummoned phantom weapons from the battlefield. The sword phantom is named Guang while the bow phantom is named Wuxian. A year later, they cross path with unsummoned phantoms like them named Kiwi and Huangye. Kiwi is a phantom plant while Huangye is a phantom beast with a body of an jaguar and his teeth are made of the highest quality of jade that had never existed in this realm.

The war happened in the higher realm naturally they are from higher realm and only travelled here to the lower realm. The reason behind this is danger brought by the abundant qi in the higher realm. Although they indeed need abundant resources to cultivate, it also put them into danger as they are still weak at that time. They then decided to travel to lower realm and continue their cultivation.

Because a phantom creature is with different body constitution, their cultivation is much slower to ordinary cultivators so even after thousands of years they only reach this level of cultivation.

Only last year, they accidentally found this hidden place with enermous resources. They work with it and after eight months they unlock the place. Unlocking this place is also with the help of the group of the black deon gophers who are now part of their team.

Three days passed and the resources are now all ready. Meixiang then hide the spiritual metals and crystals inside the sacred book. She then next look at the phantoms and the group of black deon gophers.

"The groups outside is undoubtedly persistent."

The group of no return phantoms are not worried at all with the party outside as they all know a single phantom creature on its peak strength can take care of them.

Meixiang although knows MeiMei can take care those people alone, she don't wanted to kill them here least now. They are here to train inside the White Forest for half a year, if the people from Central didn't go back from their mission here, others would naturally follow that would put the situation uncontrolled.

"HuaHua need not to worry. TaoTao, Guang, Wuxian, Huangye, and the black deon gopher family just need to relax inside the sacred book. GuoGuo will take them for a tour, right GuoGuo?"

GuoGuo pouted looking at the Little Boy Lotus who is the same height as his and to Meixiang's face again. GuoGuo nodded against his will. Meixiang smiled petting GuoGuo. After a while she summon them inside the sacred book leaving her, MeiMei and Shi Jinhai inside the now empty cave.

Meixiang wears the white mask and then nodded to MeiMei and to Shi Jinhai. The three of them exited the cave walking in the same set up when they entered the cave. Meixiang followed by MeiMei on her right side and Shi Jinhai on her left.

The three of them stopped walking when a group of men on their armour walks toward them. Leading this team are three magicians and two martial artists.

Meixiang is not surprise with their presence. The majority of the group of men are lower than sixth stage naturally she already felt their presence. She only knew the other cultivator's presence when her Uncle Shi Jinhai inform her. So seeing this group doesn't surprise her at all.

These human sacrifices will also use by them for their advantage.

Looking at the symbol of Wei Kingdom, Meixiang can't help but curve her lips. Ofcourse one of the group from capital informed the Wei Kingdom to test the water first.

They should not disappoint their viewers right?

The man who seems on his late 40's step forward and stare at Meixiang's eyes smiling slyly, "The Wei Royalty received a news of the resources inside the White Forest under the jurisdiction of the Wei Kingdom. Seeing the other party getting out where the resources are hidden, under the power of the Wei Royalties, this commander in chief wanted to invite the young master to the palace."

Shi Jinhai released a pressure towards the soldiers from the Wei Kingdom.

The pressure released by him affects even the five leaders but they still supported themselves while the other soldiers with low cultivation almost kneel to the ground.

The man who step forward still retain his smile. "A pressure of a commander level is indeed not to be ignored. A pity the Wei Kingdom is not to be trifled. A five nine level cultivators fighting against a single commander level, I'm afraid the result wouldn't favor the young master's side."

When they received the news about the black mione metal, they are also warned about a cultivator higher than a ninth stage practitioner. That is the reason the Wei Royalties call out almost all the ninth stage cultivators of the kingdom and sent them to the location in the letter. When Shi Jinhai released his pressure, they confirmed his level of culticvation.

Meixiang chuckled when he heard the man's words. She leisurely wave her hand. Shi Jinhai then stop releasing a pressure. Meixiang spoke.

"You are still weak. Once you reach a higher cultivation you can be train by this young master personally."

The men sent by the Wei Royalties who heard this almost choke.

What weak? Who's weak? Those words are not coming from a young man without cultivation right?

The cultivators hiding in the shadows observing from the sideline gulp. They will also find the young man's words unbelievable but seeing the situation three days ago, they are doubtful about the real strength of young man in white mask.

The man, from Wei Kingdom who step forward first, chuckled after hearing Meixiang's words. The soldiers at the back also laugh.

But those laughs are to be cut off when a gust image runs towards their direction.

At the middle of the forest, silence enveloped the place when the bodies of the ninth stage cultivator and almost all the soldiers' dead bodies knocked off to the ground.

Everyone gulp with this change of situation. Even Shi Jinhai and Meixiang was surprised with this. Everyone is now looking at the small stature of the little girl MeiMei who is now walking slowly towards Meixiang.

Meixiang who recovered first, chuckled. That small laugh cause a chill to the onlookers. When MeiMei arrived at Meixiang's right side, Meixiang lying without blinking an eye she stated calmly, "MeiMei is still weak. But the improvement is great. This young master's time isn't put into a waste at all."

"Little MeiMei thanks the young master's guidance."

Shi Jinhai who knows everything, can't help but twitch the side of his lips. This pair formulating lies are too harmonious right?

The onlookers on the other side are long gone horrified with the situation. When the little girl make her move, they don't even notice it and even feel a fluctuation of qi inside her. With the young man in white mask words, they are more horrified. If the little girl is weak, then him...they can no longer imagine the strength of the young man in white mask.

"Let's spare their lives. When we encounter them again, kill."

Shi Jinhai sigh mentally. This is the first time he pity the people from the central. Even his late master, Dan Feihan, didn't scare these people to this extent.

The soldiers look at them hesitantly. Shi Jinhai who have a big heart signal them and also the spectators hiding from the shadows.

Everyone took their leave even with their trembling legs as fast as they could. They are afraid the powerful young master would change his mind. Because of Meixiang's words, they are smart enough to get out of the White Forest and not return forever.
