The Tian brothers called out as they bowed, Tian Ying had a mischievous and seductive smile and Tian Han had a charming and beautiful smile, she could never really understand how she could differentiate them, they both looked exactly alike.

Zhou Lan dismissed Rei and came to the group with a large and satisfied smile that seemed to highlight her pretty features. Nagini peeped out and put his heads back In her sleeves deciding to sleep and not to be bothered by the mortal world. Liu Lian would never get used to the feeling of the cold and smooth reptile against her skin.

"Tian Ying, Tian Han" Liu Lian said in acknowledgement slightly tilting her head to the both of them to show respect. The two smiled slightly surprised she could differentiate them, naturally when it came to identical twins if they decided to swap wives for a day no one would notice.

"Your dress is simply stunning" Tian Ying said as he eyed the delicate gold embroidery on the edges, "Would like make a deal."

"A deal?" Liu Lian asked not knowing what will come out of this, maybe they wanted her to give them the dress? But surely they don't need it, even if they wanted to sell it she doubted anyone would buy it.

"We are merchants, we work with money, you designed this dress right?"

"So?" Liu Lian asked with a finely crafted smile on her face, so what if she designed it? Either way if they wanted to profit off the dress it won't be cheap.

"We want to sell your line to the public."

"Oh really? I'll take 70% of the profit."

The Tian brothers found themselves frowning, this was the first time a girl dared to ask for that amount of money, isn't she afraid that people would think she was greedy and her character was lacking? They were business men, they would naturally only accept 50% or more, they could easily take up another clothing line. However, if this line sold as well as they expect then 30% would be a lot of money without a doubt.

Tian Han reluctantly nodded and Liu Lian smiled, this would be a good way to gather money. She was greedy, money was something she loved to have all the time who cares if the world noticed her greedy ambitions? When she's swimming in gold coins she would be the one deciding their fates.

The party carried on and the guests were moved to the Princess's beautiful gardens for the last remaining hours. Servants set up various cushions so the guests wouldn't feel any discomfort, even if they did they wouldn't have any room to complain. Everyone had realised just how precious the princess was to the Emperor, who dared to complain if they were unhappy? They didn't want to court death.

The garden was naturally big enough to contain all those people, the older women gathered around the Empress and complimented her while the men drank fine wine with the Emperor. The girls closer to the princess's age hovered around her like butterflies that were attracted to flowers. Zhou Lan was supposed to show these group of girls around her garden, accompanied by pretty palace maids who could tend to their ever needs. Liu Lian was looking forward to it because in her past life she had never seen such a grand place at all, she had instead lived in a city that had grey and dull compared to such works of nature.

She didn't even bother to acknowledge the glares some of the girls gave her because she gave the best birthday present, she just chatted away with the Tian brothers about her new line she wanted to call Yin and Yang. It would essentially only be black and white clothes decorated with gold and beautiful onyx gems.

She even knew the perfect person to model the first line!

"Liu Lian!"

Their conversation was soon interrupted by princess Zhou Lan who briskly walked over to them smiling. She stood beside them and with a smile on her face she whispered to her friend, "I'm sorry for interrupting you I just needed to get rid of those leeches."

Liu Lian giggled, it seemed like the princess didn't enjoy being the center of attention, that night at her celebration party the princess had seemed so strong, and arrogant, but she was just a normal girl in the end.

"Come on, lets go on our walk, leave the merchants to their stocks." She said not taking down her smile.

Liu Lian bowed slightly towards the boys and accompanied Zhou Lan on the walk.

The group of dainty noble ladies and their maids followed behind them unable to strike up a conversation because Liu Lian and Zhou Lan looked too harmonious for them to interrupt. What luck did Liu Lian have to obtain such favours from the royal family?

It was completely infuriating!

Meanwhile the men stayed behind in the hall and as they chatted among themselves the doors swung open and a young handsome man stood at the door. His head of white flawless and beautiful with a perfectly chiseled skin and jade like skin along with seductive eyes that even made some of the men blush.
