Vol.3 Ch.2.1: Berlium, Heart of the Goddess

Surrounded by a large group of soldiers, Victoria had nowhere to escape, the young girl tugged in her right arm and started to whine. While comforting the girl, a man in a cape with heavier armour on walks toward them.

"W...What are we going to do..." the young girl shivers in fear.

"Just stay behind my back," Victoria insists as she pulls the girl behind herself.

The man seems to be the commander of these bloodthirsty soldiers, he looks down at the dead man crop which was killed by Victoria and kicks the body in one blow as it rolls to the other side of the lawn.

"Hmph, good for nothing. The empire won't have weaklings like you to be in our army, such an insult," he said and splits on the body as it gives a huge shiver to the girls. He turns his gaze to Victoria. From the unfamiliar appearance of herself, the commander laughs so hard.

"What's so funny? You think you can take me down with all your soldiers you got?" Victoria askes.

The commander smiles, "Well well, look what we have here... two pretty girls in front of my sight. Just surrender your weapon beauty and we will spare your life too along with that girl behind you."

From this tense moment, Victoria knows that man is actually lying. By looking around, she sees numerous buildings around and her mind flickers with a plan. She pretends to be scared by the huge group of soldiers, "And if I don't?"

The commander walks slowly towards Victoria as he tries to touch her cheeks, "If you don't, we will take you by force and be our slaves."

When he finishes, the young girl sees Victoria mumbles something and notices something appeared in her right-hand plum, a small round ball covered in sackcloth. She raises her right arm and throws the ball onto the ground, in seconds, the ball explodes with a blast of white smokes. The soldiers including their commander cough through it until the smokes are gone, with their surprise the girls are gone.

"For devil sake! They escaped!" The commander shouts.

"Where could they have gone?" Asks one of the soldiers. As they look around, they hear a loud shouting voice above them.

"Yoho, idiots." It was Victoria's voice and she is on a... rooftop of a house with a weird-looking object in front of her, a short cylinder rod with three legs on it (actually is a German machine gun from the First World War).

The men look at her in surprise eyesight with their mouth wide open, without hesitation, Victoria tells the girl behind her, "Cover your ears." As the girl does as she said, Victoria clocks the machine gun and fires it with red tracers sweep onto the ground.

In the end, the soldiers were nowhere to run but faced the judgment from heaven. The girl looks at the dead bodies with astonishing glace on Victoria, she has never seen a girl can wipe out all of the enemies at once.

After the soldiers are defeated, Victoria and the girl rush to the cages and free the villages. At the moment they open the cages, villagers are flooded in front of Victoria to thank her, but in a short moment, she feels unease and falls onto the ground. The voice around her is getting dimmer and dimmer.
