Chapter 40: I'm a Person From the Future

Inside the Gantz Room.

Kurono appeared with Shinozaki still hugging him tightly. As soon as the two appeared, all three girls in the room; Kishimoto, Sakuraoka, and Reika stared at Kurono with a frown in their face.

"Ah! Where are we?" Shinozaki who was new to the place, looked at the surrounding and asked warily. Suddenly, she saw Reika and become a bit timid. She hurriedly let go off Kurono,and stood at the side. "Reika-san, this is not what you think it is."

Kurono almost facepalmed when he heard this girl, while the three girls stared sharply at Kurono. Kishimoto asked, "Ku ro no! Who is that girl? How did he get here? Did you kill her?"

All the other Gantz Fighters also looked seriously at Kurono.

"Leader, this...did you force her?" Sakurai suddenly acted warily at this leader. However, he become confused. "That's not right. That's girl is fully clothed."

"Maybe he put her clothes back as soon as he heard the ringing on his head." Sakuraoka smiled, and added fire to the flame.

"Hei, Sakuraoka. I'm not that low." Kurono can't help but justify himself.

Shinozaki on the side also tried to convince everyone. "He didn't do anything to me."

Her words relieved everyone. Shinozaki then looked at Kurono and asked, "Everyone here seems to know you. So, do you know this place?"

"What is this place? Who are you people?"

While Kurono and the gang were having a conversation, a voice interrupted them.

Five man was standing in the room confusedly. They looked at Kurono's groups. One of them asked, "Do you guys know this place?"

Seeing them reminded Kurono of something. He turned to look back, and saw a naked girl was hiding herself, while peeking at them.

In the original story, a group of men kidnapped a girl, and gang raped her inside their car. However, the car got into an accident, and all of them died. Then, the girl and the group of men were brought by Gantz into the room.

Just the thought of these guys forcing their ways to the girl caused Kurono to feel angry at this five men. Another thing that added to his anger is that, these guys and Izumi teamed up and tried to kill Kurono and his team in the original story. These men is not needed in the Gantz, thought Kurono.

With a cold look in his eyes, he hold out his palm and grabbed at the five men.

"What!? What is this?"

"Something is holding on to me. No, it's more like gripping me tightly. Arghh!!"

One of the five man face suddenly paled, and screamed in pain. The other four were stunned at what they saw. They looked at Kurono with some fear. One of them asked, "What...what have you done?"

The one in Kurono's team suddenly felt strange with Kurono's action. Reika said, "Kurono, what are you doing?"

"These people are scums. We don't need such people here." said Kurono. "If you wanted to know why I said this, you can ask the girl at the back. She know these men."

Everyone else looked at the girl who was hiding, with a question mark on their head. Reika decided to ask the girl. The girl at first was scared to tell her story. However, when she saw that the guys who are wearing the special suit seems to care for her, she decided to tell her story.

"These five man kidnapped me. And after that brought me somewhere." said the girl, whose name is Ayaka Uranaka. "In their car, they...sniff...sniff gang raped me."

Tears started to come down of her eyes. She continued, "The car got into accident. after that, I got brought into this room."

After hearing her story, everyone in Kurono's team now understand why Kurono become hostile towards these men.

"I remembered that. So, girl, how does it feel to be gang raped?" said one of the men, called Ueda. The other three, and even the one who was grabbed by Kurono laughed excited at Ayaka.

"I don't like them." said Kishimoto. She looked at the men with cold eyes.

"Kurono is right. We don't need them here." said Sakuraoka. "Better take care off them, before they know more about this place."

"Leader, let me take care of this people." said Sakata, offering to be the bad guy, just to settle these rapist.

"Okay, I'll let you handle them." Kurono nodded and let Sakata do what he want.

Sakata then used his psychic powers to cripple the five scums.

"Argh! My leg...what did you do to my leg?"

"Beat him!"

The other four who was not crippled yet, tried to retaliate. However, they just don't cut out to be Sakata's opponent.

Thud! Pow! Buk!

The first guy who rushed first got punched on his chin, rib, and knocked far, crashing on the wall. The next one, Sakata just grabbed his punch and pulled the hand while delivering a knee strike to the throat of the man. The two guys tried to punch Sakata head. However, they was lifted up on air. Sakata then caught their neck, and slammed both men on to the floor.

The fight only took a minutes, and those five were down on the floor. Sakata then crippled their legs and hands.

"Woah! Sensei, when did you learn the technique that leader have used before?" asked Sakurai, surprised to see Sakata used the Bajiquan technique.

"That move is one of the combat technique in Bajiquan techniques. I asked Kaze to teach me that move." replied Sakata.

It's only been a little over a week since the last Gantz mission. However, the Gantz Fighters already did some good training. Other than the two times they entered into Room of Limit to increase each of their three stats by 20% (10% for each entrance), they also exchanged their knowledge on each of their skills.

This then helped the team to greatly enhance their fighting abilities. Even if the five rapist men tried to fight the weakest one in the team, they will still met the same ending as fighting Sakata.

At this time, the ball played the theme song, and started showing the usual words on it's screen. After that, there was the target of the hunt.

After the target appeared, the ball opened and showed those boxes with suit for the newbie. As for Kurono's team, they are already wearing it.

Kurono then looked at all the girls that related to him, and said, "Let's talk inside. I wanted to tell you all about something."

After that, he and the girls headed into the open room. At the door however, Reika stopped him. She pointed at the naked girl peeking at the door, and said, "She doesn't have anything on her."

Kurono walked to the ball, and took Ayaka's and Shinozaki's suit. He then give Ayaka's suit to Reika, who then handed it to Ayaka, saying, "Hurry, put on the suit."

"You put on the suit too." said Kurono to Shinozaki.

"Why?" the girl asked in confusion. She still didn't know much about the place. There is too many things that she don't understand.

"Just believe me, and put the suit." replied Kurono.

Shinozaki then entered the open room, and changed her clothes into the suit. Ayaka also did the same. After both of them wore their respective suits, Kurono then asked Ayaka to left them, as he wanted to have some private conversation with the girls.

Outside, Sakata and Sakurai looked curiously towards the open room.

"What is leader up to?"

"I think he is trying to solve his matters regarding his relationship to those girls."

"Damn. Leader is really popular with girls. I wish I could be like him." said Sakurai.

"If you wanted to, you can always go pick some girls out there. With your abilities, and your decent face, you should be able to do the same." Sakata suggested his honest opinion.

"On second thought, I don't want to be like leader."

"Because you already have a girlfriend?"

"..."

Sakurai refrained to give his comments.

Kaze just looked at the two silently, and thought that this two really are busy body.

Inside the room, Kurono looked at everyone and saw that they are also looking at him. He then looked at Shinozaki and said, "Shinozaki, let's start with you. You can ask me if you have some questions. However, try making it short."

Shinozaki looked seriously at Kurono, and asked, "Tell me what happening here? What is this place?"

"This place is called Gantz Room. Gantz is the guy inside the black ball, and that black ball is called Black Sphere. Gantz controlled the Black Sphere to replicate some dead people, and brought them to this place.

The replicated people has a bomb planted in their brains, which will explode if we go pass the limit of the hunting area. It's also explode if the bomb carrier expose Gantz to the outside world.

As for why Gantz brought us here, there are two reason. First is to make us fight the aliens that already infiltrated into our Earth. Second is to give us second chance to live again. Us here in this room are only free from Gantz if we collect enough points from killing those aliens." explained Kurono.

"Dead? So, just now when we got transferred from the park, we died?" asked Shinozaki still feeling confused.

"In your case, you didn't die. However, you were brought here when you hold onto me at the time I got teleported here. Right now, the Gantz already planted the bomb in your head like us. So, except you, all of us here already experienced dying or being killed, and then be brought to this place." replied Kurono.

"I...This...all of this stuff still feels confusing to me." Shinozaki said with a blank face.

"That's because you haven't died. For us who already experienced it, we are able to understand this more easily."

Kurono then looked at the other girls. "So, any questions from you guys?"

"I got one. Who is that girl, and what is her relationship to you?" asked Kishimoto, rising her hand.

"She is my classmate, Ryouko Shinozaki. We were out on a date this afternoon. Once the Gantz..."

"Wait wait. Date? You are already dating another girl after our date yesterday?" Reika's expression changed. Her eyes turned a little dim. Just yesterday, she and Kurono was out on a date, and she was really happy. She was even planning on going on another date with him. Now however, she was saddened with this sudden revelation.

Shinozaki on the side felt guilty. She then tried to explain, "Reika-san, I was the one who wanted to go on a date with him. I have long liked him. It was since the time I got into the same class as him. However, I also knows that you and him went for a date.

Knowing so, I still asked him to go on a date with me. I just wanted to resolve my feeling towards him, before letting go of it. It just, we got here so suddenly. It really made me confused."

"Eeh!! You dated her yesterday, and her today? Kurono, you cheated on us!" Kishimoto looked at Kurono with a misty eyes. "Are Sakuraoka-nee and me not enough for you?"

Sakuraoka only looked at Kurono silently. Hearing Kishimoto, Reika and Shinozaki also looked at Kurono with some sadness in their eyes.

Seeing all the plaintiff eyes caused Kurono to sigh heavily. He said to them, "If I tell you that each one of you were my lover?"

"Huh?" The words surprised the girls.

"We 'were' your lover? What do you mean by that?"

"I don't remember falling in love with someone like you in the past." Shinozaki who was having so many questions unanswered still took a time to think back, and didn't remember being in love with Kurono.

Reika and Sakuraoka nodded in agreement to Shinozaki.

"What I mean to say is that, I'm a person from the future."
