Gamer in RWBY

Disclaimer All copyrighted content is the property of its respective owner(s). You know the cliche someguy gets transmigrated and have to be the hero of their own stories right? Well this guy Albus Goodwitch has the LUCK of being transmigrated into the world of Remnant or RWBY a web series show. Knowing the plot and very much lack of faith of the MC of the show he decided to put himself in harms way to hopefully achieve his goals of peace. Fortunately the unlikely Goodwitch didn't come alone as he has the powers of The Gamer to help me out. --- Also first time doing a Gamer Fic so I do hope you don't mind the mistakes I might make along the way.

Chapter 9: Rose Family (2)

~Albus POV~

[Grimm]

Beowolves Lv.18 (1800/1800)

[Grimm]

Beowolves Lv.13 (1300/1300)

Glancing at the Beowolves in front of us I prepare to use Melodic Cudgel at the ready as I prepare to help out. Yang already takes out her weapons as I use my chance to use observe on her.

[I Burn]

Yang Xiao Long Lv.?

Sigh… I still can't see any descriptions yet from viewing them. Still, the hope is there for now though taking care of the Grimm should be the issue here. Aiming at the Grimm Beowolves the one that is Lv.13 I felt calm as Gamer Mind kicked in. Before launching the flares I activated my [Aura] to get the boost of +30.

*Click*

*Bang*

*Bang*

The damage it took was two flares in rapid succession as it hit my target and at the same time, Yang already flew past me using her bracelet shotguns as she went in for close-quarters combat as I aimed my Melodic Cudgel at the best.

[1210/1300 HP]

I didn't bother looking at Yang's opponent as she was clearly busy handling it easily maneuvering and striking with each blow effortlessly making me question just how far do I need to push myself to match up.

"Roar!!"

Not once taking eyes off of my enemy I began to use <Pressure Strike> and specifically aimed it at the eyes as I see a window pop up in front of me doing critical damage to it as I managed to blind the damn beast.

[Critical Hit! 45(11) = -495 HP!]

[Critical Hit! 45(11) = -495 HP!]

Taking a quick dodge out of the way as the Grimm pushed past me and slammed its head at the tree nearby I took the chance to see how much damage it has left. Have to say it will be easy if all enemies are like this.

[220/1300 HP]

Quite the interesting feat this is to see in real life. I guess the LUCK I have translated into critical damage if I attack on a vital area on the body is good to know. Now I know I need to raise my LUCK more.

But first… raising my cane I began to launch rapid-fire at the damn thing till its hit points finally ran all the way to zero. It's better to use <Binding> on the damn thing to keep my targets still after all practice makes perfect.

*Bang*

[<Binding> LEVEL UP]

*Bang*

[Through the use of continuously using a gun to hit your target accurately a skill has been generated.]

[Skill: <Marksmanship> is created.]

Skill List. Marksmanship.

---

<Marksmanship> (Passive) Lv.1 Exp: 0.9%

A marksman is a person who is skilled in precision shooting using projectile weapons to shoot at high-value targets at longer-than-usual ranges. The proficiency in precision shooting is known as a shooter's marksmanship, which can be used to describe both gunnery and archery. The higher the level the more chances of hitting the Target perfectly 10%.

---

When I was finally done I saw the damn thing finally die in peace as I receive the rewards I got from it leaving Yang to see from the sidelines at my ability at work, "Whoa. When you say enemies leave loot you ain't kidding. I mean… aren't Grimm supposed to turn into Dust be gone by the wind not… changed into something else entirely?"

I agree and I love it.

[You gain 13 Exp.]

[1100 Lien]

[Healing Potion (Low)]

Going towards them the Lien I could understand and increases thanks to my LUCK it seems by the amount defeating every foe and now drop other items. Holding in my hand with a surprised tone I told Yang to view it, "Now this is starting to feel like a game. Real god to life HP potion to heal. Huh? Guess I can get drops like these in real life eh?"

Now I can truly appreciate the life I get goodies like these when I kill Grimm and raise my LUCK.

Observe.

---

Item: Healing Potion (Low)

This item helps heal the HP of the target by 500 HP. For the use, it can completely heal all matter of wounds physically any scars or missing limbs all restored by the effects of The Gamer abilities.

---

Hot damn this is a literal gold mine to help people and Faunus with this. Glancing at Yang expecting an explanation I explained to her by word what this item can do, "Yang this item in this small potion heals you by 500 HP. For the use, it can completely heal all matter of wounds physically any scars or missing limbs all restored by the effects of The Gamer abilities."

Her eyes widen at this as I began to place my Healing Potion away into my inventory as Yang admires my power to turn things into games as I collect the Lien, "Ok I know you might have people say this to you… but your power is bullshit."

Yup.

And I'm in love with it.

But still, it did raise my Exp from 42% to 55% after killing that Grimm. Still going to need a way to properly take care of them with some good skills once I develop my skills some more but anyway we both went our way to the path ahead.

Following the path, for a while, I began to finally make our way to Yang's home as she explained to me her home with a grand over the top manner, "Now then Albus welcome to our humble abode! The place where I the great Yang with my cute little sister Ruby live along with our dad Tai here in the open woods!"

So beware of serial killers with a hockey mask. Got it.

The house is a two-story log cabin with what appears to be a sheet metal roof in dull red. The interior of the home features wooden walls and floorboards throughout the house. There is a small wooden porch with a vertical post railing along one side of the home.

Like that Yang invited me inside her home as I began to observe this place as I was somewhat curious of how the MC of their own stories lives in their homes.

The center of the living room is dominated by a light green rug, with a dark green couch and matching chair and a wooden coffee table centered in the rug. Between the couch and chair is an end table with a lamp on it, and at the other end of the couch is Zwei's dog bed.

At the end of the rug is a wooden TV stand with a holographic projector lying on top of it and a potted plant at one end. On the wall behind the TV, the stand is a doorway leading to the kitchen, a large portrait depicting a night scene, and a shelving unit containing numerous books.

To the left of the couch is a large brick fireplace with small pictures on the mantle and a large landscape featured above the grate. To the right of the couch is a corner staircase leading upstairs, with the door to a cabinet and a pair of small landscape pictures underneath.

A low bookshelf and another green rug lie along the wall at the end of the staircase, topped by another lamp. A trio of landscapes are vertically stacked on the wall at the bottom of the stairs.

Behind the couch is the front door. A barrel is tucked in the corner of this wall, next to the fireplace. There are at least three windows in the room, all hung with matching green curtains.

After viewing the living room Yang showed me the kitchen next.

The kitchen is a large room that also doubles as the dining area. It is accessible by a doorway leading from the living room. On the wall to the immediate right of the door is a shelving unit containing various books and another doorway, with a small landscape painting tucked away in the corner. A shovel can be seen leaning against this wall as well.

In front of the archway is a large yellow rug, a mid-sized wooden dining table decorated by a matching yellow table runner and a green bowl containing various fruits, and a pair of chairs with green cushions.

A landscape decorates the wall next to a large window behind the chairs on the wall opposite the archway, with cream curtains, next to a door leading outside. A coat rack is attached to the wall on the other side of the door with two coats hanging from the hooks.

The far end of the room contains numerous benches which wrap around the outer two walls. A large stove sits in the middle of the benches on the side and a sink occupies the center of the other side.

Both are directly beneath a window, though only the stove window is curtained. The wall behind the sink is decorated with a brick-style splashback and also supports five overhead cabinets. A drying rack sits on the right side of the sink. A large refrigerator is tucked in the corner against the wall opposite the sink.

*Thud*

*Thud*

Soon enough we both hear someone coming down the stairs as I already took a guess of what's going to happen next as I prepare my <Orbital Field> at the ready, "Hey Yang you finally home - Albus what are you doing here!"

*Swoosh*

[+1 INT]

That's now 16 points in INT people for guessing what I knew was bound to happen.

Ruby used her semblance to rush towards me but was caught within my <Orbital Field> as I couldn't help but smirk at this as she looked surprised to be in mid-air around my field but was really heavy.

"Ahem!"

That was when the man of the house Tai appeared looking quite angry with me as I was holding his daughters my attention… this doesn't bode well for me, doesn't it?

Well… shit.

*Swoosh*

*BAM*

[<Physical Endurance> LEVEL UP]

Ow…
