ACT I Prologue

The world is currently in advance technological era, AI has advance drastically the same can be said for gaming facilities. People need entertainment, no wonder today's game featuring AI based NPC and ever-expanding world. In the year 2075, the world is not so peaceful, politicians and world leaders took everything seriously competition is everywhere but the good side is average person like me is not affected by their strict game of power.

In the year 2075, nothing much changes to society really. People still go to school, racing for knowledge and dream career. I am not thirsting for that, I enjoy my life take everything with low beats after all this is just a temporary life.

"Hey! Eat quickly I'm not waiting for your dishes. Mom said if I do today's chores I can go to Aya home"

"Huh? Ah, right just a moment..."

Meet my impatience sister, she is my twin. I think she is literally in love with her childhood friend Aya they always together like two kinder joined together forming an everlasting flame. Literally not homo, just good they found this so called soulmates at early age.

"... This video is lit, you see this news Bety they are launching new game console"

"What? I don't care about your damn game console you literally have tons of consoles lying on the ground why botter getting another one. Ugh, why am I the one getting immerse on your chattering. Come on now finish your breakfast quickly, while I'm still in the mood"

She waited beside the counter while tapping the spoons making a loud cling sounds getting more impatience since I just ignored what she just said, she grab a hold of my phone for a moment and just stares menacingly.

"Hehe, right, dishes"

What do I have, I quickly finish my breakfast I don't even know why it took so long while it is just a rice well hard rice since I've been sitting for hours leaving my food on standby, egg, and chicken fillets.

After I finish my breakfast she tosses my phone back to me and I quickly search for the video I watch back then.

"Ah, almost forgot. Always send the homies for latest gaming news especially consoles."

"Yeah, whatever now you are just crazy about this new game console wait until another one releases you will be saying the same thing. Boys will be boys, i guess"

"Only boys understand, Bety. You don't get it this is world-changing invention. Imagine a server not attached to any physical or digital or even needing anything. It just exist there, this device uses the same concept like dreaming. Have you ever experiencing something like dreaming and then meeting a person, a stranger which behavior is not controllable?"

"Dreams, meeting a stranger in my dream. Yeah I do sometimes, I don't know about that but isn't called Nightmares for a reason"

"Well now this person is someone you may know and you dream about the same place, same things, interract there. How cool is that?"

"Huh? You're saying we will be able to meet in dream now?"

"To explain it in a simple manner? Yes, but now it is a game, you are just dreaming there and your mind is playing in this virtual world all of your consciousness. Well, the world is still controlled by the World Masters though so people ability is limited there. A controlled society, fantasy society"

"Hmmph, you fantasy freak it is all you can think abo--"

*Turururu rururu* my phone buzz a weird sounds, a notification from the squad. A message popped saying, "🛒🏢🖥🖱 🕘"

"Shopping cart, tall building, monitor and mouse, space, and clock showing 9 probably today. Hmm... Gaming Market at 9 today huh. No specific location, the usual place then" i murmur loudly ignoring my sister useless complains.

I pack everything i usually bought, my watch, my phone, my large quality speaker which is bluetooth earphones, my empty wallet with cool cards collection, and myself packed with simple clothing and full health bar and hunger bar.

"Bye sis, I'm going out, watch the house for 5 minutes"

"What?! N-noo, I'm supposed to be one that go Aya is waiting for me in her house... H-hey don't ignore me you big dump dummy!"

"New Game Console, here I go. Wait for me new adventure, Game of War"
