Improvements and game event

As the transaction was completed, Mark received a notification from the system that the pills and elixirs were now available in his inventory. He quickly checked and confirmed they were indeed there.

Excited to try out the pills, Mark took one strength enhancement pill and one memory enhancement pill. Within minutes, he felt a surge of energy coursing through the body, and his mind became sharper and more focused.

Mark was amazed by the feeling, despite not gaining exaggerated superpowers like those of movie heroes he still felt a noticeable improvement in his physical and mental abilities.

Having checked the pills effects Mark proceeded to take the remaining pills. However, after a few seconds, his body began to heat up rapidly, to the point where steam was out of his body. At the same time a sharp headache hit him, causing Mark to fall to his knees in agony while clutching his head with both hands and gritting his teeth.

* 15 minutes later *

The pain was too intense to bear, and Mark fainted on the floor, and there was no sound. Fifteen minutes later, he remained unconscious.

As time passed, Mark eventually regained consciousness. His head was pounding, and his body felt weak, but the pain had subsided. Slowly getting up from the floor, he checked the clock on the bedside table. It was already 03:20 in the morning.

Taking a deep breath, Mark assessed the situation and realized he had made a mistake by taking too many pills at once. He took a mental note to be more careful in the future and ask the system beforehand what might happen.

After resting for a while, he got up and checked his inventory. To his surprise, he discovered a new item that he had not seen before, a strange-looking potion with a label that read "Revitalizing Elixir."

- System, what is this? i do not remember buying this.

~ Responding to host question, when the host was pitifully crawling on the floor trying to resist the pain the host asked this system if there was anything in the shop that could help. Unfortunately host, you passed out before drinking the elixir~

- Ahh so that's what happened. I remember now, HOWEVER .... WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY "PITIFULLY CRAWLING ON THE FLOOR" EHHH!? Why did you not warn me before taking all those pills at once.

~ That is not the system duty. The system will only help you improve your game development abilities by releasing missions and rewards~

- Okay, okay. I understand. It was my mistake, and I should have been more careful. Lesson learned. "responded Mark feeling a bit annoyed by the system response"

Mark took a moment to collect himself before drinking the elixir. As he drank it, he felt a cool sensation spread throughout his body, and his strength and energy returned almost instantly. The headache disappeared, and he felt fully revitalized.

Even though he felt better now Mark still decided to take a shower and than go to sleep. He felt that everything in life needs a balance. "It is good to work hard but you also need enough rest" thought Mark on his way to the bathroom.

Ten minutes later Mark came out of the shower , his hair still dripping a few drops of water. If Lily or Mariah were to see Mark right now their jaw would drop to the floor. Mark muscles became more pronounced and his skin was fairer than a woman. The strength pills didn't just increased Mark strength but also eliminated some impurities out of his body, he even looks a bit taller right now.

Next morning Mark woke around 11:00 , he was starved. Apparently the strength pills not only increased his strength but his appetite as well.

- Oh man , i feel like i can eat a hole cow by myself. I need to get some breakfast.

Mark quickly ordered some beef ramen from the Japanese Ramen store and started to get changed for the day.

Not long after he was surprised to receive a mission from the system.

~ Host please check the mission tab, a new mission has been added~

Mark quickly checked and indeed there was a new mission there.

~ Due to the increase in popularity of "Rise of immortals" host please organize an event in the cafe for the players. The event can be a PVP contest, cosplay contest, singing contest, etc. The prizes are provided by the system~

- Oh wow, a contest huh, i guess we gotta have some fun next! - Exclaimed Mark

Mark massaged Adrian about the event date and each contest respectively , as one of the regular players of "Rise of Immortals" Adrian was very active on the game's official forum. Due to the increase in popularity some players took it upon themselves to create a forum for the game.

Adrian quickly shared the news with his friends and guild members, and soon enough, the whole community was buzzing with excitement about the upcoming event.

"As the host of the cafe, it was my responsibility to organize the event and make sure everything goes smoothly. I have to spent the next few days planning and preparing for the event." thought Mark after having sent the message to Adrian.
