Akash: (walking) No way! You serious?

G-one: (smirks)

Akash: You killed him. Amazing! I thought you were still a milk drinking baby but you got a dick.

G-one: You come back to the dick always, dick licker.

Moon was walking a bit ahead of the two with Piyush chatting with him. At the turn, Lavangi and the group shows up.

Lavangi: Good morning guys.

Moon: Hey! morning.

Akash: (jumps toward Lily) My heroine!

Lily: Something stirred you up again?

Akash: (wraps his hand around her neck) You doubt me again cupcake, this time it is my own volition.

Lily: (smiles) Yeah! You are expecting something, right?

Akash: If you insist (whispers in her ears).

Lily: (blushes and pushes him away) You perv. Like I will do something like that early morning.

Akash: Atleast tell me what is the right time for when I deserve it. My brain has worn out waiting for it. Give it to me, or you might not get another chance.

Moon: Look at him hopping around her like a clown (laughs).

Lavangi: As long as she doesn't mind, I think he can do whatever he wants.

Moon: Said like a protective father.

Simar: Like she is ever gonna mind him. She is fond of him, don't you see her smile?

Lavangi: Ya, she is enjoying it. Can't believe people used to call her a nerd years ago.

Simar: Yeah, she has changed. Must be because of him.

Moon: I see, that must be his superpower then.

Lavangi: The lamest superpower which only works on Lily I guess.

Moon: Guys, I am curious.

Lavangi: Yes.

Moon: What is a nerd?

Lavangi and Simar stagger once.

Simar: Astonishing, your remark earlier suggested you knew.

Moon: I just kinda went with the flow there. I felt like nerd doesn't mean a normal person.

Lavangi: That's right. Nerd means who is only interested in studying and doesn't indulge himself in other activities.

Moon: Oh! I never would have thought she was a nerd. She plays football with us. She participates in other activities. You sure she was a nerd?

Simar: She started playing three years ago as of I remember. Before that she kept studying and studying.

Moon: Ohh!

Mia: Hmm! That makes sense why she chose to assign herself to B. Tech.

Lavangi: Ya, it requires more hard work for one to perform more than good in that department.

Moon: Woah! Is it that hard?

Mia: It got many variety of subjects than science department. Don't think she has it easy cause she has chosen computer science. The codings and program designing do push you hard to the limits. As of I heard.

Moon: Well, I am not that good in computer and complicated stuff relating to that but it sounds tough after what you all said.

Lavangi: That's why G-one has to always help you with the system. Get a grip girl, how long are you gonna exploit him?

Moon: I am exploiting him?

Mia: What are you saying? Don't listen to her she is messing with you.

Lavangi: I was just encouraging her to get better with the computers so that she can leave G-one for you.

Mia: (flustered) For, for me. Idiot, I am not even in the computer class. What will I do with G-one?

Moon: You should have told me that you want to learn from G-one too. I will do my best to use computers on my own so that he could show you how to use it too, alright.

Mia: Where is your mind, Moon? I am not in computer class.

Moon: You are not! Well, is it necessary for someone to learn computer only if he or she is attending computer class?

Simar: I don't think so. You can learn outside for extra knowledge regarding the electronic devices. Right, Mia?

Mia: I, I guess. I could.

Lavangi: You go get him girl (swats Mia's back pushing her forward).

Moon: Why get him? He is already behind us, isn't he?

They look at G-one behind Piyush walking in peace. Piyush was dumbfounded to all the conversation that was going on. He was agitated seeing how normal Simar and Lavangi were acting after what they did this morning.

Piyush: (looks into his phone, thinks) Damn, Simar deleted her pic too. I was careless. I should have moved the picture to another folder. Look at them, they are acting like they did nothing. What is this? Are they trying to mentally cripple me? Maybe they are trying to finish me off by making me masturbate to death. Holy shit, they are more formidable than I thought. So they both are working together in this. I knew it. All the deeds they have done by now clearly tell they have been colluding all along. I mean how can they come up with the same idea everytime. Why! Why are they doing this to me? What have I ever done to them? Well, if they are trying to break my braveheart, I will show them who is the lion here (glares at them).

G-one notices Piyush looking at the girls with burning eyes.

G-one: (thinks) Something did happen between them, I am sure of it.

Though Simar and Lavangi were acting all normal, they were self conscious inside.

Lavangi: (thinks) Ahhh! Piyush is looking at me, he is really looking at me. Look at those sharp eyes. Is he checking me out? Must be, after that photo I sent him, he must be curious about my curves. Oh my god! I can't control my excitement. Looks like this is a win.

Simar: (thinks) Whaaat! Who is he looking at? Oh no! Don't look at me, it is embarrassing. But look at me, oh god! I am a mess. I am not sure if I should be embarrassed by him looking at me or be happy about it. (takes a quick look behind) Mother father! What's with that intense look? Is he trying to focus on certain area (pulls her skirt down casually, blushing)? Mummy, looks like this is a win. Even though this idea of yours was a little over board but atleast it got me a victory.

Lavangi and Simar: (look at each other with a smirk and think) Suck on that, my mother's dearest.

A bunch of police cars speed by the group.

Simar: What's the ruckus early morning? Looks like they are petrolling during the daytime as well.

Lavangi: About that, Did you all hear that sound last night?

Piyush, Moon and Akash become alert.

Simar: Oh! It was so loud that it almost caused an earthquake.

Lily: You just heard the sound? Didn't you see the light? It was so amazing, it was piercing all the way into the sky.

Lavangi: Light!! Seems like I missed it.

Simar: I didn't see it either.

Lily: Oops, it was a treat to watch. Almost like a huge tractor beam. What about you Moon? Did you see it?

Moon: Well! Hehe!

Piyush: We couldn't, we were holed up in our rooms last night. So, we just heard the sound, nothing else.

Lily: Oh! It wasn't that big of a deal I guess. Must be some kind of function.

Akash: How long will the people be able to contain their urge to enjoy life, right? Must be someone dying to get married or something. Hahaha!

Piyush: (thumbs up to Akash for diverting the reality)

Akash: (blinks)

Simar: I am surprised that people are still having celebration amidst the lockdown.

Lavangi: Must be some lunatics. I mean, isn't the lockdown for your safety. How will you know if someone gets abducted between all the noise?

Mia: I don't think it was some celebration.

Lily: What do you mean? What else could it be late night?

Piyush: Ofcourse, I bet the sound must be from a DJ or something.

Mia: Actually, I saw an explosion.

Simar: An explosion, then the sound must be from..

Mia: No, it occurred sometime after the sound and that immense light burst.

Lily: Now that you say that, I did notice an explosion as well.

Akash: Must be another fire cracker, you know how they crack fire crackers during weddings.

Mia: How do you know? None of you didn't even see the light or the explosion.

Akash: I..umm. G-one, he was out working at the supermarket. He must know something about.

G-one: (thinks) B..bastard. He sprang back at me atlast.

Mia: You are working at the supermarket?

G-one: (scratches back of his head) Yeah, you see. I needed some money for the rent payment. Piyush and Akash got their sources, but I don't have anyone. So I had no choice but to look for a part time job.

Lavangi: You never told us. How so?

G-one: Well, I didn't know it would come in our exam.

Lavangi: Geez, I know it didn't matter but even though.

G-one: No one ever asked. Why would I bring up some unrelated topic?

Lily: Ok fine, this means you must have seen the light and the explosion.

G-one: Ya, I did. It wasn't very far from the supermarket. I am not exactly sure what caused it, since I came out after the sound of explosion.

Akash: (thinks) That dog, he is lying through his teeths. But that what should be done to keep em out of it.

Mia: The light, it was from the direction of the supermarket too. Did you witness that too?

G-one: Light, oh that. If I remember it right, it was a DJ car, passing by the supermarket. I didn't get a good look at it but I think they were carrying a projecting light on them.

Akash: Oh yeah, that makes sense. DJ cars tend to shoot their lights randomly. You must have seen that.

Lily: But, it was brighter than that of a projection light.

Again a number of police cars pass through.

Lavangi: This doesn't seem petrolling to me anymore. Must be some kind of incident.

Piyush: Look at the time, we will be late. Get lost.

Akash: No joke, hey heroine. Come on.

They run off towards the college. The police were gathering around the different bases that got liberated last night. Many people had their conscious returned. The police kept checking out the bases and the support unit escorted the civilians to the ambulances. DCP Bharat stood before the broken table, looking at the body smashed in with the table and the deads piled up in the corner. He brings down his cap. Behind him, the alive people were being directed outside.

DCP: What tragedy!

Shyam: (standing behind DCP, closes his eyes at sight and tries to hold his stomach in)

Vineet: (approaches) Sir! I am sorry about the losses as well. But their are other matters to attend to.

DCP: Hmm! What is it?

Vineet: Since last night till now, all the people that have been rescued are accounted for.

DCP: Yes, what did you find?

Vineet: For our surprise, about all of the disappeared people have been recovered.

DCP: No way, you are saying more than 300 people have returned.

Vineet: As for the remaining, I don't want to say this but (looks at the dead bodies).

DCP: Did you find any dead at other spots?

Vineet: Luckily we haven't yet sir. This is the only place, that's why we informed you as soon as we could.

DCP: Good job, gather any other information you can find. Mention me only the important details. I am giving you the charge to handle all the investigation involving the crime scenes. Create search parties and inspect the crime scenes thoroughly. If we are lucky we will find some clues regarding the culprit.

Vineet: On it (walks away).

DCP: Shyam (gestures to come over).

Shyam: (comes covering his mouth and nose) Sir?

DCP: I want you to handle the medical procedures for the deads and security measures for the rescued civilians. Inform the families of the alive civilians. The news for the deads will have to wait. Arrange the cases of disappearances in two categories, one for rescued successfully and another one for dead. Ask the stations to help you out. Take as many staff members you need. I don't want any case to be left out. I need everything solved as soon as possible. Got it?

Shyam: Sir, if you don't mind me saying, I will sincerely proceed with all the other tasks, but please, release me from the handling of the dead bodies.

DCP: This is no time for jokes. It is high time that you get rid of that scare of your of pile of dead bodies. You are a superior officer. People don't expect such stupid revulsions from you, and neither do I. It's not like we face such inhumanity more often. You understand?

Shyam: (sighs) Yes sir.

The college campus had considerable less students present today as compared to other days. G-one and group just finished the first class. Annoyed as usual sitting with Lavangi, Nikita stands up to leave.

Nikita: I am leaving. See you all at the lunch time.

Lavangi: Please don't.

Nikita: I wasn't talking about seeing you.

Lavangi: I wasn't saying for only me.

Piyush: Oye, easy. Don't start again.

Nikita: You see, I don't care about anyone else as long as Piyush wishes me to be here. Right Piyush?

Piyush: I, maybe.

Nikita: See ya, sweetheart (walks away).

Simar: You really want her here?

Piyush: I don't have any other choice (sighs).

Lavangi: Why, she has kidnapped your son.

Akash: Like she will kidnap her own son. Hahaha!

Simar and Lavangi: Akash!

Piyush: What the hell did you say, dog?

Akash: Woah! I was just kidding.

G-one: (reading his book) Why so surprised? It's not like Piyush is not interested in her. I saw them getting all cozy on the staircase if I remember it right.

Lavangi: You must be blinded.

Simar: Is that your idea of a joke? Not funny G-one.

G-one: Does my face say I am joking?

Piyush: (signalling him to shut up)

Simar: What is your face like when you do?

Mia: (looks at them smiling)

Lavangi: Hey wait a minute, G-one, look this way.

G-one: (looks) Why? Something on my face.

Lavangi: Your eyes!

G-one: Are they not supposed to be there?

Lavangi: Idiot! What happened to them? Their colour, it's different.

Simar: Huh! They are blue. I couldn't see them over your glasses. Take em off.

G-one: (nervous) Why, it's normal, there must be something wrong with your eyes (looks at Akash and Piyush who were already on the edge).

Mia: (thinks) Blue, I saw a boy with blue eyes before (slowly turns to look at G-one).

Lavangi: Both our eyes are malfunctioning, what stupidity! Piyush, Akash, say something. Do you not see it?

Piyush: Ummm!

Akash: Let's leave it be. He is a poor guy with poor eyesight. We should not bully him. Have mercy.

Simar: We just want to see his eyes (reaches for his glasses and tilts it down a bit).

Mia catches a glimpse of his spark full blue eyes when suddenly a series of memories reels down her memory lane.

G-one: (fixes his glasses back) Simar, you are a fiesty one. You almost broke my glasses.

Simar: Sorry about that G-one.

Moon: You both are serious, aren't you?

Lavangi: Looks otherwise to you?

Moon: I thought you both were just playing.

Lavangi: What are we, kindergarten brats.

Moon: You are not good with your actings then. I mean come on, his eyes have always been blue. What is this drama about?

Everyone was stunned looking at Moon smiling obliviously after the remark.

Lavangi: Are you right in the head, Moon? You didn't eat something weird, did you?

Moon: Why don't people believe me when I tell the truth?

Piyush: Actually G-one has put in some contact lenses. That's why his eye colour has shifted to blue.

Simar: But, contact lenses even after wearing glasses.

Lavangi: Ya, isn't it crazy?

Akash: This termite is crazy all right. He has a habit of wearing glasses over his eyes everytime. It would be more crazy to wear sunglasses everywhere, so he switched them with normal glasses. Actually, there is no power in it, you see.

G-one: I am sorry, guys. I should have told you about my this unconventional disease. I can't actually see clearly if I don't put glasses over my eyes. Looks like God has made me like this.

Simar: Well, the colour isn't that bad. It actually matches now with Moon. Atleast she won't feel alienated anymore.

Moon: Now? It has always been like that.

Piyush: (drops a chop on Moon's head)

Moon: Oww!

Lavangi: Why didn't you pick normal lenses? Geez!

Piyush: Ya, right. I told him so. But he said he likes blue colour. He wanted blue eyes for like, forever.

Lavangi: What's with the infatuation?

Piyush: Beats me.

Akash: He is crazy, I told you.

Simar: Hey, everyone has their rights to choose whatever color they want for their eyes. Come on.

Mia was continuously staring at G-one while G-one was diving in his book to avoid being embarrassed anymore. He notices Mia looking at him constantly.

G-one: Umm, Mia, what's wrong?

Mia: (concentration breaks) Huh!

G-one: Wanna say something? Looking for something unusual on my face as well?

Mia: No, no, why? I was just thinking about something.

G-one: Thinking, about me?

Mia: (flustered) Wh..wh.. why would I think about you? I was just listening to them. He..he.

G-one: Oh! Sorry, I made the wrong assumption here. But, if you are thinking about something, think with your head facing straight ahead or you might get your neck twisted if you kept it like that for long.

Mia: Ahem (looks ahead).

G-one: (listening them still calling him stupid because of his eyes) Do you want me to gauge my eyes out? Stop with belittling me, damn it. These bastards, I thought they were on my side, they are the one abusing me the most.

Mia: (thinking) G-one, blue eyes, that comforting touch. I know them.

Mia returns to her flashback where her mother was lying on her bed and Mia was sitting down with her face on the bed. Mia's mother gently swipes her hand on her head then goes to her cheek wiping her tears.

Mia's mother: You can do anything. You are my princess. A brave princess. I will always be with you (closes her eyes).

Mia: (crying with closed eyes) Don't leave me, Ma.

The room resonated with her name when a hand slowly reached for her cheeks. The touch fused her with a sense of calmness. She slowly raises her head towards the person standing before her. It was G-one slowly fading in, with tears in his eyes, he smiled at Mia. Suddenly a flash begins to blind her view.

Mia: (screams) Veera!

Mia opens her eyes and raises her head from her desk and finds herself back to the present. She searches for G-one, but he was missing along with Akash. Piyush and Moon were fighting over a chocolate.

Mia: Hey Simar!

Simar: Yes.

Lavangi: (pinching Piyush to make him loose his grip on the chocolate bar) Don't let him have it Moon. I got your back.

Piyush: Ow, ow ow ow, greedy bitch, get off of my back before you can have her back.

Mia: Where is G-one?

Simar: He went out to get same snacks with Akash.

Mia: Oh! I see.

Piyush: (hands begin to freeze) Oh, oh, oh, what's happening? I can't feel my fingers (looses grip).

Moon: (snatches the bar) Yo hoo! I got it.

Lavangi: Bravo! My share (extends her hand).

Moon: But you didn't do anything.

Lavangi: Why you! That's how you pay your bestfriend.

Moon: I was just kidding, Lavangi. Here..

Piyush: (jerking his hand) Damn it, what sorcery is this? I was saving that chocolate for later.

Lily was on her desk. She, learning to control her powers, adjusts her focus to heighten her sense and lower it periodically. She slowly drops her one finger on her desk, which sends waves of vibrations through the desk like ocean currents. Few of the screws drop loose below the desk and some cracks make themselves appear on the both edges of the bench. The students nearby freak out and try to understand what they saw. Lily jumps away from her desk suprised as much as others.

Girl 1: What the! What the hell just happened?

Girl 2: Lily, you alright?

Lily: Ya, ya, I am fine.

Boy: Hey, what came over to your desk? What did you do to wreck it like that?

Lily: I am going out. See you in the next class (walks out quick).

Boy: Is she doing ok?

Girl 2: She was on the desk when that happened.

Girl 1: Must have scared the hell out of her.

Boy: What happened actually?

Girl 2: Don't know.

Girl 1: Me too.

Walking through the corridor...

Akash: Let's get few packets of chips and some samosas.

G-one: How about a cold drink. I wanted to drink last night, but you know what happened.

Akash: Fine, let's get a bottle. It might raise some energy in this heat. You noticed something?

G-one: Hmm! The rush, it is almost zero today. I wonder what happened?

Akash: (sees Lily coming towards the intersection) It's my heroine.

G-one: (shoves Akash forward) Go get her. Take her with you to the cafeteria and get the snacks.

Akash: What is this? You are not coming?

G-one: I will meet you two in the class. Don't sweat it, get some alone time.

Akash: But, that thing is not above our brotherhood.

G-one: I know, bitch. I am saying to do it. Get lost (pushes him away).

Lily was nervous after what happened. She was holding her hand and walking towards the cafeteria without knowing where she was going when she saw Akash running towards her with G-one standing behind smiling. G-one blinks and salutes before going into the shadow behind the wall. Akash stupidly smiling reaches for her hand but she pulls her hand back in fear thinking that phenomenon will occur again.

Akash: (suprised) Hey, what happened heroine? Are you angry of me again for some reason?

Lily: (hesitate) I, no, it just, I think I got something wrong with my hand.

Akash: What! (quickly pulls her hands checking them one by one) Huh! What, where, I see nothing.

Lily: (shocked that nothing happened)

Akash: You are trying to give me a heart attack, huh?

Lily: Why, no.

Akash: (pulls her with him) Let's go, Moon and others are waiting, we got some snacks to steel.

Lily: Easy!

They enter the cafeteria and find negligible crowd around the counters.

Akash: Huh! Is the lunch time over already?

G-one changes his route from the class towards the field. He sits on the stairs and looks at the fewer students playing in the blazing sun.

G-one: Summertime really makes it hard to enjoy outdoor games, doesn't it? I wonder if Manas and others will continue playing with us during the summer.

Mia slid behind him and stared at him from the side. She saw his eyes shining through the space between his glasses and eyebrows. G-one senses a person standing next to him and quickly faces that way.

G-one: Mia! What! What are you doing trying to sneak up on me like that? A prank?

Mia: No, (comes and sits beside G-one) I saw you going this way so I followed you.

G-one: You saw me that's why you came after me. Not much of a reason to ditch everyone and come see me.

Mia: Well, actually I wanted to be alone with you for sometime, that's why I tailed you. Is that reason enough?

G-one: Wanted to be alone with me? What should I make of that?

Mia: (blush) Do..don't misunderstand that now. I was just curious about a memory that I have which I wanted to ask you about.

G-one: (chuckles) How could I know about your memory? What kind of joke is this?

G-one: Sorry, go on.

G-one: Sorry! Oh! (rubs his head)

Mia: So you don't know. Then, does the name Veera ring any bell?

G-one: Veera! Wait, I have heard that name.

Mia: Ya, where?

Mia was not expecting that answer. Her face hung down, with sadness in her eyes. G-one touches her face with his palm. Mia looked at G-one as the positive energy revitalized her.

G-one: What's wrong? Did I say something wrong? Sorry again.

Mia: (holds his hand that was on her face, with a relaxing smile) No, no need to be sorry. I was down cause of the heat.

G-one: Oh, I see. And here I thought my words hurt you somehow. Then, (tries to pulls his hand back).

Mia: (holds his hand and snuggles with it using her cheek) No, wait, let it be like this for sometime.

G-one: Ok! (smiles) As you wish.

Mia: G-one!

G-one: Hmm!

Mia: You don't have amnesia, do you?

G-one: (stunned, thinks) Huh! What? How did she find out? Did Moon tell her?

Mia: Your mouth says something else and your touch says something else.

G-one: Who told you I have amnesia? Did Moon..

Suddenly an announcement echoes through the campus on speakers.

Speaker: Attention students, the college is about to have an emergency shut down after the lunch time due to the return of the people who disappeared during the lockdown. Many students might have their family members, relatives and friends among them. The college staff wishes them happy and safe return. The classes will resume as usual from tomorrow. Have a wonderful day.

Akash and Lily with snacks in their hands enter the class.

Akash: Did you guys hear that?

Lily: (puts the packets on the desk)

Lavangi: It's good news, I wish the city would go back as it used to.

Piyush: How did the college staff come to know about such information?

Mia and G-one waltz in.

Mia: It's on the news.

Lavangi: On the news!

Mia: I heard students talking about it outside.

Simar: (checking her phone) She is right.

Lily: What does it say?

Simar: It says that end of a vicious terrorist cycle.

Piyush: What?

Akash: You sure?

Simar: It's that what it reads here.

G-one: So they are trying to cover it as a terrorist attack.

Mia: You know something about this G-one?

G-one: I, no, why would I know something about this?

Mia: The way you said it. It's like you know it wasn't a terrorist attack.

G-one: I mean, isn't it obvious? With so many defence departments throughout the country, is it possible that terrorists would be able to keep a city under lockdown for almost three years? And we are talking about a city in Mumbai, one of the important names on the Indian map.

Lily: You got a point there. Looks like they are trying to hide something.

Lavangi: Who cares about politics. There is always a new game, new corrupt strategy for these good for nothing government officials. If nobody is gonna eat it, I am ripping it.

Lavangi picks up one of the snack pack.

Piyush: She is right, let's leave these talks for later. The college announced an emergency shutdown. Finish up, we gotta go.

Moon: Oh! You got cold drink, give it here.
