Frost's Greed (Marvel)

Everyone follows Xavier, the idealist. Everyone worships Magneto, the extremist. None dare to disrespect Apocalypse, the militarist. But what about the final of the big 4. The one who has lost their students at every turn. The one that walks down the darkest path and is unwilling to put their faith in none outside of their circle of trust. The one that cares not about how humans view mutants nor about the infighting of others. Whose only true care is for the students. This is not a story about her but about a student of hers that believes in her ideas and teachings. Not about peaceful coexistence or mutant supremacy or survival of the fittest. To strive for a brighter tomorrow, even if they have to make it through the blackest night. This is the story of one boy following learning how to be a mutant in a world that hates him under the teachings of the White Queen. He will go from an inexperienced kid to one of the most important mutants in the world ------------ I'm guaranteeing this story for a year, averaging a chapter per day (major holidays may get no chapter or more chapters.) This means that this will be my longest and most secure story, and hopefully the best, on the site. *Warnings! Warnings! Warnings!* - This takes place in an AU of Marvel. So while most things will remain similar to what most people are familiar with, there will be some changes (Some characters being mutants or mutates, etc) - He will start off weak power-wise. He will become very powerful eventually but not for now. He must earn the crowd's favor. - This will be a harem.

Issue #7

Jack left the meeting as soon as he got done explaining some of the finer details and how he would be testing the various students on their magical potential.

Jack had already tested those that were there during the summer but the returning and new students that would be coming to the institute in a few weeks would also be made to go through the test.

It was nothing more than pricking than blood and trying to detect any magical energy within it. Although those with powerful magical potential could easily be sensed by an experienced sorcerer, many of those with lesser potential needed a more precise method.

But that would be something Beast would have to worry about. He was the school doctor after all.

When Jack walked out, he had 2 followers behind him. One of them was looking at Jack with eager eyes while the other was just there to watch a good show.

"Fine, Stella. We can have a match but not here. We need to head to somewhere more private since it is not good for the others to know about your full powers," Jack finally gave in. Stella had been begging to have a match with her father to see the difference in their strength. Although she knew that she was weaker, she wanted to see the difference herself.

"Perfect. Where are we going?" Stella asked

"Go get your sisters first and meet me at my room. Might as well make this a family outing as well."

Stella hurried off to grab the cuckoos with Rachel while Jack waited outside of Xavier's office for about 5 minutes until Emma walked out with the other X-Men. As soon as she came out, Jack grabbed her hand to bring the woman back to their room.

While others saw this as the two being as eager as two horny teenagers, Jack didn't care if they got that label. The duo already had 6 kids and a daughter-in-law after all.

When the pair got to the room, the others were already waiting for them. The group entered the room before Jack started the spell to teleport them to his new kingdom.

Jack began to chant and make several hand gestures before the nine of them were covered in motes of light. When the lights disappeared, the group had appeared in an open field. The field was very expansive and had beautiful grass that looked blue with light pink in certain parts making it shine as the sunlight reflected off of them.

"Wow. This place is beautiful. Where are we?" asked Esme

"Can't be on Earth. Dad wouldn't waste his time looking for a place like this," Celeste said brutally

"This..." Jack said while gesturing around him, "is Jotunheim, the land of the giants in Norse mythology. And I am the new king of it."

Unlike how the MCU and comics focused on the part of Jotunheim that the Frost Giants lived in, the entire realm was much larger than those frozen mountains. It had entire biomes where the various other types of giants could and did live.

Emma looked at the land in appreciation. Unlike the girls who were just seeing the natural beauty of the landscape, Emma was seeing the potential in the land for mutants.

{So this will be our backup plan?} Emma asked over their personal connection

{Yes, my love. While there are still giants in this realm, they are not enough of a threat to the point where we have to wipe them out. They can even be considered decent training for combat-minded mutants.} Jack told her his honest thoughts on the place

While Jack's initial plan was to ensure mutants had a place on Earth, he was also fine with making sure they had somewhere else in the universe where they could live in peace.

"Mother, Father. Can you two stop your flirting so we can have our match?" Stella asked eagerly

Jack smiled at the girl before giving Emma a deep kiss and walking over to her. He also wanted to see just how strong she was.

Stella was actually a very powerful mutant in her own right and could have easily taken on dozens or even hundreds of Sentinels at her full power.

Stella inherited some telepathy from Emma, though it was not at the level of the latter while also having superhuman physical abilities on the level of Spider-Man. She also inherited her magical potential from Jack. But her most important power was her ability to replicate powers.

Stella's main mutant power was Superior Power Replication. She could copy the powers of up to 8 mutants and transformed them into enhanced versions of themself while also knowing how to use them to their fullest.

For example, if she copied Pyro's power, she would not only be able to control fire as he did but she could create her own fire unlike him or create fire with supernatural properties.

This was why she got the codename Zenith. Because no matter which mutant she faced in single combat, she would almost always win due to having a stronger power. The rare times she would lose would be due to a lack of creativity and experience.

Stella had taken the powers of all the Omea-Level mutants in the school (Storm, Iceman, and Jean) and used them as her own to match Jack's best abilities.

So Jack spent the next hour battling with Stella and seeing her full capability. And he was impressed. There were even a few times where the girl had almost caught him off guard and defeated him.

It was less due to Jack's skill and more because he had a more diverse powerset than his daughter that he came out on top. If Stella had the chance to meet more Omega-level mutants, she most likely would have won the battle.

Seeing that he had barely come out on top, Jack felt proud of Stella but also a burning desire to get stronger himself. Stella was also feeling the same way when she saw that she was unable to beat her father even when he was much weaker than the last time she saw his future self.

Both father and daughter proved just how similar they were as they began to silently plan how to get stronger while putting their lives on the line.
