Gosh I love this novel so much that it hurts! It's not often that you come upon bl novels that actually have an interesting plot and to stumble upon this was a miracle in itself. I just hoped that the novel wouldn't go premium since I am sure there are a lot of ppl like me who can't buy the subscription but rest assured that I'll always support the author and love this masterpiece 💜

I've been reading this story and have been updated of the chapters since then. The story is very well written, very detailed and organized. Sometimes you'll just have a hard time memorizing names but overall, there's no need to take time to remember them all just to make sense of the story. So far, I'm loving it and highly recommend reading! Five Stars is just not enough to express how I love this!

This reads like a professionally published novel 🥰 I’m fairly new to WN, but I’ve taken a few looks around and read the first 40 chapters of enough books to know that this is one of the most well written stories in WN. Besides the level of technical writing, the plot is sensical; intricate; holds enough back to keep you guessing, but reveals enough to make the progression satisfying; and feels like it is actually challenging for the character to overcome. I feel a real sense of danger and tension in the air, not just for the main character, but the side couples, too. The characterization can be described by those adjectives above 😂 and also the characters feel well rounded and intimate, so Reader feels connected to and invested in Yan Zheyun’s struggles, as well as those of his friends and a certain ML 😏😍 (<—that’s all I say about him *coughs* *blushes* *grins* *puts two thumbs up*) The world is deep and not there just to serve the MC; it’s beautifully rendered for us to sink into. No one is OP, so everyone has to play the game and maneuver with words and actions. I could wax poetical about it, but I would rather go read atm 😁 (can you blame me?). I’ll just share that I keep thinking of this story, no matter how many others I read while waiting for chapter releases, so I‘m going to have to reread this from the start soon (you’ll see my commentary along the way 😉) and continue to give all my golden tickets to this book. Such a wonderful novel! The story is interesting, the world building is magnificent, the characters are well written, the writing is style-appropriate and flows well... I genuinely can't think of anything I would change about this book, I absolutely adore it! This novel is the reason I downloaded the Webnovel app in the first place, I can't wait for more to come!

I love everything about this story! The main character has actual character development. He has an impact on the world and the world has an impack on him. I'm preparing my heart because the two love interests have a long way to go both personally and professionally. So far their love is very cute and new. I can't wait to see how it develops as they are thrust in deeper political intrigued and reform. This book is 10/10 perfection!

This story is so good. I started reading a couple of storys like this one (transmigration and all that), but this is the one I couldn't put down and actually paid money for. It is so captivating. The main character is not one of those overpowered Gary Stues, that seems to dominat the other storys. Not only is he powerless, but he is also likeable. I want him to succeed. Not only to survive, but the be with his love and be able to stand side by side with him. The world is also build extremly good. It is so detailed, that I feelt like I could wander around in it. Like I was truely there. My understanding of the culture isn't good enogh to say how accurate it is. But it seems realistic.

this is one of my fav stories on this app. very well rounded story with mixes of politics, slow burn romance, and steamy moments. if you want a transmigration story that actually takes the inevitable culture shock kinda seriously you'll like this.

This is my favourite among the author’s novel though I don’t normally read LGBT. The notion of a CEO becoming a concubine is novel & the author has potrayed the character pretty well; soft as a concubine should yet with streaks of subtle dominance of a CEO. Against a backdrop of palace intrigue, this has make me continuously looking forward to the next chapters 😍

I absolutely love the writing, the plot, and especially the characters. MC and ML didn't magically just fall in love at first sight, the development of their relationship, also all the schemes and drama within the harem are so interesting to read.

This book from the onset just had my emotions utterly in a twist . and absolutely did not forsee season 4, am glad that Liu Yao is now free to love ziyu without guilt ,this should be made into a tv drama!!,
