My Life Before And After The First Travel

My name is Ion. I am now 18 years old. I have a brother, Yesac (22), and have three friends I get along with. My brother is handsome, tall, and good at sports. My brother and I wanted to live alone in a house since our other family didn't support us.

My first friend is Cassandra. She helps me with my studies. I call her Cass for short. She accompanies me to my parent's graveyard. When I told her I was buying a house with my brother, she said she would come to live with us. We divided bills to make it easier to live while going to school.

My second is Rocko (Rocky as a nickname), he also helps me with my studies and he's popular. He plays a lot of games and somehow his grades are good. He likes to exaggerate things as a joke.

My third friend is Cass' older sister, Ur, she is nice, elegant, and popular in college. Ur and my brother go to the same school and are often together. She likes to joke around and listen to the news on the radio, and she's good at socializing. But her taste in movies is very peculiar.

I have a really good memory so part-time jobs like the small bookstore close to the school or the convenience store close to my house are easy to work in. At 19:00, my shift ended, and I went back home. I saw my friends waiting for me to go to my house. When we arrived home my brother was about to go out and told us he was buying something. A few minutes later he came back with some snacks and drinks and with my friend's sister, Ur. We were all watching TV while Yesac and Ur went to the kitchen to grab some plates and cups for us.

~A few minutes later~

    "So, what do you want to watch?" I say while holding the remote control. "Do we watch a movie or a show?"

    "What about some horror movies?" says Ur with a smile as she brings a bowl full of popcorn and some drinks with my brother. "I found some interesting ones in the bookstore horror section, what do you say?" Her voice sounded so kind that no one was afraid of what would happen with the movies but we were still in doubt about saying yes.

"A-agreed," we all say, with a little trace of hesitance and excitement and gulping in curiosity to know what it is about.

After the movies, it was pretty late and the news said there'd be a thunderstorm so I told them to stay over the night at our house. They agreed, but surprisingly my brother didn't stop me. He was pretty good with the idea which he rarely approves.

A sudden flash and a loud noise shouted the beginning of the thunderstorm. This thunderstorm was different. It wasn't like the weather report said, the lights even went out but it didn't sound like the thunder was that serious.

I checked my phone and noticed there was no reception. I asked around if they had any but it was the same.

After lighting some candles we had in the kitchen, I drew closer to the window to see what was going on outside. Strangely I saw nothing and as I opened the window, there was sunlight coming through. I thought it was strange since it was almost the middle of the night.

Then other big noises were heard outside.

They sounded like explosions. I rushed over to the door and opened it. There was a big creature that looked like a dragon but bigger, it seemed to be fighting another dragon of a different color. They didn't notice the house just frozen in the air when they were fighting.

"What's that?" asked my brother. He was as confused as we all were.

"It... looks like a dragon, but..." responded Ur being very confused. She's never seen this type of dragon before and studying mystical creatures was her main topic for a college project. She accompanies her answer by saying "Where are we?"

The house began to descend at a high speed but the objects inside the house didn't budge, only the five of us felt the house falling.

I closed the door with great effort and moved the window to close it. Before closing it, I stuck my head out the window to see the dragons. I thought it would be safest by the stand lamp to the side of the window.

After some time falling, I peeked outside. We were falling very fast and the ground grew closer.

Before hitting the ground I closed my eyes and crouched down and covered my head to protect myself from the crash.

I slowly opened my eyes when I didn't feel the landing and got up to the door. I opened the door and saw the big dragon creature glowing with its claw pointing to our house. The dragon seemed to be doing something to the house, as it lay down on the ground covered in blood and wounds. We all stepped outside looking at the unfamiliar world and creatures that looked like they came from myths. We closed our distance from the dragon to express our thanks not knowing it could understand us. The other dragon flew east without looking back, which we were grateful for, 'cause if it did it would be the end for us. The dragon lying in front of the house closed its eyes and nodded as if it could understand us, then it growled suddenly which startled us, and began glowing once again.

**The glow was so bright that the five of them had to cover their eyes. The body soon molded into the shape of an egg. When the glow passed the girl and her brother closed the distance with the dragon egg. Without knowing what would happen the two of them slowly and carefully got close, looking around at the other creatures that seemed to be showing their respect to the dragon.**
