I insist

"I think you're kidding here, Ken. I didn't think I could handle a project of this size" she answered straight to the point. While shaking her head. No, she wouldn't be able to handle it. Who was she, she thought, to be worthy of handling a masterpiece project like this.

"Who said I was joking. I mean it Leigh. Don't look down on yourself" the smile that graced his face disappeared. It was replaced by a serious face and deep frown. She did a good job. After all, he knew clearly in Terrazen, she won a big project. Why was it so hard for her to accept her abilities?

"No, Ken. I can't." She shook her head even harder. She refused to take up this project. It is a big challenge for her. But too heavy for her to handle. Beside, she believes there is someone might be more capable of to handle this project but why he chooses her? She still couldn't get it.

"No need to answer now, Leigh. You can give your answer when the training is over. Or anytime. I can wait" he gave her the reassurance answer. as far as she needs time to think. He will wait for her. He just needs her around him, he felt calm and peace when she around him. At the least, he just needs her, that all he is asking for.

Leigh couldn't think long and clear, right now all she needed was to get away from here "I guess I'm done here, I'm sorry" without waiting, she got up from her seat. But before she could take a step. His voice was heard.

She didn't once turn to Kendric, like he wasn't standing aside at the moment. but out of the corner of her eye, she was watching his movements. Unfortunately, Kendric also did what she did. Standing still, ignoring her.

As the screen changed to 70, the sound of the elevator making Leigh's heart skip a beat for a moment. She gasped, startled only by the small sound she used to hear every time she entered or exited an elevator. But this time it felt different than the others. The sound of the elevator was like an alarm for her to wake up from sleeping with nightmares, standing by the side of a man too intimidating for her.

The elevator door opened. Kendric took a step, to hold the door and let Leigh out first. But when they get out of there. There was a commotion along the corridor.

People look panicked. Whispering in the crowd. There were several policemen in the crowd. And seen at one point the crowd seemed to be crammed in there. The one standing at the back had to stand on tiptoe to see in the crowd. She doesn't know what they were doing there.

While Kendric stood beside Leigh, looking around the crowd with sharp daggers, ready to be thrown in the event of a surprise attack. He stood beside Leigh, protectively. This was how he felt when Leigh excused herself. He felt something odd was happening. So spontaneously he escorted her, just in case she was in danger, at least she had him by her side.

The thing that made Leigh frown was, the crowd was close to her room door. She recalled this afternoon when she returned from lunch. She made sure the door was locked, so it shouldn't be a problem. In the middle of her daydream, someone called her name.

"Leigh" Vhaken shouted from the other side. He was out of breath. His face was full of panic. He ran to her. "Leigh, I was looking for you everywhere," he said, between his rough breaths.

"What happened?" she asked confusedly. Her eyes glanced left and right in the midst of the commotion. She couldn't make out clearly what was going on. She had only been upstairs about an hour, and now there was chaos.

"One of the trainees brought a stranger who was drunk. Then make a mess. Unfortunately, your room is where he vents his crazy actions" Vhaken explained breathlessly. How could he not, when he knew the commotion was going on in her room. His mind was full of confusion, panic, and anxiety. He imagined the worst thing happening to her. but now he can breathe a sigh of relief, seeing she's all right.

It was at this moment that Vhaken realized that next to Leigh stood the same man at the front of the elevator incident. His brow furrowed deeply. What was he doing here, with Leigh too? Had Ezra brought Leigh to meet him. what's the deal between him with Leigh? His mind was thinking the worst.

And he was starting to pay his full attention to the man in front of him now. He made a note in his mind, about to ask Farley or Ezra who this man was. He knew clearly, this man was present at every training session. But he didn't even make a sound. Just seat quite in the corner of the room. He didn't look like a trainee. Because Ezra was always behind him as long as he was present at training sessions.

The wider his mind wandered, the more curious he became. Who the hell is he?

"Leigh, I think it's better we look into your room, if there is something missing or what" said Kendric broke Vhaken's thoughts, and jolted Leigh who was still confused.

"Ah... yes, you're right" she tried to remain calm. Although her face was clearly visible, she was not in a state of calm.

The three walked, towards her room, through the crowd that filled the corridor. Until they burst into the front door of her room.

The first thing she knew was, her eyes were wide open, likewise, her mouth, she used her right hand to cover her mouth, in shock. She was astonished to see what was in front of her.

The wall of the room from door shattered, as if a heavy object had been pushed through the wall to such a state. The window glass was also shattered. Remnants of broken walls and glass, scattered on the floor of the room. Like a ship breaking after being hit by a bomb. She couldn't digest what was really going on here.

She slowly walked into her room. The others followed behind. Tables, TVs, beds, chairs all shattered. She made her way to the cupboard, and he was grateful that her things, even though they were messy, at least they could still be organized. All the essentials things, were in her bag, she carried with her wherever she went out. She knew hotel security she couldn't count on.

"Sir" her Dumbfounded was interrupted by the voice of someone she knew. Calling next to her ear. It was Farley and Ezra. Farley's face was very serious and tense, the look in his eyes, the glare of the sharp dagger was terrifying. She had never seen Farley's serious face like this. Not when they clash with one of the project's clients on the restaurant's at terrazen, the night is full of tension for her. At that time Farley also looked serious but not this serious.
