First day of training

Leigh woke up in a dimly lit room, light shining only from the far end of the ceiling of the hotel room she was in. She reaches for her cell phone, presses the power button, the screen turns on only for her to see the time, it shows 6.00 am.

'How could she sleep all this time? Was it because she was tired on the way from Terrazen to Yannick, it couldn't be because during the journey on the plane she also slept the whole way' she was astonished by the effect on her body, which she found very strange. She hadn't slept this long, as far as she could remember if it was accurate in her mind.

She didn't think that her frenzy had made her body this weak, it was impossible.

She put her phone back on the bedside table. She sat up and got out of bed. Walking towards the window, staying in a 5-star hotel, the curtains attached are of high quality with thick fabrics. So don't expect if you don't open it then the light from outside will come in.

Her hands gripped the outside of the dark gray curtains, She easily pulling them to the left. Leaving the expanse of the city of Yannick which is still partly lit, because it is still quite dark, but the sun has started to show its form on the eastern horizon with the color of the sky orange.

Standing in a building with a height on the 70th floor, the expanse of Yannick city will be a view of the metropolitan city, the bustle of the street is getting busier, people are starting to open the doors of their shops to cram their wares. Even though you can see only a few details from above, you can still see what's going on down there.

She turned around, reached into her trunk to pull out her clothes she was going to wear on the first day of training. She walks into the bathroom and get shower. 30 minutes later she came out of the bathroom, her face looked refreshed, a smile appeared on her fresh face.

She braced herself, stood in front of the mirror to dry her wet hair, in 15 minutes her hair was dry and neatly styled with the bangs throw on the left side, half covering her forehead. she then put on simply make up after that, she grabbed her bag, walked out of the room to the hotel dining room which was located on the same floor.

The committee ensures that all their activities in the hotel are on one floor. Leigh walked leisurely down the long corridor. She wondered how many rooms were on one floor if the corridor was this long. She kept walking until an open space came into view, and there was the dining room with the feel of a dining room on the rooftop. Decorative flowers on the walls, some also in standing pots. Looks charming but exclusive.

Her eyes accidentally caught a familiar figure. Even the figure had already waved his hand at her for her to come over to him. He sat alone at the table. With no other choice as he was the only one, she knew for now. She walked over to him.

"I thought I was early here" she said in an embarrassed voice, apparently someone was earlier than her.

"How did you dream of me last night, was it a good dream?" Vhaken's mischievous gaze with his boyish smile didn't leave his face when he said that. He placed his palms lazily under his chin on the dining table. Staring at her.

"Too bad, even your shadow doesn't appear, and my dreams are much more beautiful without you in them" she replied with a mischievous grin, setting her bag down on the table. She looked around at the center table on which there were various kinds of food to choose from as a warm breakfast.

"I'll get my food first" Leigh said, then walked over to the table. In a moment she was back at the table where Vhaken was sitting.

Leigh sat on a chair opposite Vhaken, the food she chose was toast bread with jam, peanut butter and chocolate plus honey. Paired with hot tea.

"You seem to have had a long sleep last night," said Vhaken in between chewing his Spaghetti Oglio. "I knocked and pressed your doorbell, but there was no answer" he looked at her with a serious face.

"Why? What's wrong?" she asked spontaneously, she thought there was something important to discuss with her.

"It's nothing, I just want to take you out for a walk, enjoy the night streets of Yannick city" he replied in a flat voice with his eyes still staring at her.

"Oh, sorry. I also don't know why I can sleep that long" an indifferent voice sounded, impressed that she herself was asking herself why she could sleep that long. Well, that's the question that popped up the second her eyes opened in her room earlier. And until now she still has not found the answer to that question.

After that Leigh asked about the training from the series of events, what they did throughout the day. Vhaken explained to her in detail the first training he himself had when he first joined Yannick corporation.

After eating, they stood on the edge of the rooftop to enjoy the atmosphere there, until the time for the training program to begin. The two of them walked towards the meeting room. Upon arrival. It turned out that all the participants were already there. Waiting for the time to ring exactly at 8 o'clock, and the event will start, starting with the opening words from the training organizers, followed by the introduction of the committee, then the participants itself.

There is nothing special, everything is still a normal training event in general. There Leigh got to know participants from other cities. Who was as enthusiastic and nervous as her in participating in this training.

Five minutes before the event started, all participants were already seated in their respective places according to the numbers listed on their nametags. Legih and Vhaken were found to be seated in the middle of the room. Everyone sat in silence and the door to the room was shut tight. Waiting for the event to start.

When one of the organizers walked towards the stage to give a speech, the sound of the door creaking was heard, all eyes turned to the open door. And there appeared a tall man, the same man Leigh had met in front of the elevator the other day. He walked in with relaxed but charismatic steps. Sit in the back seat. He sat there leisurely, his legs crossed over the other. The way he dresses is different from the others. Until it stole the attention of all the participants, looking in awe at who the man was.

To Leigh, the man was very charming. Every footstep he took, the movement of his swaying hands matched his footsteps. His face was handsome but expressionless at all. Leigh was still staring intently at the man as the man's eyes fell on her, their gazes colliding. At that moment Leigh's heart skipped a beat, hands felt cold instantly which simultaneously sent chills running down her spine. It makes her sitting position uncomfortable. The look made her blush. It was as if that gaze wanted to swallow her whole, right then and there. She clenched her fists in her lap to suppress the trembling of her body. She wanted to lower her gaze but somehow, she couldn't. She couldn't move her head. Only her eyes moved to follow the direction the man walked into the room. Until he sat in a chair at the end of the room. Their gazes continued to stare at each other.

On the other hand, all participants' eyes were still on the man, when the committee's voice woke them up, and drew their attention back to the front of the stage. At this moment, Leigh was able to move her head, she breathed a sigh of relief.
