Chapter 9 - Hidden Danger

What Tian did not expect was just as he was about to go forward to break Shen free from the leader's hand, Shen easily flicked her hand to break free of him. But this was not the shocking part. What made Tian so shocked was that when Shen flicked her hand, the whole person who was holding her hand flicked with it. Not only that but as soon as his hands broke free of Shen's, the whole person flew for nearly 30 feet before falling back on the ground. This scene was incredible. All the people around the leader were dumbfounded. It was as if a scene from classic Martial Arts movie have been played. Shen herself was shocked. She was confident in her strength and was not even a little bit afraid of these people. But this much strength, it can be said that her strength has been multiplied countless times. It could be said to be a blessing that this was a particularly secluded part of the city, else this would have caused a sensation.

"You, how did you do it" Tian asked with an incredible expression on his face. "I don't know. It just happened" said Shen while still thinking what was going on. Firstly slowing down of time, now this, what happened to her during that crash? Suddenly she thought of what Tian said that those animals became extinct nearly 65 Million Years ago. Oh my god! Has it been really this long since she fell on this planet? Tian was also a little sceptical about her identity now. The strength that she displayed right now was not natural. Its not that Tian has never seen such strength before. Its just that he did not expect that Shen could be someone with this strength. For normal people, Shen's strength was something that can only be watched in movies. But Tian's life experience cannot be compared with that of those ordinary people. Even people of his own family does not know what Tian has been through in his life.

"We should leave immediately from here, else someone will come and trouble will be greater" said Tian suggesting to run away from here. He took An in his hands and instead of going towards the building, he ran towards some other direction. Shen also followed Tian. She also knew that this could cause sensation throughout the city and she will not be able to peacefully go around in this city. The people that were with the leader did not try to intercept them. They just saw what happened to their leader. Who would be mad enough to go over to stop them. They were just glad that it was not them who tried to grab hold of Shen else they would be the one being thrown on the ground. "Quickly, take the boss to nearest medical centre" said one of them while trying to lift up their leader.

After running for few minutes, Shen and Tian stopped in a relatively crowded road. Tian put An down. An was puzzled as to why Tian held him up and ran here. He was still very much immersed in the book about dragons that he was reading that he missed all the action that took place. It was better this way else there would be many questions on his mind that would go unanswered (Even though An is twelve in age, but while running for life he cannot run as fast. Thus Tian carried him on his arms for faster movement).

"Your move there was incredible. I really doubt your background. What faction do you belong to?" said Tian while looking straight at Shen's eyes. He was trying to pick any kind of movement from which he can be sure if she is lying or not. "What faction? What are you talking about?" said Shen with a puzzled look. What is Tian saying suddenly? What faction? "Oh its nothing. I think we should first go to the doctor to see your brain injury. Once you can have those memories maybe you will realise where you come from". Now Tian was curious about her. At starting he was just trying to help her out of pure heart. But now after seeing her strength, he was cautious and interested about her. "Could it be that they sent her after me to kill me?" murmured Tian in his heart. He never revealed his life experience to anyone so to avoid any unnecessary danger. He decided to take her to doctor to see what was going on. Maybe he can find some clues. What he fears the most is that the people looking for him will find him one day. He is not afraid of death. Its just he is afraid that everyone around him will suffer. Therefor he mostly stays away from his family.
