Reviews of Forty Millenniums of Cultivation

I really liked this and wish more people had read it so it wouldn’t have gotten dropped. The first part of the story is fun progression and face-slapping. After that, it becomes much more epic in scope, and in my opinion it does a praiseworthy job of fleshing out various competing philosophies on how best to develop and expand civilizations in situations with limited resources and outside aggressors. This is kind of a spoiler, but toward the end of the novel, a stand-in for the author who is written into the story gives a very plausible explanation for why this novel didn’t do well: The first few hundred chapters are pretty cliche and forgettable, so people who are sick of these kinds of stories quickly stop reading. Then, after the first few hundred chapters, the novel transitions into something different with a slower pace, and this change makes the people who liked the first part of the novel stop reading. But new people who might like the stuff after the first part of the story do not have a good entry point so they don’t start reading. So at some point all you have left is the fraction of the original readers who were both fine with the beginning of the story and kept reading after the story evolved. This is definitely a cautionary tale for aspiring *writers*, but the novel is a good read for *readers* willing to stick with it.

After fully reading the novel through mtl I can guarantee every reader who has the patience (or speed reading skill) to read through slow paced developments will be in for a thrill. As the story progresses the plot becomes more and more intricate without feeling forced. Building up to a masterpiece of a final arc (excluding epilogue and spinoffs). Its just too bad that all my friends think I'm crazy when I try to summarise the world background in an attempt to convince them to read it lol. I can't spoil themes and similarities to other novels as I believe the first few arcs will gradually control your mind and help you settle in this new universe. Edit: as I've read the story before I can't comment on updating stability.

This is the best novel out there on this website and that's that. It has all the elements The author has painstakingly researched science and technology economics and even human psychology to give the most realistic scenarios possible. The plot profession makes effin sense Despite the legnth of the book Not once has it seemed repetitive Each volume brings about a completely fresh Adventure leaving you hanging for more. No matter how fast the update speed is it will never be satisfactory enough though it is currently stable There is no unnecessary drama or face - slapping Romance is there but in the background not too much not too less. The action and comedy are super thrilling And the schemes plots and strategies are like layers of an onion. The villains are relatable and do t go down easilly The MC is badass and totally rocks. There is no Deus ex machina. It has literally none of the problems and tropes found in others stories. In the latest arc the author goes to this world of ancient cultivators which is exactly like the setting of most xinxia novels out there. It explains why people kill like bloodthirsty beasts Overall you will love it so please read and help push this novel to the top so that we can get more mass releases dammit Thanks for reading

this novel should be called 40 millenniums of translation come on... we can only hope that will get better bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla just to get 140 caracteres

Expect one chapter per week. Not 7 like is says. A good story ruined by slow releases. Also apparently reviews need to be minimum 140 characters, I think that's stupid

Once again, an amazing novel, ruined by an incredibly unreliable translater who has yet to voice any reasonable excuse for the lack of chapters. As far as i am concerned, the only reason why there are no updates could only possibly be due to the translater not holding true to his own actions of translating the novel, ie he is just too damn lazy to translate it, or he suffered from some kinda grevious injury that prevented him from updating this. Seriously, its been practically weeks since an and the novel still has the guts to claim '7 chapters/week'. Qidian International please do some god damn quality checking when you find 'willing and capable translaters'

I love the story but the updating rate really sucks. Not the first break for over a week and no explanation why. If this continues i will probably stop to read this story

Fantastic story that is only ruined by translators lack of updates. Story development, character design and world building are also fantastic and it really is a genuinely enjoyable novel to follow, however, the erratic updates is just frustrating. Even when signed up for Patreon, the lack of updates by the translator made me unsubscribe to them. It's sad.

One of the best novels i have had the pleasure of reading on this site. Simply said its AWESOME no other words to describe how i feel after reading this. I have the till c123 in only 2 days, i was completely addicted to this novel. Now the only thing i look forward to is to see this novel back to its real updating speed and maintain its stability of updates. **:THIS IS AWESOME, PLEASE DO GIVE IT TRY................................... -by a true fan of this novel

the translator has not stuck to the updating schedule at all these past two weeks and given no explanation that i have been able to find to explain why. so until then ill leave my rating at a 1.

Loved the book. Gets a 1 star rating because of the absurdity of the cost. After 40 chapters your choice is to either give up on it or she'll out 11,000 coins at once to buy the entire book. Ludicrous.

I love the novel overall just I do not have 200 dollars to shell out to purchase the whole book even if it's on sale I would rather purchase batch chapters please end sale soon please

Only rating so low since after Chapter 39, there’s a paywall that makes it difficult to continue the story. While I’ve become accustomed to it while being on the app, I hadn’t yet run into a paywall that only allows you pay for the whole book in order to continue the story until this one. I’m all for supporting the author, but when I’m not even given an option of supporting the author by a chapter to chapter basis and have to choose between paying over $100 for coins vs what $20 can bring me with other stories, I’m forced to choose the option that’ll allow me to make the most with what I’ve got.

Chapter - 1348 This is one of the best Novel I have read .. Everything is good .. Intelligent MC... Intelligent Villans ... Brilliant World building ....character growth and their Understanding... There is just one problem its too wordy but it can't eclipse this masterpiece anyhow....

I fell in love with this novel at the beginning with the unique charactesr, world build, and the plot. This novel has too much plot twist that sometimes your blood will boil and you'll cheer for the MC. But GOD the story development sucks. You're waiting for action and for the progress and suddenly the protagonist and the antagonist started debating for 20 chapters, it would be fine once in a while but in the later arc, the characters keep going on rant after a rant with extremely slow progress whatsoever

I think that this is one of the best cultivation novels around. The story has development and there is some romance in the later chapters. The only thing that may get hard is trying to remember all of the names of things. Even then if the charter or object has been out of the story for a short while normally there is a short explanation of the character of object. Sometimes the story slows down, but it always rebounds and comes back. If you were to reed the first ten chapters and then skip ahead 200 or 300 chapters it would be impossible to try and piece what happened back together

OMG I love this. I’m a big fan of cultivation and modern world combo, but I’ve always felt something was off. You know like modern world would have mysterious hidden cultivation wonders. It always had a disconnect for me. But this just wow. It’s a cultivation world that’s evolved in to a modern world. This is how it should be and I love how it makes fun and explains stuff about classic cultivation like a cultivator isn’t a walking battery and they can just give there power to people to instantly power up weak people. I can’t put words right. I would recommend this. P.s. I think this is how a modern setting cultivation should be. It will probably be the standard a cultivation world aged to the modern world not a modern world with cultivation elements

Absolutely phenomenal. The setting and backdrop are amazing and a great chance of pace for these kinds of novels. The entire cultivation works is united in a common goal so the world lacks the typical sociopathic murderer mindset of atypical novel. Typical novel: "You are a promising youngster of a different sect than mine?! I congratulate you, but must cripple you now!" 40k novel: " You are a promising youngster of a different sect than mine?! I congratulate you and look forward to our sects competing I the future! May the best sect win for the glory and progress of the Star Glory Federation!!! "
