Chapter 2

<p>After the live session, Ayesha told me that we had to go to the set as we had to prepare for the shoot. We arrived at the set and everyone was there and preparing, some were rehearsing and some were getting their hair and makeup done. <br/><br/>I walked into the dressing room as I needed to get changed first, "Morning everyone," I said as I went to sit on the dressing table chair, "Morning Anashe." <br/><br/>"You are late dweep," Mike said he was getting his hair done while he was busy on his phone, "I didn't ask, you know," I said as I rolled my eyes. <br/><br/>"Never said you did," he replied with a straight face. <br/><br/>"Please you two don't start," Mrs. Agnes said as she came towards me, "Anashe, go and get changed and see if your outfit needs any adjustments, everyone is almost ready except you," she said.<br/><br/> "Yes, Mrs. Agnes."<br/><br/>I changed my outfit and got my makeup done and went to join the other cast, we started filming and retaking. After some long hours, we were done with the dance scene, meaning I was done while the main leads and other casts would continue filming. I went to change and get my things ready as I had another schedule to attend to. I had to go for a fitting to prepare for the Louis Vuitton women's summer fashion show. <br/><br/>HoYeon Jung promised to meet me there; we were supposed to meet a day before the show, but we were needed for rehearsals and final adjustments. I was excited as she had become a Squid Game star and Louis Vuitton ambassador, and I couldn't wait to congratulate her. <br/><br/>It was my first time modeling as a runway model; I enjoyed being a fashion model who appears on billboards and in magazines, and HoYeon Jung promised to help me and tell me all I needed to know about modeling on the runway.<br/><br/>"Thank you so much, Anashe, it was lovely working with you," the director said. <br/><br/>She was a lovely African woman; she had come to shoot her very first African-American film in New York. Her film was no doubt going to be a hit as it was a beautiful combo of many tribes and races; she did her utmost best to ensure that the film would turn out well, and with what I saw, I knew it would be a hit. <br/><br/>I loved the part where we had to do some African dances in the traditional attire; it felt like home, and the dances were fun to learn and practice. "Oh, come on Nkosazana, it's not like we won't see each other again," I said hugging her.<br/><br/>"Yeah, I know, but still, it was lovely working with you."<br/><br/>"Pleasure, and it was amazing working with you... don't you have another upcoming movie I can feature in?" I said teasing her.<br/><br/>"I do, it's called 'Some day call me for drinks and clubbing'."<br/><br/>"Oh, I will feature in that one... I can already see it being my favorite," I said.<br/><br/>We arrived at the Louis Vuitton store, that's where I would do the fitting with Miriam, a young designer. I was taken to where I would fit the clothes and shoes; HoYeon had arrived 5 minutes before me and was getting ready to start her fitting.<br/><br/>"Hiiii!!" HoYeon said waving at me happily. I waved back excitedly, "Heyyy!"<br/><br/>"I thought you wouldn't make it in time," she said approaching me.<br/><br/> "I thought the same... it's a busy day, I honestly thought I would be late," I said hugging her.<br/><br/>"How are you?"<br/><br/>"Well, I am doing normal... I really can't say as I am really tired but excited for the upcoming events," I said sitting on the couch; Miriam was not in the room, and I hadn't seen her.<br/><br/> She must have been getting the dresses ready. <br/><br/>"I understand, no time to rest, we have to work... so The Rhythm In Love is finally being put in action," she said as she sat next to me.<br/><br/> "Yes, and that means more pressure... it doesn't get better, I swear buuuttt girl congrats, you are now a Louis Vuitton ambassador and a star... loved seeing you in action in Squid Game," I said smiling and slightly clapping my hands excitedly.<br/><br/>"Thank you, I always wanted Squid Game to do well, but no one predicted it will be this big," she said.<br/><br/>"Yes, true, sometimes we just don't expect something to become big, maybe for it to do well but like worldwide big, it comes as a shock... the movie might be good, but when it becomes internationally big, it comes unexpectedly, and your schedule becomes so tight and hectic that any free day feels like heaven," I said agreeing with her statement.<br/><br/> "Exactly... my schedule became so tight in a span of a month," she added. <br/><br/>"Working in Squid Game was so much fun and worth it, and it has become more worth it that the viewers love it, in just one month my life changed completely. At first, it was scary and I couldn't accept it, but I am slowly getting used to it."<br/><br/>"I hear you... I remember the first time I got cast in a movie, I was young and didn't expect much from it, but when my agency started receiving calls from production companies, my whole world changed. I was very scared at first, but then I had to get used to it and make the best of it, but sometimes it gets super hard."<br/><br/>"And it's crazy how all this is what we are passionate about, sometimes I complain when I get very busy, but when I am not busy, I miss being busy and doing all this... it becomes a part of you, and you have that love-hate relationship," she added.<br/><br/>"True, I love doing all this, but I hate it sometimes because I get so busy I don't have time for myself or other people. Sometimes I hate it, especially when things become overwhelming and tiresome, but when the baggage is lifted, you miss doing those things again."<br/><br/>Miriam walked in with a stylist; we stood up and greeted them, then we went down to business. When we were done, HoYeon and I promised to meet for a proper, not work-related meeting. When I was done with the fitting, it was late, "Ayesha, it's so late, and I haven't eaten, where should we go and eat?"<br/><br/>"Well, you have meetings and that Vogue photshoot up until 9 pm, then you will be done for the day, so the best place would be at the studio as you need to discuss the contract for the new movie TRIL," she said not looking at me but at her work iPad. <br/><br/>"Okay, let's get this done and over with; I miss my bed already."<br/><br/>After a long day, I get home at around 10 pm, took a shower, got to bed, and checked my social media accounts. I post the picture I took with HoYeon Jung and tag her and some pictures I took with my co-actors during the shoot, ensuring that no movie spoilers and leaks. I love sharing my daily activities with my fans, and I think they love it when I share my day's activities.<br/><br/>*Oh mY God!! I went and checked my favorite fan page, and they had posted about my meeting with HoYeon, so predictable. I then went to bed as I was exhausted... the meetings drained the life out of me. I needed a break!!</p>
