**Credit to the real owner of the cover photo** Lee Nana finds herself caught up in the middle of a drama she knows nothing about, when she accepts the request of her best friend to stand in for her as an hired girlfriend. She meets and falls in love with Kim Tan who happens to be her boyfriend's best friend unknowing to her, and drama ensues as different love triangles are formed. Lee Nana comes to find out that she isn't really who she thinks she is, and everyone around her is keeping one secret or the other from her. She gets to understand how one decision can change a person's life as well as those around her for the better... Or maybe for worse. ******** Tan locked eyes with her over his wineglass, she was pretty as sin. He wanted her, he wanted to take her right there. He could barely remember the last time he felt this strongly about any woman. What surprised him most was the fact that he didn't just want her body, he wanted her heart too. Most of the women he knew were all golddiggers, and he could get any of them between his sheets for the right price, so why the hell was this one proving stubborn? She shifted her gaze from his, "The wine is nice," She said smiling nervously, wanting to say anything to break the silence. She may be naive but she knew desire when she saw it, and she could see it written all over his eyes. The thought of it made her heartbeat quicken. 'You have a boyfriend, what are you doing letting yourself get attracted to this guy?' she asked herself. He could tell she was nervous, it made him smile. It reassured him to know he still had that effect on females, especially this one that roused everything in him. He reached across the table and placed his hand over her hand making her jump. He chuckled, "Calm down girl, I don't bite. you just look so nervous, I wanted to calm you down." He said, laughter dancing in his eyes. "I'd appreciate it if you keep your hands to yourself. I don't appreciate being touched randomly like that," She said with a frown. "I'm sorry, I'll try to let you know before I touch you next time," he said with a smile, making her know he intended to touch her again. "We'll be attending the wedding tomorrow with you as my date. I hope you won't jump up everytime I touch you. that would raise suspicion don't you think?" He said with a wicked glint in his eyes "Isn't that what this whole week has been about? You have nothing to worry about, I'll do it right. But until then keep your hands to yourself." She said with a polite smile. We'll see about that. Tan thought. Mi Cha's Brother.

Nana sniffed the air in her sleep. She could smell the soup, but before she could decide what soup it was, she felt the splash of cold water on her face, and she angrily opened her eyes, "Are you not going to work?" Her father asked pleasantly.

She was having a severe case of hangover, so the bowl of soup her father extended to her was a welcome sight. She checked the time. It was past 7 am. The only good thing about her job was the fact that she could be late and could lie to them that she had been busy with a client.

"I will. I need a clear head first," She said, drinking from the soup. She would have been furious at her father for waking her up so harshly if he hadn't brought food along with him.

"Who is Tan?" He asked her curiously, making her eyes widen in surprise.

"Don't even think of lying to me. I heard you say you liked him last night," Mr. Lee said.

Ok, so she couldn't lie, but that didn't mean she had to exactly tell him everything, " He's a friend," She mumbled.

"A friend you're in love with when you have a boyfriend?" Mr. Lee prodded.

"I'll never be the kind of father to tell you what to do. I'll only advise you to do what is right. You better hurry up so I can drop you off at work," He said when she refused to answer his question.

She closed her eyes after he left. What else had she said in her drunken state? She wondered. She poured out the contents of her bag on the bed. She needed to be sure that she hadn't lost anything, especially the house keys.

Mi Cha's Phone fell out amongst the other contents. She picked it up and looked at it curiously. Whose phone was this, and what was it doing in her bag?

She turned it on, and the picture on display was Mi Cha's, but she couldn't unlock it because of the security lock. When had Mi Cha dropped her phone? Nana wondered, and then she remembered Mi Cha had knocked her bag off the table mistakenly.

She must have mistakenly dropped her phone in the bag while picking up the other items, Nana said to herself. How could she get the phone back to Mi Cha, especially since she couldn't unlock it?

Then she remembered she had sent Mi Cha's elder brother a text message the previous day. Since they were together, she would call him so he could help her inform Mi Cha about her missing phone.

She dialed the number and waited for Mi Cha's brother to take his call.

Tan was about to dial Nana's number when her call came in. He stared at his phone in surprise when he saw the caller's Identity. Why was she calling him? Had she found out about his relationship with Mi Cha? It wasn't possible. He was just going to pick up the call and speak to her usually. What were the chances of her recognizing his voice anyway?

"Good morning, this is Lee Nana, and I'm Mi Cha's realtor, I'm sorry to disturb you, but I'll love to speak with your sister, Mi Cha," Nana said when Tan received the call.

He couldn't seem to find his voice to answer her, "Hello, are you there?" She asked politely but impatiently.

"Yea, Good morning. She's not here right now, but I'm sure she will drop by your office later to pick it up," He said in a voice that didn't sound like his.

Nana paused. Something was familiar about his voice. "Will you be coming with her? Since she said she needs your approval before making any decision concerning the house," She asked, wanting him to talk some more.

"That won't be necessary. We already agreed on the house," He said, feeling uncomfortable. He didn't want her to know he was Mi Cha's brother until he confirmed all he needed to.

Why was his voice reminding her so much of Tan's voice even though this person sounded like he was in a hurry to drop the call?

"Sorry, I didn't catch your name," She said with her eyes wide open.

"Nana, you're running late," Mr. Lee called out, his voice loud enough for Tan to hear on the other side.

"Mi Cha will come over to pick up the phone. Thanks for calling," Tan said, ignoring her question as he hung up the call. He let out a deep breath. What was he so scared of? Rejection maybe. His ex had left him for his cousin, and he couldn't risk confessing his feelings to someone who might be in love with his best friend.

Nana dimmed her eyes in suspicion. Was it possible that it was just a coincidence that the guy she had seen the previous day looked so much like Tan, and now Mi Cha's brother sounded so much like Tan too? Or was it just her mind playing tricks on her?

It was also possible that the guy she had seen was Tan and that he was Mi Cha's brother. Did that mean they were both toying with her? She was going to find out. When she did, and her suspicions turned out to be true, she would play the game along with them. For now, she had to prepare for work.

"Have you called her?" Mi Cha asked Tan as she walked towards the door, ready to go out.

"She called," He said, making her stop in her track.

"Really? What did she say? And what did you say to her?" She asked, walking back to sit beside him on the sofa as he told her about the call.

"Do you think she recognized your voice?" She asked.

Tan could feel his heart pounding against his chest violently.

"I'm not sure. She didn't sound like anything was out of place," He told her as she walked towards the door.

"I'll find out when I see her. I'll see you later," She said with a wave as she left.

He needed to think, and he had to figure out his next move. If he confirmed she indeed had feelings for him, then he would have to figure out a way to move her to Incheon. Without her knowledge, of course, he knew very well how stubborn she could be.

Maybe he could speak to her boss and devise a deal to benefit them all. That way, he would have her very close to himself before revealing anything, and then he could properly woo her.

But if she were in love with Ji-Tae, he would leave her alone. He frowned at the thought of leaving her alone, which didn't sit well with him. He would focus on receiving a positive answer. She just had to love him; what was there not to love?
