Forever, Jagiya. (Moonjo x Jongwoo)

Jongwoo was only meant to be his masterpiece. He was special. But Moonjo couldn't help but feel something more- a bit more excitement in the pit of his stomach every time he watched him take his clothes off. Moonjo was the weirdest of them all. Not to mention being the scariest. But why did Jongwoo keep poking at every small difference between the neighbor and Jieun? The difference in how they treat him? He knew about the flutter in his heart every time he heard the word coming out of his mouth. "Jagiya"

Sinister Smile

"I'll get going now. I have work tomorrow," Jongwoo said picking up his bag. That was a weird joke that Moonjo just made. As they sat down to have beer and meat that was made by the landlady, Moonjo joked about how its human flesh. He was already feeling a bit disturbed after seeing the dead body of a cat so he couldn't take another bite of the meat. Besides, it tasted weird as well.

As he walked down the corridor, he checked the closed door of the pervert's room, and thankfully it was locked. Something good happened for a change. At least the guy listened to the landlady.

After getting changed, Jongwoo checked the dust he left in between the laptop. It was still there, just like in the picture he clicked. He started writing his novel but at the back of his mind, a question kept poking at him. What was that smile? When the lights started flickering after Moonjo joked about it being human meat, for just a second, Jongwoo thought he saw him smile.

Sure, it was a joke and he could smile about the joke. But he knew the difference in a smile that was the caused out of humor and a smile...almost sinister.

The next day, Jongwoo was met with another annoying sight. The pervert was standing in front of his room holding a knife. He muttered, "I will kill you", before slamming the door on Jongwoo's face. He decided to let the incident go. He didn't want himself to go down to their level and say something bothersome. Furthermore, after leaving, he heard the landlady talk to a woman about how she reported a man gone missing. He could clearly remember her telling him how that man killed himself. He tried to listen to their conversation quietly, but much to his embarrassment, he got discovered peeking pretty soon.

Things were once again turning out to be bothersome. His boss wasn't making it any easier. He talked details about his life to others like its his right. He pretty much did and said whatever he wanted solely on the position he was in – Jongwoo's boss, the CEO of his company. For more than once a day, he thought about beating them to their death.

Well, other than that he expected one thing to be good. He was going to meet his girlfriend sooner than he thought.

[ TIME SKIP ]

It brought his mind to peace whenever he watched Jongwoo asleep. His cute little moves, scrunch of his nose, sweat settling on his forehead, eyebrows twitching, and finally waking himself up from a nightmare. Observing him was as exciting as peaceful. These were some of the most enjoyable moments he liked to keep with himself. The last traces of how his jagiya used to be before turning him into his masterpiece.

But there were also some things expected in the process of making his masterpiece. Like when he needed to use some of his precious hours into watching jagiya's every single move. Slowly manipulating him into believing that he was thinking of Moonjo so much that he could see him appear before himself.

The downside of the process is to see his own masterpiece getting involved with his useless partner. His so-called "girlfriend". That spiteful woman was a hindrance. Moonjo could feel his jagiya stray from the path he was meant to be in whenever she was around him. But it's fine. She's nothing that he can't tackle. No one could come between them.

Moonjo knew how women can be. He has had a countless number of patients who had several problems involving their partners. He was always open to listening to them before he started his work on them. There are conversations that he often shrugged off thinking of being a waste of time. Well, it was finally time to make some use of them.

To be honest, conversations in his workplace were really proving to be useful these days. He was able to find out about the policewoman who was investigating the area regarding the several dead cats found in the neighborhood. While he just mentioned how murderers start out by killing animals first out of amusement, the joke in his mind was quickly put off when he found out how she was suspicious of the people living in Eden Residence. He didn't want things to drag out further. He had to put off this woman. Thankfully, the people working for him left early and the security room was empty. He went ahead to switch off the computer and came out with a syringe, about to use it on her when she got a call. The call wouldn't have been an obstacle though. It was the fact that the woman revealed her location to the caller.

Everything about the day was pissing him off. To make things worse, the landlady tied up some woman on the fourth floor. He didn't care if she was her little plaything but he needed to remind her role. As long as everyone was following their routine, he couldn't care less about what they do.

Thankfully, jagiya was there to cool his head. Today was the day Jongwoo would get his drugs. And from his behavior, Moonjo could deduce the fact that Ms. Um pulled off the task. He watched from the little hole how Jongwoo stood still for minutes, before falling on the bed.

His mind went back to Ms. Um's words. "Will you take care of Room 303 tonight?"

No.

At least that wasn't in his plan. But...he felt restless. And there was barely any day in his life that he felt restless and didn't take care of the matter. This was different.

This never happened before with any of the masterpieces he wanted to create.

The desire to touch him. The desire to erase off any traces of that spiteful woman off his body. He knew he needed to take care of it.

There's no harm in it. He was interested in this newfound curiosity. He wanted to test it. Of course, keeping in mind that his path to make Jongwoo into a masterpiece doesn't get messed up. His jagiya wasn't going to wake up anytime soon anyway.

Chuckling, Moonjo walked out of his room and stared at the three men standing outside Jongwoo's room. Their job was done. They were no longer needed here. He motioned them to go away, and they abided by his gestures. The pervert lingered a bit longer, staring at Moonjo, before giving off a smirk in his direction and leaving.

He didn't want anyone to disturb their serene moment together. To be precise, he didn't want anyone to creep over their actions during their private time. Moonjo slowly unlocked the door using the duplicate key Ms. Um gave him, and entered the room.

"Sigh," Moonjo muttered licking his lips as a smile started creeping onto his face, "You can't remain so vulnerable, jagiya."
