MEESE Chp 10

MLML turned towards the direction where he heard the sound of an intruder coming from. He cast light once again upon his forearms, and the burst of light particles dispersed around the camp. Just on the verge of the end of his light particles, he spotted something. It looked to be a large 4-legged creature, it had antlers which led him to think it was a herbivore. It was massive in size though, it had snuck up on them relatively quietly for a creature this large. It was staring at them intently, its black eyes lacked emotion.

"Goblee, stay on guard I'm going to get closer to check this out".

MLML dropped to a handstand, which was really his way of seriously running. He leaped with his arms from one tree to the next to get a good look at the beast.

He landed with his final forearm jumping 2 trees or so away from the beast, now able to fully see the monster from above. It looked straight up at him with some curiosity. It had clearly never seen a human move the way MLML had.

Now getting a clearer picture MLML was in awe, it looked similar to a moose shape wise but that was the only similarity. Its head had antlers, they were made of brown fungi growing straight out of its like spears. Its body was larger than that of a moose as well, it was about 18 feet tall and similarly long. It did not have fur, it had mushy fungi around its entire body of a variety of greens and browns. It blended in splendidly with its surroundings due to this earthy-toned camouflage. Then MLML noticed a red flag, it didn't have hooves like most herbivores. It had massive fleshy paws with claws peeking out from them.

That was when Goblee came out of nowhere, spear drew towards the beast. He gave a warrior's cry as he rushed to the moose-like animal. The beast simply looked down and began to charge as it planted its antlers toward Goblee. Goblee underestimated his opponent gravely. He was pierced in the abdomen by the fungi antlers, as blood splattered onto Goblee's clothes and on the fleshy skin of the monster.

MLML was frozen, it had happened again, how could it? He let his apprentice get harmed without him being able to react in time.

He was heated, and he threw himself with his bulging forearm from the tree to the back of the moose-like creature.

He was a different person, he was acting on pure rage and instinct driven by the loss of Craig and the possibility of losing another friend.

He grabbed the moose by its fungi horns and pulled them outwards with all his strength.

They fell off 8 months too early, they were pulled out of the moose's head, and flesh clung to the bottom of each antler.

MLML dropped to the ground as he took the impaled Goblee with him who was still attached to the antler. The other still in his hand, he faced the beast again while Goblee was slumped over unconscious behind him.

The Beast was not out of tricks, it lacked antlers but still had weapons that could slaughter an entire party of adventurers.

It charged and opened its mouth to a 90-degree angle, inside its mouth was several rows of long serrated teeth. Each one had to be at least 2 inches long. It looked like the mouth of a shark, if it was a moose, and on land.

MLML leaps in the air powered by his forearms, and he screams, "Damn, Author you really didn't try with that simile".

He yucks the antler down the throat of the creature, on the way down its throat, 100's of teeth shatter due to MLML's javelin-hucking ability. Degraded back to its natural element, now nothing but powdered calcium phosphate. Still, in the air, he 360's to gather more momentum, while also doing it to look cool. He sweeps the front legs of the beast as they shatter to the side of the animal. It is no longer able to move, it just shrieks in pain as it tries to use its hind legs to escape looking like a truck without the front wheels. MLML is feeling merciful so it brings his arm up and down in one smooth motion obliterating the animal's skull. Shrapnel from its bones scatter, it knicks up MLML's body everywhere, but his forearms deflect it with ease. The creature had been peacefully put down as MLML turns to Goblee. He cast a spell under his breath as he walks over to Goblee with his forearms glowing he begins to scream.

"Fuck you, you weak piece of shit, you are not a good student, your irrational, your kinda fat, and lack any sort of ability." He continues to pound upon his lifeless body. He shows his friend mercy with his hundreds of punches putting him to sleep. MLML's eyes fill with tears, he sits back against a tree and looks up to the sky.

"What have I done I could have lost another one".
