Chapter 79

 Priscilla's POV

As beads of sweat formed on my forehead, my heart raced so fast I thought it might explode. I had lied to Max, and now I was kidnapped. The worst part was dragging Liz into my madness. How could we possibly get out of this situation? It was all because of that stupid Guccie. Liz and I had come to this club to gather information about her, with the promise of one of her friends sharing dark secrets. But that so-called friend turned out to be an old hag, uncle Dave. Why couldn't he just grow up for once? He thought he was still a teenager, but he was clearly a middle-aged man.

"We should have told Max the truth. He's going to chop off our heads and bury us in the backyard. I'm sure no one would ever find us!" I whispered to Liz.

"Is that all you're thinking about right now, Priscilla?" Liz whispered back.
