What happened

Lucien discarded the pile of broken limbs around the carriage and leaped to attack the Emperor.

The guards swiftly positioned themselves in front to defend the Emperor. Their flying swords started to move out of their hands and target Aiden.

But he was unfazed. This did not stop him at all. Instead of raising his bone blade to deflect these attacks, he just let it swiftly pass him.

Lucien took a hesitant step forward. He started to run and get to Aiden's current location as fast as possible.

A cold wind blew past Lucien's shoulders. His instinct warned him something was coming. To avoid the attack, he crouched and took a quick side step. But it was relentless and determined to take him down.

Even if he was on his knees, it continued to come at him straight on. He rolled out and almost got trampled by the panicking people around him.
