Unexpected Revelation

Dexter decided to leave the studio early. He felt a twinge of guilt for keeping the mysterious message a secret from Yashi and Naisargi. He tried to push the thoughts to the back of his mind as he grabbed his car keys and made his way out of the building.

He got in his car, started the engine and drove through the streets. As he pulled up to the designated place, he took a deep breath and tried to steady his nerves. He knew that he had to be careful and couldn't let his guard down.

He stepped out of the car, and with a determined look on his face, he made his way towards the entrance of the cafe, ready to face whatever lay ahead.

Dexter sat nervously in the cafe, his eyes darting around the room as he waited for the person who had summoned him there. The minutes ticked by. He began to wonder if he had been stood up. Just then, he noticed a figure making way towards him. It was a woman, her face obscured by a hood. He couldn't quite make out her features, but something about her seemed familiar. As she drew closer, Dexter felt that he had seen her before, but was unable to recall it.

The woman sat down across from Dexter, her hood still obscuring her face. "Thank you for meeting me here, Dexter," she said, her voice soft and timid.

Dexter leaned forward, studying her closely. "I'm sorry, do I know you?" he asked, trying to place the familiar voice.

"You might not remember me. I am your junior from the college," she said, her voice laced with gratitude. "But I'll never forget how you stood up for me when I was bullied in college. You were there when no one else was."

Dexter's eyes widened in recognition. "Of course, I remember you now," he said, a smile creeping onto his face. "It's good to see you again."

The woman smiled back at him, "I'm so glad you remember. I'm working for E-phen now and I overheard something yesterday that I think you should know. The new designer who joined after Miss Yashi left has secretly plans to ruin YB 7's reputation."

Dexter's expression turned serious. "What do you mean?" he asked, his tone filled with concern.

"I overheard her talking on the phone, she's planning to sabotage your upcoming show and make sure YB 7's reputation is tarnished," the woman said, her voice filled with worry. "I couldn't just sit by and watch that happen, not after everything you did for me."

Dexter sat back in his chair, his mind racing as he processed this new information. "Thank you for bringing this to my attention," he said, his voice steady and determined.

"Do you know anything else? Their intention? Plan?" he asked, leaning forward in his seat.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't hear more," she replied, her voice low and filled with regret. "But I do know that they have several of your designs and they're planning to use them to ruin YB 7's reputation. I had to leave before anyone suspected anything."

Dexter's heart sank as he took in this information. He couldn't believe that someone would stoop so low as to steal designs and use them to harm his and Yashi's business. He thanked the woman for coming forward and for her help.

"I can't thank you enough for coming to me with this information," Dexter said, his voice filled with gratitude.

"I just hope it's not too late," she replied, her tone filled with worry. "I have to go now before anyone sees us together. Please be careful, Dexter. I don't want anything bad to happen to you."

With that, the woman quickly got up from her seat and left the cafe, leaving Dexter to process the shocking news she had just shared with him.

Yashi and Naisargi made their way back to the studio from venue. While parking the car, they noticed that Dexter's car was missing from the parking lot. They exchanged worried glances, both wondering where he could have gone. As they entered the studio, they found that his work station was empty. They tried calling him, but his phone was unavailable. They were left with nothing but to wait. Yashi tried to maintain her composure, but feeling of unease that was creeping in.

She turned to Naisargi, "Let's continue our work, there's nothing else we can do at this moment. We'll wait for Dexter to return."

Naisargi nodded, but she seemed tensed. They both tried to focus on their work, but their minds were preoccupied with thoughts of Dexter and what could have possibly caused him to leave the studio without a word.

Dexter was still in the cafe, his mind filled with worry and confusion. He felt like he was in the middle of a storm, with no clear path forward. But then, he remembered the words of his late grandmother, who had always told him that the first thing to do in a difficult situation was to calm down and sort out one's own thoughts. With her wise words in mind, Dexter took a deep breath and tried to steady himself. He closed his eyes and focused on his breathing, trying to clear his mind of all distractions. As he sat there in silence, he began to think more clearly and rationally.

Dexter pulled out his phone and sent a message to Yashi, asking her to meet him at their usual restaurant that night for dinner. He knew that they needed to talk, and he wanted to make sure that they had the time and safe space to do so.

The day came to an end, the team at YB 7 began to pack up their work and head home. Naisargi's mind was still fixated on Dexter's sudden departure from the studio earlier in the day. She turned to Yashi, "Do you think something's wrong? Dexter's still not back yet."

Yashi thought about telling Naisargi about Dexter's message for a moment, but decided against it. It was best to wait until she had more information, she thought.

"Don't worry about Dexter," Yashi said with a reassuring smile. "Let's go home and get some rest, we have a big day ahead of us tomorrow." She added.

The rest of the team left the studio one by one, Yashi and Naisargi were the last to leave. Naisargi nodded and they both headed out, closing the door to the studio behind them. Though she was still worried about Dexter's whereabouts, she knew that Yashi had everything under control and she didn't need to worry.

Yashi reached their usual place and walked into the restaurant, she saw Dexter sitting at their usual table, deep in thought.
