Awaiting for evening

Dexter made his way home after a long night of working with Yashi, his mind was racing with thoughts of the mysterious message he had received. He couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had settled in his stomach. He tried to focus on the positive, on the changes they had made to the designs, but it was no use. He felt as if something was off-kilter, as if something was about to happen. He strongly felt that something was about to go wrong.

Once he reached home, he found himself unable to relax. He paced around his apartment, trying to make sense of the message but left him with more questions. He tried to watch TV, read a book, but nothing seemed to hold his attention. He found himself constantly checking his phone, as if the message would provide some sort of answers. But it remained silent.

He tried to sleep but it was a fitful night, filled with strange dreams. He woke up feeling drained and exhausted. He knew that he needed to focus on the show, but the message and the feeling of restlessness continued to linger in the back of his mind.

The next day, as he made his way to the studio, YB 7, he was not his usual self. He was more reserved, and he couldn't shake off the feeling of anxiety that seemed to cling to him. He tried to focus on his work, but he found himself easily distracted, his thoughts drifting back to the message. He didn't share his concerns with anyone, not wanting to worry Yashi or Naisargi.

Naisargi noticed that Dexter seemed off. He was quieter than usual and seemed preoccupied. Naisargi approached him and asked if everything was alright, but Dexter just shrugged it off and made a comment about being exhausted from working late the night before. Despite his words, Naisargi felt that something was troubling him. She didn't press the issue further with Dexter.

Naisargi went to Yashi and explained how Dexter has been acting differently, and how she was worried that something was bothering him. Yashi asked Naisargi to continue her work and not to worry, she would look over it.

"Dexter, can I speak with you in my office for a moment?" Yashi asked Dexter, who was staring at the sketches blankly. Dexter followed Yashi to her office. Yashi continued, "Is everything okay?"

Dexter replied with a chuckle "Oh, you know Naisargi, always so nosy. I'm just a bit tired, that's all."

"You've seemed a bit distracted since last night. Is there something else going on?" Yashi asked. "No, no. I promise, just a bit tired. Don't worry." Dexter quickly replied approaching the door to walk out from the office. Yashi thought not to ask further and let him go. "Okay, well if there's anything you need to talk about, my door is always open." She added.

Dexter left the office with a small smile trying to hide the distress though still visible on his face.

Yashi made her way to Macy. She greeted Macy with a friendly smile and asked about her the progress on the projects. As they chatted, Yashi casually mentioned that she wanted to check the measurements of the models for the upcoming show, making it seem like a routine task. She made sure to keep the conversation light and easy-going.

While looking over the measurements, Yashi made small talk. She checked the work Macy was working on, appreciated it and left the room.

Dexter realised that he had to play it cool. He couldn't let anyone suspect. So, as he passed by Naisargi, he playfully teased her, "Someone's looking extra nosy today. What's on your mind?" Naisargi rolled her eyes and laughed, "Just trying to keep up with you and your shenanigans."

As Dexter approached Keysha who was working with fabrics, he made a quick remark "Hey Keysha, you look like a true fashionista today! You're going to have all the fabrics falling head over heels for you!" Keysha laughed while continuing her work.

With his witty comments and fun-loving attitude, Dexter was able to make the atmosphere lively. But inside, he couldn't shake off the feeling of uncertainty about the mysterious message he had received and what it could possibly mean.

Yashi called Naisargi over to her office. "Naisargi, I need you to come with me to check the venue for the show. We need to make sure everything is in order," Yashi said.

Naisargi and Yashi stepped out of the studio. As they made their way down to the basement of the studio, Naisargi couldn't help but bring up her concerns about Dexter's behavior. "I know you noticed it too, Yashi. Something's not right with Dexter. Do you know what's going on?"

Yashi replied calmly, "I know, Naisargi. I've been trying to get him to open up to me, but he's not saying much. I think he may have his own reasons for not wanting to talk about it."

Naisargi nodded, "I just hope he's okay. He's always been like a brother to me, and I don't like seeing him like this."

Yashi smiled comfortingly, "But we have to trust that he'll come to us when he's ready. In the meantime, let's focus on the show and making sure everything runs smoothly."

Upon reaching the venue, they walked around the space, carefully inspecting the lighting, the stage, the sound and the seating arrangements. Yashi made a few notes and discussed any necessary adjustments with Naisargi. As they walked, the two continued to talk about the upcoming show and went over their plan for the final preparations.

As the day progressed, Dexter found himself growing more and more anxious. He couldn't help but keep checking his phone for the time. He tried to keep himself calm by making small talk with Cailey and the interns who were working on the client's order. He jokingly commented on Cailey, "Wow, you're really putting in the hours today. I'm impressed." and also asked the interns "How are you all holding up? You're all working so hard, I hope you're not going to burn out." His light-hearted comments made him feel no better.
