The Day Awaited

The next day Keysha and Macy discovered the bitter truth that their designs were leaked and found it extremely hard to digest. They were on verge of panic. Naisargi comforted them and reassured that the new designs have been ready and there is nothing to worry.

Cailey was at the studio with the interns preparing for the client's order due next week.

The day of the fashion show was hectic and chaotic. Everyone was running around, making sure everything is set, the models were getting ready for their walks on the runway.

As the show began, the host took to the stage to introduce the special guest of the evening. "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the renowned fashion designer, Ivan!" The crowd erupted in applause as Ivan made his way to the front row, taking a seat next to Warta.

Warta is a tall woman with a fair complexion and striking blonde hair. Her brown eyes are a striking contrast against her pale skin. She was dressed in a sleek black suit, her hair styled in a sleek bob. She had on a pair of dark sunglasses and carried a small clutch in her hand.

Yashi who sitting on the end of second row far away from their seats was surprised to see him, as he had told her that he would be coming next month. But now, looking at Warta's behavior, it made much more sense. She somehow knew that Ivan was going to be there and wanted to ruin Yashi's reputation in front of him.

As Ivan settled into his seat, the host continued, "Ivan has been a mentor and inspiration to many young designers in the industry, and we are honored to have him with us tonight." The crowd clapped once more as the host went on to introduce the first designs of the evening from E-phen.

The designs they showcased received a positive response and cheer from the audience.

Warta, sitting next to Ivan in the front row seemed extremely happy when models came out presenting E-phen's designs. Yashi watched as Warta leaned over to Ivan and whispered something in his ear.

As YB 7's turn approached after few other, her eyes were scanning the runway intently. She had been looking forward to this moment, eager to see what is in the store. She had clearly expected to see the original designs with last minute tweaks or complete cancellation of the designs and was caught off guard by the changes. However, as YB 7's designs were revealed, her mood changed dramatically. Her face twisted into a frown and her body language became tense as she realized that the designs had been changed. She was visibly upset and couldn't hide her disappointment as she watched the models walk down the runway. She seemed frustrated with herself for not having anticipated this turn of events.

Yashi knew that the designs were not upto mark she had in mind but they have done they could and was happy as they have saved the day.

Warta quickly walked away. At some distance, she pulled out her phone and dialed a number. She spoke quickly and urgently, her voice low so that no one else could hear her conversation.

Dexter noticed Warta's sudden departure and became suspicious. He decided to follow her discreetly, keeping a safe distance so as not to arouse suspicion. He watched as Warta spoke on the phone, her expression becoming increasingly agitated. He could see the anger and frustration etched on her face and he knew that something was definitely up. He tried to overhear her, his curiosity and sense of caution making him stay as close as possible but he was unable to hear it clearly. He wanted to know who Warta was talking to and what information they had on YB 7's designs.

Warta hung up her phone and made her way back to her seat. He watched as she took her seat, her face set in a deep scowl. Dexter too went back to his own seat, trying to piece together what had just happened. He was determined to find out what it was. He sat down and tried to focus on the show, but his mind was racing with suspicions and theories.

After the show, Warta asked Ivan with a smile, "So, Ivan, what did you think of E-phen's designs?

"All the designs were great, Warta," Ivan said, a hint of a smile on his face. "You always manage to put on a fantastic show."

"Thank you, Ivan," Warta said, her own smile broadening. "And what did you think of YB 7's designs?"

"I was expecting a bit more from them, to be honest," Ivan said, his expression becoming more thoughtful. "But they were still good nonetheless. I'm sure they'll continue to improve with time."

"I hope so," Warta said, her smile broadening slightly.

Dexter walked up to the two of them. "Excuse me, I couldn't help but overhear your conversation," he said, addressing Ivan. "I'm Dexter, the senior designer for YB 7."

"Nice to meet you, Dexter," Ivan said, offering his hand to shake.

"Likewise," Dexter replied, shaking Ivan's hand.

He then turned to Warta, and his expression was cold, "We would continue working hard to improve our designs and not rob of other's fruits."

Warta looked taken aback by Dexter's comment. "What are you talking about?" she asked, her voice tight.

"Nothing, just a thought that crossed my mind," Dexter replied nonchalantly, but the look in his eyes made it clear that the comment was referring to her.

Warta looked visibly uncomfortable, and she seemed to be at a loss for words. Ivan, meanwhile, looked confused by the exchange.

"Where is Yashi?" Ivan asked Dexter, looking around the room for her.

Warta, feeling jealous, interjected, "Oh, she's probably just busy. Let's go meet some of the other guests," she said, trying to pull Ivan's arm.

Dexter pointed towards the place where Yashi was standing.

Ivan, taking off Warta's hand politely said, "Excuse me, Warta. I'd like to meet Yashi first before meeting any other guests."

Warta unwillingly replied, "Okay then. I'll just go and speak with some of the other guests."

Ivan walks towards Yashi. Dexter's eyes fixed on Warta and his mind racing with questions.
