First Mission
Tomorrow, me and Light will go to the Institute. I will disguise as a staff, while he will become a male nurse. We will join the others to protect the humans and to find out who the culprit is. Rolando look too young because he is 17 after all, disguise as a patient who got schizophrenia. Tough one to act, good thing it's not me. Takeshi disguised as one of the teacher and Matt disguise as a Janitor.
The institute or the Saint Augustine Institute for Special Help looks bigger than the pictures, and looks older too. It's in the province of Aklan, the city of aswangs, I said it to Light and this made him worried. Apparently aswangs is one of the fallen diwatas, formerly an Etere. They have wings and can transform into winged animals. They prey on human livers and heart. This will complicate our mission.
I looked into the patients profiles, one of them catch my attention. The others pretty much have same cases as the others, but this guy is rare. His name is Eric Madridejos. He is an androphobic, or a guy who got a morbid fear to men, funny right? He is 5'5, one inch shorter than me, black hair, slim body and fair skin. He is cute, with dimples. His record states that he is sweet to all girls but he is too afraid to guys that he will start to hyperventilate at the sight of them. He never said why he is afraid of guys. It is a complete mystery.
"Pack your things now, so we can leave at 6 am in the morning," Light said to me.
"What the, 6 am! It is still in the middle of the freaking night!" I'm really hate waking up at 10 am, but 6! It's a death sentence.
"6 am is morning, Kelvin. Not the middle of the night."
"It is for me." He really is torturing me.
"Pack your things tonight and we leave 6 in the morning, end of discussion." Then Light leave.
"I really, really, hate him." I go back into my room to pack.
In the past, I pack light, because I don't have enough clothes. But now, Light and the others buy me many clothes and accessories. It is so many that it makes me want to vomit. I just shove anything to my bag, the ones my hands reach and take. I'm not a neat freak. The only one that I do neatly is the water I pour in a glass. Everything I own, dirty or clean is a mess.
I pack the files that I need for the mission. And I came across to another unusual case. His name is Carlo Gotiangco. He is a pyromaniac. This guy has a strong fascination with fire. He is so obsessed with it that he burns everything to see fire consumes it. I never know that there is someone can be so obsessed with fire.
I set my alarm to 6 am and get myself ready to sleep. Tomorrow is my first mission as Four Child, and I admit it I'm nervous as heck.
I'm excited to see the others, I haven't seen them for two months, and I missed them. The first thing that I notice when we enter the institute is cheerfulness, there is others who is frowning but almost all of them are overflowing with happiness. An old strict looking guy approaches us.
"Welcome, I'm Dr. Fernando Gainza, and you are?" Dr. Gainza looks at us succinctly, it is like he is looking at our souls, and it's a little bit disconcerting.
"I'm Mr. Light Dragoniv the new male nurse, and this is my friend Kelvin Reyes the new staff." Light introduced us with eased.
"I notice there we have many international friends coming to our institute, how interesting." Dr. Gainza said.
"Dr. Caday recommend--"
"I know that Dr. Caday recommended you two, as well as Mr. Yamamoto and Mr. Cooper. I don't know why we're hiring you four, because we don't need any employees right now. But it is the supervisor who recommended you all so I don't have any reason to rejects you guys." Dr. Gainza said while he led us to our respective station.
Even if I am not ready, the mission just started.
