Aswang

For three months they are here, and a month for me, we still never encounter other death victims. Rolando thinks that Shadow back down when he sees us, but Light thinks otherwise. He still trains us for the next month on how to use our weapon. I still work as a staff orderly in the Institute for the remainder of the day and when it is lunch time and dinner time I dressed us a female staff and visits Eric's room. For a month Eric treats me warily until gradually accept me as his friend that he waits for me every day. He still never told me what happen to him, but I wait patiently. I never kiss him though, I'm still afraid of what he's going to do if I kiss him. Ironically he is gay; he shows me his book and manga with gay themes. He said that he can admire them from afar, but if they are near them he will start to panic. He is 14 yrs. old when he is confine into the Institute but he didn't tell me why. Now he is 21, one year older than me, and he never still overcomes his fear.

There is one night that I almost discovered by him. We were talking about our favorite horror film when the light goes out. We are frightened because of what we are discussing that we both scream and curses coming from Eric. He hugged me and his chest felt my fake, bread boobs.

"Is breast supposed to feel like that?" He asked me when we separated.

"Yes it is you perv! Don't ask a girl like that." Woo! That was close. My neck felt his breath that stimulates my libido. And his hands are on my arm and legs. I am having a hard on, and I am wearing a skirt. Oh please don't turn back the lights...

"We have to find some candles; there is a big one in my drawer behind you. Can you get it, please?" He asked me.

When I turned to get it, his hand that is holding my leg slip between then, and he touched my... oh my... he just touch my... fudge it felt so good! Oh wait... oh no...I immediately stand up, and hurriedly give the candle to his hand.

"What is that between your legs? Is that a fuck... are you a ma---"

"What are you saying? It is just the candle." Please... just please believe me...

"Huh, you got the candle that fast and put it between your legs?"

"Yeah that's right, I have it when you ask me to get it, I know where it is before you said it to me."

"But it felt bigger than this." Why, thank you...

"Nah, it is your imagination..." I laughed awkwardly and feel my own erection, dang it the skirt is lumpy because of it. And then the lights turn on, and I need to sit fast and hid my crotch to the side of the bed.

"What are you doing" He is amused at me.

"I just got scared all of a sudden."

"You just got scared, from the turning light?"

"Yeah, I really am jumpy tonight, eh? I have to go now, it's late." And I slowly turn away stand and run.

That was the scary but slightly enjoyable night of my life.

By the end of the month we are now accustomed to our Arma that Light ask us to use it as weapon. I only saw mine as handle, and I never saw Light use it. So I ask him to demonstrate for me how. He grabs my weapon and it became a sword so bright that it nearly blinds us before he gave it to me again. When I hold it, I imagine a sword and then a fiery sword appears to the handle. It is easy for me to swing because the fire on the sword is mine. I gave my element a boost inside the Arma and swing it again and there is a fire wave that erupts, whoa. When I look into the others they have a strong fascination with their weapon as well. Rolando's arrow is like homing missiles, it always follows the target. Matt's flail became a spiky rock that he can make it bigger or smaller, he is strong so he can handle it and the earth follows him so there's no problem with that. And Takeshi's magnum, well it have a water bullets in them, but I think it has a purpose when Light whisper something to him and Takeshi smirks. Light came back to me and said that my weapon is a handle so make a new weapon like form. With that I train myself to transform my weapon into a sword, spear, flail and a whip. I imitate Matt's skill with my handle but I can't do it. Light reminded me that every Arma Magicis is different from each other.

For two more weeks we train more before Light ask for a meeting in Rolando's room again. He has a grim expression on his face so we know it is serious. At 9 o'clock in the evening before lights out we are all on Rolando's room.

"Now that we all here, I will start to brief you to our sub mission" Light says giving us some folder to read.

"When Kelvin told me that this city is rumored to be the aswangs lair. I start to investigate it; to my disappointment the diwatas hide this piece of information for century because they are afraid to the Alpha of the Aswang. Now our job is to kill the Alpha so the aswang race in this city will scatter" When Matt raises his hand, Light stop for a second.

"But why we have to kill the Alpha only? Can we kill all of the aswang here?"

"No we can't, killing all of them can cause us a war to the fallen, we don't need that now. All we need is for them to have no leader for a moment so they don't stay here."

Takeshi raised his hand and says "what if we killed the Alpha, it will not cause a war?"

"Not if we have a plan, if we make it show that they attacked first. If we have that evidence they can't demand retaliation to us. We just have to make sure that we kill a minimum number of them so the other fallen don't step up."

"So what's the plan?" I asked.

"We need Matt as bait because he can hide his weapon on earth so it looks like he doesn't have one; I know that Shadow knew who you guys are so his alpha will knows it too. Matt will have to wander outside of the institute at night near the aswang's lair. We need to make sure he looks like he's alone. When the Alpha attacks him, that's where we come out."

"How we will know that the Alpha will show, not other aswang?" Matt asked, he is not fazed when Light ask him to be a bait.

"As same as Shadow, when an Alpha kills a Four Child they became stronger. Because Shadow gave them this ability to help him govern his fallen and kill you guys. So when an Alpha saw one of you, they will want to kill you. Again guys read your fucking book! "Light says to us, so there five person who will want to kill us? Yay! "The Alphas are the other version of you guys, they used to be human to until they are chosen to evolve as engkantos. When we kill them, we also absorb their power… so do your best."

"I know that you are not ready yet, but we need to eliminate this threat before we search the possess one. We really have to make sure that the Aswangs are not helping Shadow to kill their victims in this Institute." Light starts to thoroughly discuss the plan to us.

This is it... we are going to execute the plan now. It takes us one week before we perfected the plan. We need to train ourselves to move unnoticed into the trees while Matt is walking alone below us. We can do it when we shift as a diwata but Light and I were glowing when we shift so we have to do it as a human. And then Matt trains himself to let the land move his Arma when it is inside the earth so it can follow him as he walk.

The four of us is in the top of the trees as Matt is walking below us. My heart is beating faster, because if this mission proceeds as plan this will be my first battle. Matt walk for 40 minutes before an aswang appears in front of Matt.

"Good evening Mondiale, what brings you and your friends here." Then he look into the trees were Rolando is hiding and then he smiles. How did he know that we are here?!

When I look into Rolando's tree and I saw another aswang behind him, claws retracted and ready to strike. I start to call him but a claw is suddenly appears in my neck and someone whisper from behind me. "Don't scream boy, or I will slash your neck." This is not happening; it is not according to Light's plan. We thought that the Alpha will come alone, fudge! If I don't scream Rolando will be in great danger, but I do it I will be dead.

There's nothing I can do, I breathe slowly and readying myself to warn him…
