Chapter 10
Lani's POV
After Kayden and Lucas were separated, I quickly got in-between them. I looked at Lucas, I can't believe he would really try to take my mate away from me! How could he betray my trust like that?
"What is wrong with you?" I shout at him.
"I told you I have a promise to keep, after everything I told you yesterday. Did you think I wouldn't fight to have you by my side?"
"You have no right to try and take my mate away from me! And there is one thing you are forgetting."
"What's that?"
"I would never be with you." I state, and it's the truth.
I would never be with Lucas after seeing what he tried to do today. When I first arrived at his pack it was something I would have considered, but now that I found my mate there would be no chance for Lucas and I.
I watch the expression on Lucas's face change from shock, to hurt, then anger. He looks at Kayden.
"This is your fault. And I will do whatever I have to to have Lani by my side."
After that he turns and leaves the school, pushing the people who have gathered aside.
"Alright people! Shows over move along!" I shout to everyone watching.
As everyone races away, I walk up to Kayden. He embraces me in a tight hug.
"I'm sorry." I whispered.
He lifts my chin so I'm staring into his eyes. "You have nothing to apologize for."
I nod my head and he leans down to kiss me. Before our lips met someone clears their throat. I look to the side to see Nohea. I sigh, getting out of Kayden's hug to go check on Nohea.
"Are you ok?"
He shakes his head.
'He wants to talk but I don't know if I'm ready.' He mind links me.
'You should at least hear him out. If you don't agree with what he says go back to the pack house.' I link back.
'I can't stay in Lucas's pack, and neither should our parents. You know they'll leave once they learn what happened.'
'I know. So, if you hear out your mate and don't agree or need time then go back home.'
Nohea nods and gives me a hug. "I'll let them know what happened, for now let's go."
I nod in agreement.
"Where are you going?" Ezra quickly asks us.
I can see the fear in his eyes, he thinks his mate will leave without giving him a chance. Although Nohea agreed to listen to him, he did not agree to give him a chance.
"We're going with you guys." Nohea says.
"Can we go back to your pack house?" I ask Kayden.
He nods, takes my hand and leads us out of the school towards a car. The four of us get in. Kayden and I upfront and Nohea and Ezra in the back. I look back and see Nohea looking out the window, but his eyes are far away. I know he's linking our parents to let them know what happened.
We arrive at the pack house; Ezra leads Nohea inside and Kayden and I follow. They both turn towards a sitting area and Kayden leads me upstairs.
My breathing picks up as I know he's taking me to his room. And I already know what's about to happen.

As soon as we are inside his room and he closes the door, he turns around and captures my lips in a hungry kiss.
He picks me up and I wrap my legs around his waist, I can already feel his hardness brushing against my sex. I let out a moan, the friction feels so good it makes my panties wet.
Kayden's walks us to his bed, taking my shirt off in the process and lays me down gently. He trails kisses down my neck and starts leaving little bits. He finds my sweet spot and I let out another moan.
He continues his trail of kisses down to my breast. His hand reaches under me to unhook my bra. Once it's off he takes one nipple in his mouth and start massaging my other breast. After a minute he releases my nipple only to move to the other one.
After he's done, he continues down my stomach. Once he reaches my jeans, he looks up at me. I nod my head letting him know he can continue.
He quickly unsnaps my jeans and pulls them and my underwear off in a few tugs. He grabs my legs and spread them apart before licking my sex. I arch my back and release a loud moan.
I hear him groan, "you taste so good."
Before I can respond he licks me a few more times, before sucking on my bundle of nerves. As he's doing this, he inserts a finger into me and starts pumping it in and out. Shortly after he adds a second finger.
I can't stop the sounds I'm releasing. I feel my stomach tightening before I let go. Kayden sucks up all of my juices.
He gets up and crawls up my body, leaning down he gives me a kiss letting me taste myself. I feel his tip at my entrance and moan into the kiss. He takes this as encouragement and starts to push into me.
Once he comes to my barrier he stops and looks at me. I nod and pull him down for a kiss, I feel him pull back before thrusting forward and breaking the barrier. I let out a small cry of pain that quickly turns into a moan as he continues moving in and out of me.
We break the kiss and are both panting. I begin kissing his neck until I find his sweet spot and suck the skin, leaving a hickey.
I begin to feel the tightening in my stomach again and feel Kayden moving at a more frantic pace, he must be close too.
"Ready?" He asks.
"Yes" I moan out.
Kayden and I lean towards each other and bite where our shoulder and neck meet, marking the other as our mate. The pleasure of the mark makes both of us release.
Kayden rolls off of me, both of us are still panting.

Kayden gets up and goes to the attached bathroom, a moment later he comes out with a damp rag. After he cleans both of us up and he gets both of us a clean pair of clothes from his closet. Once dressed he holds my hand as we start walking out of the room.
