You sighed in content as you walked down one of the many hallways of the Lost Light. You had just gotten a nice long night of rest. Nothing to plague your dreams with nightmarish thoughts. Not even the DJD.

Instead you had been dreaming about the Lost Lighters and their amazing adventures. You guys had been out fishing for giant fish, swimming in many underwater areas, seen amazing coral reefs. Now that you think about it, a lot of the places had been underwater.

You stopped in your tracks however, when you noticed that the end of the hallways you had turned to was completely dark at the end. Except for one thing, the pool of pink energon.

Your eyes widened in horror as you knew that it wasn't just some of the energon they drink. No this was their equivalent of blood. "Y/N." You heard a voice groan out your name as you noticed an arm reaching out from the darkness.

And next you saw Rewinds faceplate. "Y/N." He groaned once again, slowly crawling towards you, but he was having some difficulty since his lower half plus one arm was completely torn off. "Y/N. Why?"

You took a step back from the crawling corpse. "Why, Y/N?" You opened your mouth, wanting to answer, but you didn't know what to say. You didn't even know what was going on.

"Why didn't you save us?" That line made a shiver crawl down your spine. Why didn't you save them? A normal question you asked yourself. Everyday. Anywhere and everywhere. It was usually accompanied by; "Why didn't you do more?"

Ah, there it was. Tears brimmed in your eyes as the room began turning in your vision. You wanted to throw up at the sight that was revealed when the lights at the end of the tunnel turned on.

There, right in front of you was corpse after corpse, stacked in one big pile. Everyone from Rodimus to Magnus. And the cherry on top was Tarn. Standing with a puffed out chest, holding Ambs, a dead Ambs, in his hand.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. You poor thing. You really think that we would let you leave forever? Oh no, but then again, you always knew that we would come for you. And you knew that you doomed the crew when you came onboard here."

You shook your head, backing away when Tarn let go of Ambs, walking forward, down the hill of Autobots. On his way to you, he stepped on Rewind, letting a sickening crunch ring out through the hallway.

"Come home. You know that you're our special little human and that we couldn't live without you." You shook your head again, this time a little harder and faster. "No, I don't-"

You got cut off as you hit a wall. A wall that you didn't know was there. And it was a lot closer than you had thought. That was until you looked up. It wasn't a wall, it was Helex.

He picked your up, against your protests. "Come on little one. Let's go home." You kept struggling as you were transferred from one crazy 'con to the next. Tarn cradled you softly as he walked away from the dead crew.

You kept struggling with all of your power. "Y/N." You didn't stop, you didn't falter, even if it began to hurt. "Y/N!" You never looked up at Tarn, not even if the voice didn't sound like him.

"Y/N wake up!" You shot up, banging your head against something hard, something metallic. You cracked open one of your eyelids, hoping that it wasn't Tarn. And to your relief it wasn't. It was Rewind.

"Oh no! Are you okay?" Rewind had put one of his servos on your back, holding you still as he scanned over where you had hit your head. "I think you might need to go see Ratchet."

You held up your hand to silence him. "No need. I'm fine." Rewind looked unsure of your answer. "Are you sure? I don't want you to be in any kind of pain, or distress for that matter. You kept turning and yelling in your sleep."

You looked up at Rewind, recalling the nightmare like you were still in it. And you recalled the way Rewind was looking, all torn to pieces. You quickly lunged forward, hugging him tightly. "It was just a nightmare. I'm going to see Rung later today anyways."

Rewind hugged you back, still unsure of your answers. "If you say so." He slowly let go of the hug, standing back up. "Come on, let's go to Swerves. If Ratchets there, he can take a quick look at you, just to make sure."

You didn't look impressed with him. You sighed, almost groaned. "If you say so. I don't really have a choice do I?" Rewind shook his helm, grabbing your hand. "Let's go."

::: Swerves :::

You almost nodded off while sitting on the bar. You could feel that your body didn't make the energy it needed, and also that the nightmare had taken a lot of the remaining energy from you.

"Are they okay?" Rewind looked at Swerve as the red minibot was looking at you. Rewind shook his helm slightly. "No, they had a nightmare, so they're pretty drained, even if they did just recharge. Plus they might have some kind of head injury from smacking face first into my shoulder."

Swerve looked mortified before hurrying over to you, ignoring Rewind as he called for Swerve to just leave you be for now. "Alright Y/N, back to bed." Your eyes widened as you shook your head furiously.

Ain't no way you're going back to that nightmare. "Oh hey would you look at that. I have somewhere to be." You got up from where you were seated and headed down from the bar.

You headed over to the door, not looking back. You didn't want to look back and see the worried expressions of everyone in the bar. You just wouldn't be able to take it, so you ignored it instead.

Once the doors had closed, you took a deep breath, closing your eyes. You were fine, everything was fine. You took one step away from the door before getting tackled to the ground by Ambs.

You began giggling as you tried getting him off of your body. He continued to lick your face and just being happy. "Okay, okay, enough." You sat up after he stopped doting you. "Thank you Ambs. I needed that."

You patted his head before standing up. "You wanna help me get to Rungs office?" Ambs barked happily, leaning down so you could climb onto his back. "Thank you."

You laid onto his back, holding your arms around his neck. Once he knew that you were comfortable, he ran off in the direction of Rungs office. In no time, the two of you were standing outside of some big office doors.

You got down and patted Ambs again. "You're amazing, you know that?" You knew that he couldn't completely understand you only what you were implying. Small sentences and such, but you always talked to him like a person. Because you knew that he, deep down, were more than some kind of pet.

You looked at your watch, seeing you were around five minutes early. Instead of waiting the last few minutes you walked up to the doors and knocked. It didn't take for the door to open, showing a smiling Rung.

He looked down after he heard a soft bark from Ambs. "Ah! Y/N, Ambs. Greetings. Come in." He moved away from the door, letting the both of you inside. You thanked him and walked over to the patient slab before getting on it.

"So, do you want to start now or do you need the last few minutes to get ready?" "We can start now, I don't mind." You told in a soft voice as Ambs laid his helm on your lap.

"Great, let's start then. The first thing I need to know is, did you have another nightmare?" You looked onto the ground, nodding your head softly. "Yeah, it was the same as before except for one thing. Instead of Rodimus as the damaged bot, it was Rewind."

You noticed Rung writing key points onto his datapad. "That would make some sense in a way. You have been a lot closer to him so it would make sense that he would be one of the people you would the least want to lose."

You glanced to the side. "Yeah, something like that." You always liked talking to Rung. He was so nice, kind and he always listened, even if he weren't at work. It was why you talked a lot with him.

"Anything else that has changed in the dream?" And because you were spending so much time with the psychiatrist you also noticed the behaviour the others had towards him.

"Not that I know of as of yet." Not a lot of 'bots would talk to him whenever he were in the room, at least not unless you were already talking with him. And then when he would go to leave, they would begin to talk about him.

"Altight. How are you doing with the crew as of yet?" You always hated hearing what they were talking about behind his back. And you also knew that he would sometimes hear what they were saying.

"Better. As you know me and Rewind has gotten closer." It was also the reason why you asked him how he was doing on your second session. Your question had prompted a discussion that had taken double the normal time.

"I've talked a lot more with Drift and Ambulon since we all have something in common. They help me a lot with getting over my time with the DJD." He even cleared the rest of his day to think, telling his patients to make new appointments.

He smiled softly, happy to hear that you were doing good. "That's good to hear."

::: Rungs office : Thirdy minutes later :::

The first thing you did after hearing the alarm was hurrying out of Rungs office, despite his calls for you to come back. You ran as fast as you could before jumping onto Ambs, who had gone after you.

The two of you hurried as fast you could around the ship trying to find out where the fighting was taking place. You weren't even sure why you were so desperate. You couldn't do that much to begin with.

You found out who was attacking when you noticed a giant blue 'con right outside of the medibay. "Overlord." He turned his helm slightly, noticing your small presence as his feet. "A human?"

He quickly recoiled after getting a shot to his forehead, by non other than Ratchet. He hurried to call everyone on the ship to fight before running over to you and scooping you up.

"You need to get out of here." You looked up at Ratchet with a determined look as you shook your head. "I want to help." Ratchet snarled slightly when Overlord went to attack the two of you.

"You can help by staying out of trouble." Drift had quickly arrived and attacked Overlord, making sure that you and Ratchet could get a little further away from the giant lunatic.

But the attack turned out to be futile as Overlord grabbed Ratchet by the back of his neckplating, yanking him back. You fell out of Ratchets servo right into Overlords.

The phase sixer curled his digits around your body, holding you in place. Ratchet widened his optics when he saw you with Overlord. "Let go of them!" Ratchet began to kick at Overlord which just made the giant 'con to throw Ratchet into a wall.

"No!" Your gaze followed Ratchets body, making you see what Overlord and done to Drift. You looked away in horror and onto the ground. You closed your eyes tightly when you heard Overlord laugh maniacally.

"How amusing. The Autobots have gotten them not one but two pets." He grabbed hold of Ambs neck when he had gone to attack. "Tsk, tsk. I see that one is more feisty than the other."

"Overlord!" You turned your head as Rodimus finally arrived. You saw his optics widen as he noticed his two friends on the ground. "Ratchet! Drift!" Overlord chuckled darkly, still keeping a tight hold on you body.

"I see you talk completely in names. Let's see what this ones named." He held you forward, letting all the others see your shaking form. "Y/N." Rodimus didn't yell this time as he looked petrified.

"What a nice name, sad that it won't be used much longer." He threw Ambs over to Rodimus letting the turbo fox knock the speedster over. And then he began to squeeze. You yelled out in pain as you felt everything crumble.

"Huh, interesting. You don't feel so squishy as other organics." He put up his other servo to you before cutting your cheek slightly. His optics lit up at the sight of the pink substance dripping from the wound. "Energon."

Rodimus didn't move, afraid that if he did Overlord would kill you. At least he was distracted at the moment, not killing anyone else. It gave the 'bots time to plan their next attack.

"Hm, I wonder." Overlord began searching your body, pulling your shirt up slightly, revealing your back to him. His grin was so wide it reached from audial to audial. "The Decepticon symbol. I wonder who you were with before these low lives."

Your eyes were blurry from all of the tears, streaming. "Please, let go of me." Overlord didn't listen as he kept searching all over you. "You even knew who I was. And I don't think these guys told you."

Rodimus wanted to do more. He wanted to help you, but now he felt helpless. He wanted to move but his mind wouldn't let him. Or rather, his fear wouldn't let him, his fear for your safety.

To everyone's surprise, it was Magnus who moved first. "Let. Them. GO!" "Shut up, I'm busy." You trembled as you looked through the giant hole in Magnus' chest. "Magnus!"

You began struggling again, trying to reach the small weapon you had on you. "Stop wriggling." First Aid was the first by Magnus' side, trying to make sure he was alive.

You finally reached it before pulling your arm out of his hold, slapping the small device on his digit. He chuckled lowly. "You really think that's gonna-" He cut himself off with a scream as electricity surged through his body.

He let go of you, letting you fall into First Aids servo as the small medic had dived to save you from fall damage. "Attack!" First Aid hurried over to where they had placed Magnus, making sure that you were safe and unharmed.

You calmed down form the high you had gotten, taking deep breaths. You sat up against a wall looking at First Aid. "Get Rung. I need to talk to Rung." First Aid tried to calm you down as you began demanding it more harshly.

In the end, your request was granted and you were put on Rungs line. "Rung, go get Max! He can help us. I think he very much wants to help us." "Are you sure?" You could hear Rungs concern and took it into consideration.

"Trust me, please." You heard a sigh come from the other side of the communicator. "Alright. I'll get him right away." You smiled, handing the now turned off communicator back to First Aid. "Smart thinking."

::: Fifteen minutes later :::

Some of the 'bots around you began cheering loudly as they saw the cell get blown to bits. What they didn't see was you huddled into the wall, looking at the ground in horror.

The empty feeling in your chest was filled just as fast as it had arrived. "Why did you do that?" Your voice was just a small whisper, only enough for you to hear. "Why did you do that, Rewind?"

"I had to. To save everyone."
